So happy about this. I was waiting for the trailer to drop all day today. I heard of this remaster and found out about the release date for the trailer. So awesome a physical is happening and it's releasing for ps5, switch and xbox series x. I believe I'll get all 3 physically. From what I read and seen of it. It appears to be uncensored. Which is fantastic. I'm glad that its a remaster instead of a remake. Because the remake it would be different for sure. I'm just waiting for the physical preorders to begin.

I’m surprised that this looks like a Remake look as Accurate to the Original than completely changing it, I’m hoping it doesn’t Censor RePop as I’m getting tired of the B$ Sensitive People that doesn’t want Games to be Good and Successful, I do wonder if I should find the Original as I will do it in the Name of James “The Man” Gunn.
It was originally going to be a "remake" but they later decided to make it a "remaster", meaning that the focus shifted towards prioritizing preservation.
That means it won't be as "new" as they originally planned, but it will be more faithful to the extent that it's possible.
The biggest difference will be music, since they don't have the licenses anymore for most of the soundtrack.
That could make or break the vibe depending on how they handle it, but I'm optimistic. A lot of the old licensed tracks just don't hit in 2024 like they did over a decade ago.
I'm fine with not having Skrillex playing as long as what they replace it with still feels good.
@@saikimayu Makes Sense and in all honesty I rather see Original Music than to rely on Old Music, it used to be good at first but nowadays it’s becoming Tiresome.
@@featherguardian6023 I agree. It worked back then because dubstep had just broken into the mainstream (remember the dubstep gun from Saints Row?)
That meme doesn't work anymore; dubstep is pretty much a dead offshoot of DnB and just feels like aging millenial vibes.
I wouldn't mind some of the iconic/relevant songs returning like Cherry Bomb and Hey Mickey, but in general I think a soundtrack overhaul will be a net-benefit to the game.
Suda 51 has awesome and varied music taste too, so however he makes it work I think it will be good.

Lollipop Chainsaw is a seriously hype game. Well structured, great boss fights, creative stage designs. And a ton of replayability. I'm stoked to see you cover this.

I've never beaten the original, but always enjoyed what I did play. Shame about the license songs and costumes, but it'll be nice having a new wave of accessibility available.
And I'd probably find room to main Juliet were she faithfully adapted to Mortal Kombat 1.

i am really glad this game is getting a remaster, i wanted to play it back on 360 as a teenager but grew up in very conservative religious family and the kinky stuff and zombies meant i was definitely not going to get it. had a huge crush on Juliet back then lol she's so cool

I played the original last year since I ended up getting an Xbox 360. It's one of my favorite games now. Juliet should show up in MultiVersus.

I cant remember if i commented on here or not yet. But i wanted to also tell you that at the LRG 2024 showcase lollipop chainsaw repop was confirmed to get a physical for switch, ps5 and xbox series x on july 25 with LRG. Im ordering all 3😊. Plus more gameplay was revealed at the showcase and it was fantastic. I wont spoil anymore from the showcase just in case you end up reacting or not. But it was a awesome one.
It really should have been a remake with new mechanics and villains and jokes. Maybe this IS the start of bringing her back to life to get a sequel.

Man I was excited to finally see this trailer and to finally see my favorite voice actress reprice the role of Juliet Starling but when I seen the trailer for the first time my hyped was thrown out the window I was really disappointed that the remake looked exactly the same as the original like if it was still using the unreal engine 3 instead of the latest one but I have found out that it won't cost 60 dollars and it will have a lot of new outfits including a almost fully Nude outfit that someone asked and they promised to put in the game what definitely sucks is that the remake will only be on the newer consoles PS4 and Xbox one are screwed
