BMW E34M5 3.9l Fahey/Dinan stroker 292rwhp

Gents,
This is a Fahey/Dinan S38 3.9 stroker crank used in early 90's. It's got 280 Intake camshaft and stock 264 exhaust cam. This engine was build by Frank Fahey.
A custom map/eprom has been tuned via Emulator to optimize the fuel and ignition spark for the increased displacement and the larger 280 degree camshaft on the intake side. A hi flow cat has been altered as well.
This 3.9l engine produces 292rwhp 256rwtq or 342hp at the crankshaft. At its given displacement of 3900cc and 342hp at the crank this is 87hp per liter. I have taken and collected data from other 3.9 stroker engines and they show same range of power 290-295rwhp.
Reference for power: My original stock S38-B36 at 3535cc and std CR at 10:1 with custom cams only produces 311rwhp and 253rwtq or 364hp crank which is 104hp per liter. This test is done on the same dyno in order to avoid variations from one dyno to another.
Efficiency is the key !!!!!

My engine was built by metricmechanic so what's your thoughts on the motec unit for the E28M5US

Most ECUs do work well. Your choice of ecu. I use Haltech for my work and it works great. There is so much to say about the managment and settings etc..I do offer a complete package if you are interest.

Correct its inline-6
