This song is the closing track on their second album called Favourite Worst Nightmare. It's one of my favourite albums so I'd highly recommend checking it out. Old Yellow Bricks. Do Me A Favour, Balaclava and Fluorescent Adolescent are great songs too (505 is my #1 from the record though)

i love the meaning of this song. idk if it’s right bc i didn’t look it up or anything and i don’t know background info about it, but in my eyes, 505 isn’t a place. the way they describe it, it’s a time/memory. the line “7 hour flight or 45 minute drive” means they’d do anything or go anywhere to have that back. it’s wanting the memories, the spark back no matter the cost. “i’d still adore u with your hands around my neck, or i did last time i checked” really accentuates that. also “but i crumble completely when you cry” and “you’ve come to greet me with goodbye” rlly says that they are still holding on whilst the other is moving on but in a tragic way. idk if it’s obvious so don’t come after me lmao that’s just the way i see the song.

So this song means a lot to me... you ever have the experience where you remember a song from a long long time ago but you can't figure out the name of it or the band to listen to it again? This was that song for me. It literally took me YEARS to hear it again and be able to recognize it. (this was before the internet became so easy to use) The vibe from this song when I was a kid hits me with nostalgia every time i hear it
