+Reason that's nothing that can't be fixed with an ota, besides I do have an one plus 3 and never experienced that myself before or after 3.2.4

this is really not happening to me. My device toggle fine from wifi to data with out any issue. But the thing is these are software issues and these can be fixed nothing wrong with one plus 3 i have s7 still my daily driver is one plus three its an awesome device to play with.

    • @Raison_d-etre

Data reception is not usually a software issue. And even software issues are often left unpatched.

I've had it for almost two months and never had to do this... I really don't have any complaints other than the charge cord. That's just because everyone I know has an iPhone or some other Android and don't have the same cord.. So I just make sure to take a cord with me when I go places. NBD.

What are you comparing this to? A barely $400 phone against $700-800??? With snapdragon 820 and proparbly android 7.0 future proof among its 6GB or RAM?
Where are you ever going to need more than 64GB of storage?
Carry 5000 songs with you? One word: Spotify.
Take 10 000 pictures? Another word: Cloud (or transfer them to an actual storage device and don't keep them on your phone)
Record almost 4 hours of 4K video with a single take? How does your battery like that?
Install 100 games or over 1000 applications? You a horder are you?
    My personal opinion is:
Based on almost 20 reviews and spending over 30 hours for searching the best affordable high-end phone on the market.
I finally found it. The OnePlus 3 has the same CPU than those phones that cost almost twice as much. It has 4k video recording and 720p with 120 frames per second (Imagine?). It has optical image stabilization and electrical image stabilization. The standard edition has 64GB internal storage without any extra cost which is plenty for around 2 hours of 4k video footage if you are into those things. OnePlus 3 has only a small difference what comes to headphone sound quality compared to the HTC 10 (which masters with sound quality). It has Wi-Fi Direct for mirroring your device to your TV that has WiFi miracast. It supports the highest bandwidth network available from the operators for consumers. A wast amount of settings you can change how you desire without rooting the phone. You wont void the warranty if you root the device.
I can't even count all the pros this phone has. Watch LinusTechTips and his review of this phone, he's good with reviews.
Literally this is the phone you can use to slap those iPhone owners in the face for wasting their money.

They compare it to 700-800 dollar phones because oneplus goes by the name "Flagship Killer". So it kinda says its better than the 800 dollar phones. Which it is not but the margin is so small ofc. You get little bit more power, battery and some what better camera for another 400 dollars so is it worth it? for some people it is.

    • @MrYlijumala
      @MrYlijumala 7 років тому +1

***** That is not true. Some people just want the absolute best at that time. Example cars. You can get outstanding car for 100k but if you want to improve 0-60 time by 1 second you need to put at least the double the money probably even more. But there are some who will still do it even tho the benefit is zero in normal day driving.

Its funny how people were bashing Oneplus for Oxygen OS by saying "it sucks" etc, but now they prefer it over ZTE Axon 7 or Galaxy S7 simply because it is close to stock. I am a S7 user BTW and I think Oneplus 3 is awesome.

I'm a perfectly happy consumer. using op3 with a slim case covers the hump which is what you're supposed to do anyway. Do you even know how batteries work? you cannot just add a battery around the camera ( the space that is taken by a cover anyway ). nonetheless a slimmer device is a great trade-off for a hump you won't even notice

  • @AkashRaj-ym7jh
    @AkashRaj-ym7jh 7 років тому

The cons mentioned are not that much problem at all.The major one is the ext.storage.
The camera bump would be easily covered using a back case. The back and home buttons can be interchanged in the settings.

I have the One Plus 3t and i'm a very proud owner, i think the worse things yout metioned are not that worse, i get used to most of the things since i have it. An internal storage of 128GB is enough, i agree with you because expandable memory is never a bad thing. I even like the design of the recent and back button. The Alert Slider is a nice things, but actually i'm not excited about it, because there are only a few options and especially these are not the ones i wanted to have (to change the order of the slider-options would be a nice feature too). The worst thing with this phone is the camera, you already said it, it's just too big, it made a few scratches at the edges of the camera, while i was using it without a case and i always felt to be really careful putting it somewhere. In fact i wouldn't recommend to use it without a case. I didn't noticed any problems with the speakers (yeah, sometimes you block one of them, but most of the phones have this problem and if not, the speakers would be covered at another point while holding). I had no problems with switching from WiFi to mobile data (maybe they fixed it in the 3T, i don't know exactly).
Thank you for the video, it was nice to know how other peoples think about this phone and a fex of the pros and contras i hadn't noticed till i saw your video. Thanks! ;) Thumbs up.

I like to use silicone cases (Cruzerlite bugdroid for example) so camera bumps for me are really irrelevant - if anything it means I prefer them as phone is slimmer meaning the silicon shod version is also slimmer.

About the Buttons, many said and showed that there is an option that toggles onscreen buttons, like the ones on the nexus 5 and the newer nexus 6p or 5x I think... You should check it out, because I would use them if I had a OP3 (which will be in 2 weeks or so, so hyped for it)

  • @StevenHoff

  • @Fiendir

There is a reason to leave out microSD support though; performance. Onboard flash memory is ALWAYS going to be a lot faster than an SD card.
I honestly hated the lack of an microSD slot at first. But since Google seem absolutely intent on fucking external storage up MORE in every new Android version, it's more of a relief not having to bother. ~60GB is just fine if you can stream and cloud storage most of your stuff.

  • @snakeinthegarden1146

I definitely noticed the cell service issue, that happens to me a bunch. that's the only true non nitpick defect.
I never cared about or thought of camera bulge until reviewers mentioned it everywhere. I'm a picky person for how it feels in the hand and how it looks when I use it but I am never looking at that side of the phone. I honestly think they made right call not filling out the body.
just threw a matt black dbrand skin on my oneplus3 and it is beautiful now. I love this phone, and more than any other premium one before I don't think I've been continuously delighted by a phone as with this one. normally they all get slow or bad battery, but not this one. and the photos are great, everyone compliments my lighting and colours. oneplus3 for the win :-)

Cons can be easily neglected as compared to pros.
    1. Keys Are not issue as you can use software
    2. For camera hump. Now if the phone is slim then what you expect??
    3. Memory. Come on you are getting 64gb internal storage.
    4. Speakers. Again not a big issue.

HONOST REVIEW of one plus one after 1 yr of use:
1.battery almost becomes 1/3rd.u hv to charge atleast 2-3 times a day.battery drains so fast. tat too without playing any games on the phone.
    2. many a times when u disconnect a call,phone switches off n restarts again.sometimes it just hangs.
3.too many signal drops while the call is going on.the other person only hear bits n pieces of ur sentences.
4.many a times u hv to put ur phone on airplane mode n off it again just to get the signal or net working.

It's funny how everybody is saying OnePlus should have made the 3 thicker for that camera bump, while the OnePlus 2 was too fat and didn't have a camera bump.
I think the OnePlus 2 failed because people don't know what they want. It's one of the best devices I've ever tried and I think I might prefer it over the 3 because it looks better, is as fast and it feel way better in the hand

Agreed with all the 5 best things and all the worst things wasnt true for me :) . Love my OnePlus 3T.
The buttons arent a problem for me i think. You learn where they are and i like the more stealthy look compared to Samsung's.
The camera bump sure is worrying but it wont be much of a problem when a wooden case or the included plastic case is on, which it will be most of the time.
Since the OnePlus 3T starts at 64bg i believe not many people will have a problem with the storage on the device, plus I have the 128gb version so it won't be problem at all.
I haven't noticed any data problems, yet. I have actually only had the phone for a couple of days so I haven't had time to notice these problems yet I suppose.
I came from a xperia z3 compact and man this new phone is fast! It's crazy. My mind isn't adapted for such a fast phone, I can't keep up with it almost.

You're completely wrong about ditching the memory card slot. You don't seem to have realized it but there's a huge number of users who actually use two sim cards and for average users 64GB is more than enough.

Its possible to have the second slot be both a micro SIM and microSD card slot, but they chose to not employ that option on the OP3.

I think the worst thing is the video recording - all videos are shakey no matter what you do and the sound recording is so so bad it sounds like someone is scratching on a blackboard all the time.

Hah, I have OP3T 128GB version and I have 8% of space left and I love it. My phone is full of games that I don't play (like 89% of all usable space is games). It's awesome. My phones have to be almost full, it satisfies me.
