The box on the simulate tab is crucial. It not only shows how an item will look but tells you WHY it looks that way, which filter settings apply to it. So if you're ever confused about why the filter is doing what it's doing you can paste the item in and it will tell you. Really useful feature for confused new players and veterans with a lot of customisations.
Thanks for the review. I somehow completely missed it when it went live! Some notes: - You correctly assessed that the strictness-naming is designed for new players and consistency (because everyone is used to that strictness grading). Every league I get the urge to rename them. - I think every single section in the customizer has changed. However, all customize changes were essentially just renaming, restructuring and improving navigation. Filter changes are coming with the 3.25 update. - The filter can actually distinguish replica and non-replica uniques. There's a replica tierlist at the bottom of the customizer - There's a huge rework to the 'my filters' screen (once the user logs in), allowing users to better organise and maintain their changes (+migrate them into new versions) PS: As discussed, I'm currently looking into better 'economy-markings' for roll-dependent items and also checking out your idea with the mythic-orb targets. I hope to have something ready by league launch

@@MAX-zl1cg Not talking about the missallignement. You have to be within two pixels of the loot to pick it up but you can select the "pick coffin" option from meters away so obviously, there is nothing technically that prevents GGG to allow us to pick up items from far away.
@@Melpheos1er I think GGG mentioned this exact topic or something very similar in an interview and their stance was along the lines of global pickup range is in slippery slope territory for adding too much automation in a way. Might be misremembering, but i think this topic was brought up

I spent a solid 5 hours this league optimizing my 3 primary filters. And once the new league is on, then I know I will have to do it again. But this time, it will be easier. 😊
I like the changes but I wish he had a stable SSF base filter. I don't care at all about the current value. I don't want the base to change at all. Just add new stuff to the filter each league. It would be nice to just start a league.. put last leagues filter in and click update to add new stuff so it continues to work. More like a "standard" SSF league filter
Use Stable. It only gets adjusted at the start of the league and barely changes, unless GGG patches thigns. You can lock tierlists if you want to keep the same tiering throughout multiple leagues as well.

Hm, ok, i' ve got some work to do to fix my filter with quake sounds. Oddly satisfying combination. Maybe it's just me but i can't live without armorshard pickup sound.
He should make all category rankings to be tier based (essences). More consistent and noob friendly. He might be working on that though. Big fan of Neversink and all his work. Dude is a legend!
The tiers of items is not always obvious (and programmatically available) and even less linked to their price/value. I also think most players just care about the value. If there's going to be a consistent tier API I might consider it as an optional mode. Thanks for the kind words.
If you download the filter does it still update with the economy or do you have to redo your loot filter every couple of days? Confused by the softcore minute by minute economy
If you download the file, it doesn't update automatically. However, if you save the filter on filterblade, you can just hop in and re-download it, and it will have the latest economy changes merged in (except for anything you've explicitly overridden) Same goes for syncing to PoE, unless you're a patron, I believe. I think you need to log in and re-sync your filters over every time you want to update.
How do i filter to show only weapons with 3 slot (vertical) like wands etc.. I used to disable all weapons excepts for 1h wands / dagger before but now i cant find it. (This is helpful for me during early game for chaos recipe)
i dont know if its a bug in filterblade but eveytime i load my filter, i have to go back in the essence tab and uncheck "Highlight essence by type" because it gets re-aded to my filter every single time. kinda annoying. Anyways, i now have dosens of hours to spend on making my item filter exactly like i want it.
Anyone know why the uniques that are hidden still drop with a sound? It's frustrating late game when you hide most things but keep hearing sounds for hidden uniques dropping everywhere.

Used Dynamic Lootfilter a couple leagues ago bc it let you quickly adjust which crafting bases to keep but it stopped working unfortunately. I also remember last league I tried to hide all rares in filterblade using the search bar on the right but it just wouldn't work and would still highlight random rares. Hopefully that's easier now.
Those "random" rares are most likely a) corrupted rares with good implicits b) "Temple or Delve Mods" special drop only mods c) identified rares with tier 1 mods (less likely now that corrupted items drop unid) d) bases with 100% rolls oder very high ilvl (86+) e) veiled mods
@@saexy_potato I tried turning off all the crafting bases and high ilvl bases. I think some of the rares that still showed up were for some vendor recipe maybe?
@@xTobsecretx possibly vendor recipes (6 socket, 6 link, white sockets(not dropping any more)), high roll bases (armour/weapons have intrinsic ranges on their base stats) these items will drop most likely unid, or the aforementioned Temple/Delve Mods (Those always drop identified btw). You can copy an item in PoE (classic shortcuts) and paste it into the simulate tap in filterblader to see which rules apply to it.
Ninja is very useful but the economy side gets attacked with malicious false information too much. If they can ever figure out ways to stop that, the site will become higher up. It's a very tough problem though.
Based on past practice, 3 weeks is now out of the question. In almost every league GGG have given a teaser on the 20th day before the start, which would have been ~8 hours ago. And a league namedrop ~22 days out.
Noone has an agreed upon description of how experienced players are. Three level 90s is mostly aimed as a line that a genuinely new player knows they haven't crossed; that's the intention there. FWIW, I think that the "top 1%" line now is "Mageblood by day 5; if they want it". Top 10% is "4 voidstones by day 5".
I wish filters where easier to make on console. Been playing for 6 years and still to this day I’ve never made one. Awesome to see filters getting better just bummed that it’s only really for pc players :/
It's not. You need to login on filterblade and then you can export filters to your poe account and directly load them on console (don't forget to set the platform when exporting).
PoB and poedb are nowhere near the level of necessity filterbalde has. If you want to make a top 3, its #1 Filterblade, then a loooooooooooooong gap, #2 PoB and #3 poedb, without filterblade the game is literally impossible to play
Yeah, w/o proper loot filters, I wouldn't play -- far too much garbage to sift through w/o one loot drfops are so bad, pretty much the only stuff I pick up is decent currencies, good fractured bases, and non garbo uniques/div cards

You are so unnecessarily long winded, you over explain everyrhing, you use 10 words where 2 would do. Your 10 minute videos could be cut down to 5 or less every time.
I get the point where you try to be constructive with your feedback, but it somewhat misses that line and borders an aggressive stance. As a long time viewer, I personally prefer sirgog's approach. If you're polite, a more appropriate take would be to request a TLDR / summary chapter in his videos.

neversink stable = filter for ssf. Some guys asking why their "needed" item is hidden, that's because they are on sc economy instead.
ALL of your large stacks are turned off. Including 3 mirror drops from Betrayal.
Turning off large stacks lets the non-stacked section take over. It just removes distinction between single and non-single. So he's doing allright.

Well, db has datamined info that is extremely useful, while ninja is basically just a market viewer and leaderboards. I rate db higher

I just hold left click for the 2x skim mode. Easy fix for us advanced players.
