    Thanks for the post!
    I have a 2002 and am running with brights because one is out. I might as well get the assembly changed. It's a great car, though.

      +WHVN72 it's definitely good to know what to expect , while I was in there fixing the low beam on one I must have caused the high beam to go out . So had to remove it twice , it wasn't pleasant . Thanks for watching

      s33therfan agreed on knowing what to expect rather than going in blind..but just did all the work to find out that even with a new bulb the low beam still won't turn on..now on to the fuses... Thanks again for the upload 👍🏼

    Hey thanks for the video and to the comment about the radiator fill bottle..! I did not want to take half the front end off to change a bolb on my daughter's 05 Nissan quest van.. Ten minutes done..!

    If you remove the overflow tank and the top of the washer fluid bottle ( it turns counterclockwise and comes right out) you can access the headlight

    it's actually easier to just take out the air box with one bolt and work with the headlight in place

    Update. I finally got that darn light fixed. Good for me- an excuse to not drive anywhere for awhile (lil silver lining ...)
    I called Walmart, they said they'd fix it. Got there, all the sudden they couldn't fix it.
    "Too much involved in changing it" okay could've told me that when i called, i told em what the car was. Smh
    Took it to the guys who do my oil changes... jiffy lube(i'm pretty sure hmm)
    Anyway-
    30 bux and 15-20 minutes later I was heading home.
    Huge bonus- didn't break a single nail. Ha.
    Well worth 30$!
    Even though I'm a female, I really wish I had learned a lot more about engines...
    Car, boat, water craft..
    Ohh hh ya ...4- Wheelers! My kid has a mini 4 wheeler and it's just been sitting there for over a year now.
    What a waste of a 4 wheeler.
    I seriously doubt jiffy lube would fix it. Nonetheless,
    I Highly recommend them for basic car care/ maintenance!
    Thanks
    Good day
    Anyone wanna buy a cute lil pink camo mini 4 wheeler?
    Lol.

      Definitely not Nissans best idea with light bulb access. Bet they don't tell too many people that they are going to have to remove the whole headlight to change out a bulb easily. Glad you got it fixed 30 sure ain't bad if that's bulb included . It sure doesn't hurt to make yourself more knowledgeable about mechanics , at least it prevents you from being at the mercy of others . Now days there is tons of information on the Internet . Anyways thank you for update and best of luck .

    How is it that my 328 bmw takes 3-5 minutes to change a bulb but an Altima needs a 20 minute time change? Go figure...

    • @s33therfan
      @s33therfan  6 років тому +1

      Yes , and it's getting more common with a lot of newer cars. I believe it was a chrysler 200 we had to remove the entire bumper to get to the lights . They just don't make it easy on alot of these cars. Thanks for watching please like and subscribe if you like my videos

      But when you drop your Bemer off at the dealership, how would you know how long it takes?
      Give me a break.
      Let's see you back up the big boy talk, let's see how fast you are with the Altima bulb replacement.....
      Iiii know iiii know. Demographically ineffective.

    What type of bulb do they come with from factory? Halogen?

    • @s33therfan
      @s33therfan  6 років тому

      +cramblock in these particular years from 2002 to 2006 you could have either halogen or hid , it just depends on car if it came with premium package or not . From what I understand you want to go with a hid look in a halogen headlamp then you need to use a hid look alike halogen. To properly upgrade to to hid you need get whole hid headlamp. I don't fully understand why an hid kit won't work but basically it just doesn't look right. Hope this is helpful and thanks for watching .

    hey im doubtful of a reply but what is the bulb for a night time light for a 2002 Altima 2.5l

    • @s33therfan
      @s33therfan  5 років тому

      The low beams are going to be H1 and the high beam or bright 9005 . There are a lot to choose from and some can be pretty pricey. It's quite a bit more trouble but if you're looking for a brighter light you might consider converting to an LED with a kit . I know for the money they seem to have really good performance and are cheaper than some halogen or hid. Hope this can help and thanks for watching

      @@s33therfan so i bought some LEDs for 2003 Altima but they dont fit. Does that mean that I need H1 LEDs?? Thanks.

    • @s33therfan
      @s33therfan  5 років тому

      @@skipbayless7912 well the H1 led will be your low beam and you'll also need the 9005/hb3 for the high beam. Hope this helps thank you for watching

    • @s33therfan
      @s33therfan  6 років тому

      You can do it , you just need a small ratchet with a 10mm socket . I'd say to enlist help from a friend , two heads are always better than one. That headlight has to come out to get to those bulbs effectively . A lot of these cars need the bumper off to get to some of these bulbs. Those fender well flaps aren't a big deal , just turn the wheels until you can get to the snaps or screws etc. The bolt up in the fender is a pain it's hard to see and hard to get to, so that will be your biggest obstacle . Definitely find someone that can assist you that will make things alot easier. I wish I could be of more help , thanks for watching

    • @s33therfan
      @s33therfan  5 років тому

      I really don't know why they started putting so many bolts on these new headlights . You will find this on a lot of the newer cars , some you can get to from under the hood and some it's impossible and the headlight had to come out . Thanks for watching

      Actually this guy is doing it all wrong. You simply go into the wheel well, remove a few bolts, peel back the cover, and there you'll have a straight shot at the bulbs.
