Hey I wanted to ask, do you get sick from mosquitoes there? And are there good doctors and hospitals?
It's my biggest fear that I will be sick and won't know what to do
Dengue fever is a slight possibility, but just wear bug spray all the time. No need to worry about getting sick. There are hospitals and clinics everywhere and pharmacies too. You can even order medicine to your villa on the Gojek App😊
I’m heading to Bali early Sept for 5-6 nights. Like to visit Nusa Dua, Seminyak, Ubud, & Penida Island. Maybe Gili Island too. Is that too ambitious for a short stay?
Definitely too ambitious. It’s best to stick to 2 destinations. We’d stay stick to Nusa Dua and Ubud. Maybe Nusa Penida although we always suggest staying one night on Nusa Penida instead of doing a day trip🙏🏻

Sorry guys, regarding beach clubs, I am a bit confused, because after we visited Finns, Potato head etc, we have a bit strange feelings. Finns is something like back to 2000. In Potato nothing to do if there are no events. We‘ve enjoyed Palmilla Beach Club on Melasti, they have a really modern music and nice athmosphere, but otherwise they are all somehow truly strange.
Next level is in Marbella, Ibiza and Tulum, but definitely not in Bali…
You have to go to Finns when they’re having an event. Did you go to Savaya? That is definitely next level. We don’t have anything like those places in Africa😊

Pardon my ignorance, is it really generally okay to drink liquor in Bali? Are they not mostly Muslims? I am afraid of offending locals if I do drink in the island.
Bali is mostly Hindu island. Unlike Java which Is mainly Muslim. Drinking liquor is okay in Bali😊

Excuse me! I don't think like you. My husband and I we went to Bali 5 years ago. My husband was very sick about 3 days🤮🤒because he eating food there. We don't think go back at
Bali again. And I watch the news in Australia, many Aussies got sick and died because of the food in Bali.
That can happen in aaaany foreign country you visit.

sure you can get sick in Bali. You can get sick in many tropical places. Why is that a reason to say "excuse me, i don't think like you"? Your husband was unlucky. Nothing to do with how worth visiting Bali is (or not).
I find it all a little amusing influencers knowing Bali when many of us have been travelling to Bali and Indonesia before they were even born. I first hit Bali when nobody had a car, electricity had just arrived in Ubud and taking a bemo from Kuta to Seminyak was a long way. I suggest if you really want to know the real Bali get a Lonely Travel Guide. Better yet travel to Java where I saw 6 foreign tourists total over the ten days I was there last month.

Glad you enjoyed Bali during the pandemic without tourists, and now you left and you cannot imagine how busy it is. Tourists are back, traffic has increased, and prices have increased. Canggu has one motorbike incident per week with people getting injured or even dying. Stay away from Bali! This island may have been a nice place to visit in the past, but its not anymore.
