I bought a 99 ml430 got as a repo they lost key and ignition knocked out I can start it with a screwdriver. But won't stay running cause no key I'm trying to get around that

Dont try this at home you willl emd up damaging any of the security ports you will have to replace $2k worth of parts. mercedez benz does not work the way normal cars do. the ignition uses an algorithm to generate matching numbers and compares then adds each with stereo , ecu, speedometer then compares the final number and if all is good a fiber optic signal sends cmd lol not wires. This idiot if you look closely the car starts after he makes contact "Hot Wiring" for a split second already..
Ok . Let me get this straight. No Key, so you’re bypassing the key fob with chip, the transponder ring, the anti-theft Control Module , basically the whole EIS , correct? I mean , you did start the car. Right? If this is all true, i’ll give you rat bastards a little more credit than you deserve! 😂😂😂 when all else fails, you simply have to try something. let’s say the car is sitting on blocks and you want to sell the engine. Not a bad way to demonstrate that the engine works! When you have nothing else to lose, sometimes it doesn’t hurt to be creative. It would be nice if you posted what year and model Mercedes this is. That’s what engineers do, take things apart and try to figure out how it works and fix it .

my local MB repair guy (not dealership) recommended the locksmith he uses & that guy made me several new steel keys for low $$
