how does he still sound so great? one of the best rock voices of all time, no doubt about it. I saw him solo back before VH and he was just as good a guitar player. long live Sammy!
Hey camera guy, do you even realize the two guitar players that are on stage with Sammy and Mike? 🤔🤦🏻♂️ (Don’t have to zoom in on Sammy the entire time.) 🧡
Sammy Hagar should be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame. He has been around since the 70's and now he is in his 70's. He has written some of the best metal anthems with some of the best metal guitarist. Even the one off stuff is better than some bands that have been together for years. HSAS, Chickenfoot, Heavy Metal, Fasttimes at Ridgemont High, and any other 8o's movie soundtracks Sammy was there. I repeat Sammy Hagar needs to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!!!
The Montrose Days were awesome. Rock the nation. Bad Motor scooter Space Station #5. So many years ago listening through the Marantz and the big old Klipsch Speakers just a teenager getting primed to go out for the night. Ah to be young Now get up sit on the edge of the bed for 20minutes grab my cane and thank God for another Day. Wouldn't change a thing. Keep on Sammy. You are the Man.
Ronnie this was a memory man getting to play with my first real guitar mentor it was at the sound of music in Sacramento CA.ronnie was a super cool awesome guy he picked me to play some clubs this was after gamma rip Ronnie Sammy n Mikey a team of the real McCoys.
Mike and Sammy American Rock N Roll Treasures I’ve been rockin out to that song since I was 12 years old in 1978. I don’t know what Sammy eats for breakfast but I wish he would tell us. I want to keep on rockin at 75 just like Sammy
Glad to see Tiki Bar is still going strong with great shows! I was there in the beginning and enjoyed all the bands Kyle brought in, congrats to everyone keeping the tradition alive! Sammy and Michael are magic onstage!
I loved Montrose when I was young, and I loved when Sammy was in Van Halen, did not care for David Lee Roth loved his voice but did not like his personality. Thank You for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️ PEACE and LOVE.
I gotta say that it's great that Sammy and Michael r still in a band 2gether. Their new sound 2 me is a replica of the Jimi Hendrix Experience band, which is good. I grew up on them playing my white Stratocaster guitar then. I now own an Eddie Van Halen guitar (red/blk/white series. I so prefer the Van Halen band sound. It took me an awfully long time 2 master Eddie's riffs, licks and all of his other magical tricks. I'm not going 2 abandon that, as it required a great deal of my life and time rehearsing and practicing those extremely difficult licks. I truly miss Eddie Van Halen (The guitar king 4ever)🎸🎶🤟😎
Ya know.... M.A.'s the glue that made VH swing. Of the 4 in VH, the media always treated him like he was at the back of the bus. In reality... Mikey was driving Da'Bus all along. A great band is a team sport. The team has got to get along to do great things. Sammy has been a part of some legendary teams. *Mean Streets still rocks my soul hard!! Cheers!
Definitely agree with you his vocals also were on another level.. he never got the credit he deserved but it never bothered him tho because he is humble at heart. 😎😎👍👍
Terri Kath and Ronnie awesome. Never saw montrose but first time for Sammy he opened for the scorpions at the Aragon. Did see Ronnie montrose a few times. Once with journey and the third band van Halen was the opener. Didn't even know who they were . Aragon brawl room.
I owned the first two Montrose records back in the day on vinyl and consider them to this day some of the best rock music ever made. Every member of the band was on point and perfect on every single song. There wasn't one bad song on either record.
Mike has a great voice!! Very good singer!! I met him an Eddie at a hotel in Baltimore md..the place was called the capital center..we bribed a security guy with a fifty dollar bill to get the hotel address..we went there cause we had some good powder..the road crew guys were cool..they all wanted some blow..we provided❤ we met Eddie Mike an some road crew..we did blow off the fair warning album cover!!!❤
Sammy Hagar was a very nice person, I met him once in a club in San Bernadino in 1973-74, I worked with his mother Gladys, at Keyser-Roth hosiery warehouse she also was a very fine lady, 50yrs ago and I can still remember him. 👉🥳👀

My first concert ever: International Amphitheater, Chicago, 1973. Montrose (with Sammy) opening, Frampton's Camel, and Humble Pie.
Terri Kath and Ronnie awesome. Never saw montrose but first time for Sammy he opened for the scorpions at the Aragon. Did see Ronnie montrose a few times. Once with journey and the third band van Halen was the opener. Didn't even know who they were . Aragon brawl room.
Sorry thought text said Chicago the band. Had to reread it. Oh well it still would have been nice to see Terry Kath.
If you just saw those guys sitting in a bar and didn't know who they were you would never guess they do this on stage. Still sound great.
