I wouldn't be as into music as I am now if it weren't for the strokes. This album is top.
Is this it and room on fire r superior in every way but also that’s just my opinion lol
@@buttholebandit3815 the right opinion, though tna was a return to being good
Hay I just wanted to let you know your comment made me realise it's the same with me I never listened to albums ever until I found The Strokes I think is this it? Was one of the first times I sat down to hear an album all the way through in my life
And it's also true that after that I truly became a music fanatic I am today
Thank you The Strokes
@@buttholebandit3815 nah bro this is it is fire as well
is this it rather

Everybody and their MOMMA had an equal reaction hearing that part the first time! what a banger tune this one.
Hahahahaha facts 👏👏👏
I had this bit on repeat for an hour long drive last time I did that was to the harmonica solo in adolescence by the Murlocs which is still one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard.
No pause in between the music, intense head bobbing. Subscribed
Dude saw the tik tok of your reaction to the beginning of this song. I had to come see your reaction to the beautiful ending of this song. The angelic voice that sends you off. Favorite song ever.
Same thing for me with his short.
Same
People doubted Jules vocal range for the first 2-3 albums but they later realized Jules is actually a great singer. Especially live if he's in his A game he'll give you the best vocals you've ever heard. The Strokes are one of the best bands, love your reaction!
No way Julian from 2002 could hit those notes, but his voice has aged like fine wine. People doubted him since The Voidz stuff
You know the can falsetto it live right?
julian admitted he didnt really know how to "sing" even tho his voice sounded great already, he learned how to falsetto and use his voice to his advantage
@@7kills402Hes just a natural basically lol. But, with practice yeah hes definitely refined
Nah way, Vision Of Division proved beyond any doubt the dude can do everything
I only found out about them a few months ago and now they’re my favorite all time band 😂 every. Single. Song. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 fire.
Have you heard The Room is on Fire? I personally love Angles too
@@Smarty31024 I gotta go check it out thanks!
“I only found out about them a few months ago…”
Ahhh, youth 😊
I can't possibly quantify what this album meant to me in 2020 and beyond, A masterpiece.
My sister used to play this song and many others by the strokes on the long road trips we would have in the summer. Simply nostalgic for me and now I cant go on road trips without listening to this song.
my sister also put me onto so much great music i can never thank her enough for shaping the course of my life fr
this song just came out a year or two ago?
@@niezyje8922 almost three
lol are you 12, this song ain’t that old
W sister
“The sounds they are using is different” is the perfect description of this amazing song
My fav strokes song, the riffs are iconic
Yeah!!!! More Strokes!!!!💜💜💜
Pause
@@AydenC pause on you
that’s what he said
There's something so absolutely warm and satisfying about The Strokes. Love Julian lots.
I listened to a strokes song when I was 15/16 but I wasn’t really into it.
I guess it wasn’t supposed to be part of my musical journey just yet.
Over the years I had different phases, Blink-182, KoL, Linkin Park, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink floyd, and everything and anything else you could think of.
Finally, after being so in love with music, I wanted to learn to play the electric guitar, as listening wasn’t enough for me.
Then, at the end of summer in 2019, I came across some strokes songs and I fell in love. You only live once & undercover of darkness I think it was.
I then fell into each album beginning with Is this it all the way through the Future present past. I fell in love hard and they instantly became my favorite band. It was like the music gods made me wait until I heard all the different genres and bands and then finally gifted me the strokes.
I was so happy when this dropped in 2020!
I’ve listened to all kinds of hip hop, rock, rap, and anything else you can think of. No matter what, I always come back to the strokes.
My favorite band ever. LOVE this song.
Couldn’t think of a better way to spend my Friday night than to vibe with this guy while listening to that banger of a song
This one and selfless are the best I love love love this album
Selfless is such a beautiful song
But i will live for youuuuu 😞😞😞😭😭
To this day my favorite band of all time. Always unique and always pumped out bangers!! Love this reaction!
That’s the magic of the strokes - they trick you into dancing while the lyrics destroy your emotions - dope content, man
Just FYI the Legendary Rick Rubin Produced this. The Lead Singer of the Strokes is Julian Casablanca…stay tuned for a new album also produced by Rick Rubin. #TheStrokes
Wait so is Julian doing a solo album? Or a new strokes album?
New Strokes album is what I’ve read..stay tuned
@@Drpepper842Big Rick Rubin said he's working on a Strokes album
Bro its so fun to hear things with you I heard this so many times and you made the vibes of the first listen come back. I'm coming back to vibe with you sir
Absolutely brilliant! It’s got me into the song and you! Love it ❤
Real ones know this song from GTA5 🤩 also 1:30 is my favourite part bro the drumming is immaculate who knew putting hard drumming in a peaceful song would fit so well truly musical geniuses
I've never heard it in gtav
Lovely reaction 💯 wish I could hear it again for the first time
This dude is always my mood
you need to listen all of their songs. I bet you won't regret
I really liked watching this reaction, not pausing every 15 seconds to get maximum playtime, just a genuine reaction to the entire thing start to finish. New sub
Bro I LOVE your reaction to this song😂😂😂 that was my exact same reaction
Bro you gotta do more Strokes. Last Nite, Someday, Hard to Explain
this dude's a vibe
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH NATHAN!!!!!!
more from this album!!
The majority of the songs you choose to listen to mate are all songs and music I'd listen to regularly or grew up listening to. Your reactions to them really make me appreciate the songs again like I'm listening to them for the first time again! Great work Nathan. Please do some Jamie T next time round ❤️👌💯💯💯
much enjoyed !
My favorite songs: The adults are talking And Selfless!!!
Nice reaction!!
love this
I really did think the strokes were done after comedown machine and the few singles not being that great but then they release this album filled with bangers like this. In my opinion one of their best songs.
Great reaction bro
so chill ✌
Been a The Strokes fan since forever and can’t believe I’ve discovered this song in 2023. Instant favorite
Me too 😊
If it makes you feel better the album isn’t very old
How you a Strokes fan and not know when they release an album.
bro this album won the "best rock album of the year" in 2020, where you been?😭
@@Codo_Lyoko I mean you can't blame him the pandemic hit everyone hard and he was probably hella busy during it and couldn't pay attention as to whether someone release an album or not. At least he found out and that's all that matters :]
The whole album is great that was just the first song! You should check it out!
Listen to at the door by the strokes.
Hearing this song brought such a vibe that reminded me of dancing away my sorrows. Dance the pain away but let it all out and come back stronger.
Yo love the videos! I suggest you review The Drive by Everyone You Know! I swear you won't regret it
first song i heard from the strokes, i had the same reaction xd, now my favorite band
Like, I just want a friend that listens to music with this kind of energy so we can have listening sessions together and just jam.
New favorite UA-camr
YEEEEEEESSSSS ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ more Strokes
More strokes man keep it up ✌🏽
This song bangs. I was listening to it when I skidded around a corner in my car and slammed into a parked car. If it was almost any other song that I was listening to when that crash happened, I'd have negative associations with it and wouldn't listen to it anymore. But because it was this song ie. Fucking awesome, I love it just as much as I always did. Top reaction bro
Very few UA-camrs get my sub based on personality. This guy is great
my brodah is vibing!
first time hearing this on the album i was very high and very tripped out by their sounds lol
AaaA SOO GOOOD
Please check out Ball And Biscuit by The White Stripes!! Love your videos
More !
The Strokes changed music from the early 2000s, yes they have faded a bit in recent years but this album puts them back on the map.
Check out the rare occasions - backwards
This band🔥🔥🔥🔥😸
My boi Kult FM coming in klutch! Go GTA Go!
Although I do like On the level a bit more, this is banger music in general and in a Cayo setup, it bops
Oh yeah You feel the rhythm
I love The Strokes
Would love to see snow informer
you gotta listen to "Hey Soul Sister" by Train
My Kinda Lover - Billy Squier!!!!!
Seeing other black folks jamming to indie as hard as I do makes me so happy 🥺
❤❤❤
Me always listening this song
You need to listen to some Broken Bells--maybe The Ghost Inside?
Love your videos so much! Such real reactions! If you like solid rock songs with those lyric meanings try Pop Evil- Torn to Pieces

The Strokes is just one of the best. Please check out some Primus - Jerry Was a Race Car Driver

Bro wtf your background is where I live in Bethnal Green
Not that anybody cares but I’m a big The Strokes fan. I didn’t actually like this song the first time I listened to it 😅 it’s since become one of my favorite songs of all time, just goes to show you shouldn’t always judge something based on your first impression
Ma boooi, howcome is it yer first time listening these great songs? D’ya come from a different dimension??
Wish I could hear this album for the first time again - lucky guy!
If you haven't already you need to listen to living colour - the cult of personality
now do you only live once by the strokes.
Automatic Stop
dumdumdumdumdumdumdumdum
Reptilia next pal
this man's head doesn't match his body
Stating the obvious - the rap scene needs to pay attention to proper music
i bet you listened to a lil baby song or something and decided it was all of hip hop/rap
@@terg8472 the genre is stale and played out. It's enjoying it's time in the sun but it's only a matter of time till people move on.
@@jayremi755 that applies to all genres, eventually it gets old, like yeah no kidding. also the problem with that is rock music is also kind of stale now thus why its no longer mainstream, unless you give me a reason other than "its old and stale" you cant convince me its bad music
@@jayremi755 all the great bands from rock like pink floyd are now simply seen as old people music, a sign that its staler than rap
@@terg8472 Rock had a very good run as the most popular genre in America. Could be argued that 50s to 90s was all rock. Rap will be lucky to get 40 years. I think we've already passed the peak of what rap is and was gonna be. You can disagree if you want.
Better than that rap garbage u be listening to bro
