That Ecosport knock-off again, haha. Kinda wish there was an electric version of Ecosport from Ford! Fun fact, that wouldn't actually be such an impossible idea. While the US version was manufactured in India, the facelifted Ecosport for Europe was Romania-built. And look at the newest Dacia Spring - currently the most affordable EV in the old continent and the only real competition to options from You-Know-Which-Country!

And yes, Ford invested some money in Romania, likely do to cheap labour, but I'd also say they have some cool automotive history (and present)! The Ecosport was sadly a marketing failure, however right now they're builing a new brilliant, practical car there - the Ford Tourneo Courier.
Be thankful y'all don't get the dacia spring, in Argentina they're selling the Renault badged version (Kwid) and it's the biggest piece of doodoo you'll ever see, quality is so out of the room it comes with 3 nuts per wheel, its not good even for legal speed driving on the highway because of its donut wheels and sponge suspension.

I would like to see a full length film on the base model cars because that short 11 something minute video just wasn't enough 😂. Something I would like to mention from the podcast is that I definitely agree on you getting a patreon, or on some sort of app where you can do your own thing and not have to worry about UA-cam. A bunch of channels I watch on here that deal with world politics do just what you say where they have the sugar coated version on UA-cam and then the full version or a part 2 on their app. The app is called Nebula, idk if you've heard of it or not but a bunch of the channels I watch are on there. (Wendover productions, Real Life Lore, Neo, Real Engineering, etc) Also something I want to add (Really not trying to make it about me here I just want you to know) my 230i was totaled on the 4th, basically what happened was my dad was driving it to our local BMW dealer to get some computer stuff checked out and on the way a lifted F-250 ran a red light and hit my dad. My dads fine, no pain what so ever, the airbags did go off but the accident was only at 35 mph. The F-250 was obviously fine probably just needs a new bumper, but the 230 is a total loss, the complete rear end and trunk is just gone. It sucks alot but thankfully Ive been able to drive our backup truck which my mom uses for projects around the house and when we're traveling. Im not sure if were going to get another one or not, from what it sounds like for the moment my parents are just going to give me the truck to drive. But we will see, Ill keep you updated. Ok, here is a very brief summary of the main ideas of Brandon's (A-bomb's) China EV vid he deleted (not in order btw). This is for those who've forgotten what the vid was about or weren't able to watch the vid before it was deleted: - Brandon talks about how much cameras are on these Chinese EVs (like 9 or 10, maybe even more) and how they are basically rolling drones. In China, a Tesla is forbidden from being anywhere near a government building, alluding that Teslas can be used to spy on the Chinese and send that data to America. So what's not to say that a Chinese EV up here wouldn't do the same? - He talks about how ridiculously subsidized these Chinese EVs really are. The Chinese government puts billion of dollars into their domestic EV makers (Geely, BYD, Chery, etc.) and allow these companies to sell their cars at such low prices (some cars can go for as low as $10K) that these companies would almost always lose money selling their cars. However, the companies are still around today simply because they were backed up by the Chinese government. In other words: These Chinese EV makers basically had an indestructible safety net. If these Chinese EVs come on up to the Us market, the other auto makers selling cars in the US that compete in the free market would have absolutely no chance in selling an EV (or really any car for that matter) because people would naturally migrate to a car that has more "bang for the buck" than everything else in the market. - Lastly, Brandon talks about how these Chinese EVs are built so poorly that they are considered rolling coffins. If you drive a Chinese EV, it's like a ticking time bomb that you aren't aware of. Its sad too that the EV makers cant take any criticism that just means their product is garbage.(insecure). I saw the video before it was deleted, my Personal opinion on EV’s they are cool I think they are a cool idea. But that just on paper. When you put the money and effort into making this car it’s just not going to work. The world is just not ready for EV’s I’ll stick with my 3 gas powered cars until I die. But that just my opinion. @ not only that but EV’s are crap in the winter their batteries tend to drain faster than in warm weather it’s like your phone that you can drive. Its a little hard to remember what improvements were made I loved it.
Oh yeah I just talked to a guy today whose mustang Mach e lost a ton of range because of the cold this morning. He said he is going back to a gas car once he isn’t upside down on the loan. I told him he will always be upside down until it’s paid off…

That's what I am thinking too brother. Ironically, I have used every dime from here to invest back into making things better and improve the speed of production. Podcast was great! I know you want to make money from youtube but sometimes the truth is better for all to know. Its sad the world is becoming like this. Its sad too that the EV makers cant take any criticism that just means their product is garbage.(insecure). Plus its funny the US govt and US automakers talk about these cars so this video should be on their side. I wonder if it would change if you upload the vid but dont mention the country . Let people figure out on their own. Please do a tesla vid :)

I saw the original and it was quite nueonced, is wasn't electric cars bad or china bad. A 'good' reson why manafacturing in china, the have like no labour laws or enviromental laws, Not to mention the muslim forced labor camps in Xinjang!
That’s what I thought too, I wasn’t anti anything but I think for some reason it was viewed that way by certain entities…idk it was really strange. I saw the video before it was deleted, my Personal opinion on EV’s they are cool I think they are a cool idea. But that just on paper. When you put the money and effort into making this car it’s just not going to work. The world is just not ready for EV’s I’ll stick with my 3 gas powered cars until I die. But that just my opinion. @ not only that but EV’s are crap in the winter their batteries tend to drain faster than in warm weather it’s like your phone that you can drive. Its a little hard to remember what improvements were made I loved it.
Oh yeah I just talked to a guy today whose mustang Mach e lost a ton of range because of the cold this morning. He said he is going back to a gas car once he isn’t upside down on the loan. I told him he will always be upside down until it’s paid off…

Yeah man, it’s super weird…I just want to know if I did something wrong because I’ve always respected the rules and I read the gigantic document about what type of content you can post.
