I'm probably toxic. I always tell people earlier in a relationship/dating phase that they should tell me directly when they're tired of the relationship. Ghosting is painful, I prefer the harsh truth even if it's via text. You won't even need to explain yourself. Just tell me so I can heal/move on.
I genuinely think you need to know your own intention as a person and what you want because you won't just accept what's offered to you but you will move onsituations that favour you. Saw a Pinterest quote 😂 don't always ask what if they don't like you but how about do you even like them? Do they meet your expectations ? And let's not give too much grace to make them become those people. Goodluck to us dating 😂😂
Just watched this podcast now and oh my word Asiphe that’s so true the part where you also need to take control and not just ride the boat when the guy is trying to persue you. I’ve been seeing this guy and his actions are swaying towards wanting to be in a relationship with me but I had to take a pause and actually ask him ba “siphi ngoku, yintoni lento siyenzayo?” ndingazigqibeli because I am highly avoiding going with the flow then being dropped sekushushu because he decides ba mxm andisayifuni lento and he can “rightfully” drop me because kaloku we were not on the same page kodwa mna I thought we were. Yhu I feel so validated kengoku and I don’t feel crazy anymore for asking. Yaayy. 😊😂😂
I believe in ghosting too, because there's noway I'm going to debate my feelings all over again. I agree it's a form of self care. Sometimes you have to be okay with being a bad guy for the sake of peace of mind😭
Honestly I am with Asiphe 23:25 kum itsho kwasekuqaleni shame. If awazi kwasekuqaleni and you still trying to figure it out, go figure it out over there not apha ecakwam shame.
When you return, yitsho uba; after watching ep 3 I saw the error in my ways hence the change. Don’t leave it up to us to figure out haybo ! Ndistrict 😂
I love how Buhle “dealbreaker” are a whole conversation of their own within the ice breaking moment 😭😩 😂 andikagqibi noMamela but I have a feeling that Asiphe is a lover girl and kengoku nina animva ncam 😅 I get her from clear communication very early on. Ndixelele ufuna nto kum, uzakuyithini inumber yam. Clear communication really minimise assumptions and expectations because you know where you both stand njengabantu who are trying to build a relationship however it’s going to play out.
Reality TV is scripted, period! Even the relationships are determined by the production, especially when it comes to franchises. I've reviewed a contract where one was said to be the gay best friend of someone, yet they were not even friends in real life, the contract even stipulated how they were going to betray each other later in the season.
Reality Tv is definitely highly scripted and produced. The producers push a storyline. I've seen it with RuPaul's Drag Race. Production wants to fulfill certain stereotypes every season (the villain archetype, the sweetheart of the show, the underdog etc). Housewife producers do the same. Lmaooo there's no way women in their 30s and 40s are seriously arguing about umbhedo and starting petty high school-level drama. These are women with businesses, kids and real life problems, I find it hard to believe that they even care or believe in the drama they engage in.
