I liked this short animation. Started out with Mimi being abandoned by her original creator and taken to be fixed by another Engineer. Then went to go confront Mimi's creator and teach him a lesson.

Wait, how did you deduce that she was abandoned by her original creator? I had assumed that the protagonist engie was returning from a patrol or an errand and found his Mimi-Sentry destroyed in his absence.
@@MarqFJA87 Well clearly the other Engineer didn't bother to fix her and replaced her if he decided to make other robots. Plus, he didn't seem too happy when seeing her again which implies that he was disappointed in her and deemed her weak and useless. It also explains why she was unhappy seeing him again.
I like that everyone treats Mimi as the engineer's daughter, and not anything inappropriate.

from a gameplay perspective, the Engie hits his builds, but surely from a canon standpoint, he's giving his builds maintenance.
Or of course, once I read a theory that the Engie hits the buildings since they have a technology that allows them to repair themselves, but they need kinetic energy to do so; This is supported by the fact that when assembling a construction that has already been built, it will be restored while it is being assembled.
That is what we keep them safe than leaving it alone

Look at that story-telling, that coherent plot and.... oh my gosh, it even has cute and funny in it.
It took me watching the whole video to understand what it was about. I just thought he found Mimi in the trash and just decided to attack that random engie for no reason.

As an Engi Main, I can totally see all the love she is getting coming from a very genuine place of care and not just "cute animu gurl but Sentry"
I am honestly very surprised just how universaly clean the Tf2 community is when it comes to mimi sentry. No weird ass sexual content involving robot childrens, just our good old Engie being a good dad to a cute robot girl.

They truly are the backbone that has kept not only this game, but the franchise itself still relevant almost 20 years later.

I really like how a lot of character traits that Mimi has developed over the course of several unrelated videos has come together to form one character in this animation.

Here we can see that mimi's design, despite being very cute, does not fit with the rest of the robots in the game, especially for the head

I don't hate it, I said I thought it was cute, and it shows what the community can do even after 6 years without an update. I just said that the model does not match the rest of the robots. I only say my opinion, I don't mean to offend anyone.
