+Derek Vonk Nope. Playstation made the Playstation X and their Playstation Portables count from 1000, to 2000, to 3000, to "Go", and then for some reason, to "Vita".
Why the hell do developers think a thinner phone is better? Id rather a thicker phone that's fits snugly in our roundish hands and also has way longer battery life, I really hate recharging my phone every single day.
North Southy yeah, I never really understood it, there was this one point of time in my life where I used an extended battery from zero lemon and it actually doubled the thickness of my LG G Pro but I didn't really care because I had 3 days of battery life.
I like the idea of the background music but I think the vid didn't nailed Maybe lower the music a touchdown and use some easy music (And also like the normal reviews)
why does iy feel like this review he seems to look at all the positive stuff about the phone but with the g5 he focuses so much on small things he did not like.. just saying..

Keep the full HD screen formula. This will make them winner in future. Why waste battery which is clearly significant for regular life for something which doesn't matter and not observable like QHD screen and drains battery like crazy in daylight.

6:37 It has an 16 megapixel rear camera not front like u say in the video the front camera is 8 megapixel correct that, the new One Plus 3T has both rear and front 16 megapixel cameras.
They had me until the lack of an expansion slot. It's a shame that there's really no company out there that's consistently hitting all the beats. They hit a few on one device and then they hit a different few on another. We do not live in a world where streaming on mobile is particularly reliable, free, or even very cost effective. Having flexible storage options is vital for anyone with a lot of music, takes lots of pictures or video, or even those who play games. I have a Moto X Play, which I chose for the SD slot and killer battery, but it sadly lacks a gyroscope and has a middling chipset. This means it's not great for compass and navigation (it thinks I turn corners long before I've actually started to turn the car) and it's also not viable for cardboard VR because it doesn't correctly track orientation. But I still appreciate the phone for what it is, a device that doesn't fuss about extreme thinness (which is a waste of time anyway) or high resolution super dense screens (how close do you really need to be to the phone?), and runs stock android at a reasonable price. One Plus has always had my attention, but they're moving more and more into the mee2-Samsung-space. I don't give a damn about the thinness below 10mm, I don't give a damn how big the base storage is (I want expansions dammit!), and I don't care for anything bigger than 5" because I want a one handed device! But on the flip side, the customizable system buttons are something Android sorely lacks, I actually prefer the left side volume buttons because you can easily find them in the dark (rather than thumbing the power button while looking for volume. MOTO!! If you don't brace the phone with your thumb, but use your palm instead this setup is far better), and the quick launch camera is super nice to see (the moto is pretty pokey...). My biggest gripe though is the storage thing. Why do all of these companies have to be so intent on pushing either streaming services, or super pricey internal flash storage? I now the internal storage is faster than SD, but that's irrelevant when it's used for music and pictures. One Plus doesn;t even get a lot out of it, because they don't run any streaming music services or anything. They hae no good reason not to accomodate an expansion slot. And yes, if they means the phone has to be a little fatter SO WHAT!? Why does it need to be 7 frickin mm?
You should look into the ASUS Zenfone series. www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=7454&idPhone2=6917&idPhone3=8106 the middle phone is the one I am currently using, just because I love it(only major complaints, it noticeably slows down when RAM gets below 800MB, heats up while charging, and there is no replaceable battery which are all things I can tolerate coming from the God awful LG F60) if you don't trust links on the internet, as no one should, just go to GSMarena(or the like) and compare your phone to the ASUS Zenfone 3 and OnePlus 3, as I don't think the Zenfone 2 would be much of an upgrade from yours, and I honestly wouldn't suggest buying it since it wouldn't be a big enough upgrade. P.S. I should note that my Zenfone is not my main "picture taker", I have a Nikon DSLR for that, and if I am not mistaken I don't think the Zenfone 3 is on sale yet.
Thanks for the ideas. I've had bad experiences with Asus tablets, so I never put much time looking into the zenfones. I'll give them a look. But either way I only got my Moto last fall, so I wont be due for an upgrade for at least another year. I like that they both use 1080p screens, because 400dpi is absolutely plenty.
+YouTuJ3eJ3lows wow that Axon phone looks pretty nice, but I've never heard of the company nor can I find any specs. I'll keep it on my radar for when it actually launches.
Wanooknox Axon is the model name. ZTE is the company. ZTE has decent budget phones, but I've honestly never had any experience with their higher end stuff although 2 of my co-workers have their Phablet and seem to like it. Just keep in mind it is to LG what LG is to Samsung if that makes any sense.
Let me tell you this phone is great BUT seriously lacking in few things if fixed by OP4 it will be a god a phone that can truly rival all.First of all they skimped the battery and certain hardwares to make this phone super light and super thin. They can easily add more battery into this phone which could decrease the camera hump and would only make it slightly heavier and thicker and we had no problems with that on the oneplus one. Do not try to skimp give us a big juice battery. i'd also like to see better camera MP doesn't mean everything although it's great for pictures it still doesn't compare in low light or video to other phones. I'd like to see expandable storage which they could easily add given the space they would need for the battery. And i'd like to see front facing speakers. Tl:dr - bigger battery/expandable storage/better camera.
anyone know what back does the phone have ? it doesn`t seem like a cover but neither it is the original back. if it`s a cover what cover is it ? thanks.
Linus said, "That is the most comfortable 5.5 inches I've had ever held thanks to the rounded edges". People can get some different ideas from that too :P
LinusTechTips I've got a similar issue. I'm currently near the end of my contract with my Z3+, and even though the Z5 is something like 5mm taller, it feels more awkard to wield. THAT SAID...I like that sony keeps their UI vanilla. Touchwiz scares me. lol
You can't compare PC hardware to mobile hardware. First of all, most phone CPU-s use a completely different architecture (RISC as opposed to CISC - two completely different approaches to CPU construction). RISC CPU-s take very little power and can be extremely fast, but they do very little with each clock cycle... whereas CISC CPU-s (x86(-64) CPU-s are essentially CISC architecture) do a fuck ton of work with each clock cycle but draw more power (heat up more) and are usually a bit slower. Similarly, currently most widely used phone RAM is about 2 times slower to react than a mid-tier DDR3 PC RAM. That is because phone RAM uses a lot more insulated capacitors meaning they do not have to be refreshed as often (they take a lot less power) but at the same time it takes longer for the capacitors to load the data bus to necessary levels. So no, that phone is not more powerful than your laptop... at least not in most workloads.
Well this seems like an awesome phone for the price. However since ordering it I have been having trouble with getting their cases as they are out of stock as well as not getting any news of when they will be in stock. Furthermore it seem to take ages to even ship out my phone. (Compared to other retailers its been 4 days and its still not sent out yet). Just warning anyone who is looking to buy one PS Everyone just keep re-posting the same shitty comment quoting Linus hoping to be on top and not saying anything important at all.
Thanks for the contribution. The main thing I despise about the tech field is the immaturity and social dissonance that most people display. It was kinda funny the first time, not so much every other time.
Tmr, i want a 100 cores @ 5ghz. 64gb ram. 5.5" 8K ultra amoled. 1TB internal + 1TB external storage. Ir blaster. 20,000mah replacable battery. 10 years battery life. Diamond X titanium build. Change to full in 1sec. with either stock any software (win, and, ios) or tri force fuckware.
Ya forgot the NFC mate xD But fr tho, people would want that phone and expect it to become a reality but even if that did happen, the cost would be too high and people wouldn't end up buying but instead just dreaming and hoping one day they'll get it.
7:40 In OP3 defense, you don't have to go to the side menu to switch to video mode. You can just swipe vertically on the screen to switch between modes.
I know, they finally added NFC not a deal breaker when I bought the OP2 but it's an awesome feature. Overall I have really enjoyed the phone but OP3 seems like a big improvement over the OP1 and OP2, nonetheless, these are two great phones
Your review was, by far, the best I've seen. I sometimes binge watch tech reviews and yours is as entertaining as is insightful. Very well done. You've got yourself a subscriber :)
+DjuntasGaming nope its not enough. 64gb with sd card slot would be much better or if they want to remove sd card slot 128gb is must. Other than that having a external sd card with you every time has its own advantages.
damn, how big are app's getting. I guess I don't install many app's myself...no idea how much I use of my...8? or 16 GB on my current phone :P I guess 64 is to little for power-users.
+DjuntasGaming yeah if you are a power user 64gb may be enough for all the apps but then there is no space left to store all of your photos , videos etc. So for that purpose I use another external 64gb sd card.
Linus, a correction needs to be made in the video. In the quick rundown of some of the specs, you stated that the front camera is 16 megapixels, which is not correct. It's 8MP. The rear camera is the one with 16 megapixels. I personally found it odd to highlight the front camera, since you already did it once, and I found the megapixel count oddly high with the front camera, and therefore questioned it. Looking at the specs reveals the above information.
Yes. Some of us do need more space. For example, if you take lots of photos in RAW and videos in 4K, you'll burn into 64GB in a couple of months. And if you install huge games or like to store offline content like FHD movies and lossless music, you really won't get far without a 200GB microSD card for example. We all use our smartphones in different ways, so choice and expandability is a huge must.
1) if they didnt put a skin on it, they wouldnt have a sponsorship, and there would be no phone reviews 2) the review is of the phone, so why do you even care if it has a skin or not 3) LTT needs sponsors, so if you dont want them to have sponsors then go ahead and pay them yourself the $50000/month it takes to run a business and then you can stfu
"the review is of the phone, so why do you even care if it has a skin or not" So that you know what the phone ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE. just saying, i agree with everything else you said.
^exactly my point, i don't care about the skin, i care about the phone which i cant even fucking see. Work up the clauses with dbrand and remove that clause of covering up the phone throughout the review. Dont let them use you, your review style tbh is one of the best out there.
i mean if you really care about whether or not the phone has fucking skin on it or not you can go watch another channel i for one love dbrand skins, so. to each his own.
"the most comfortable 5.5inches I have held in my hands".... lmao 😂😂😂... I highly doubt that's true Mr.Reviewer... this was hilarious... can't stop lol
You can get the OP3 for 400€ and the G5 for 430€ at the moment where I live. What do you reckon? I am pretty interested in the wide camera of the G5 and it is a bit smaller, also other reviews didn't trash the lowlight performance like you did. On the other side the OP3 seems to have a less awkward beta product build quality and the developer/ROM support seems to be way better with Oneplus devices.
Hey Linus, cool review! Just wondering if you also measured the heat from the charging cubes for the HTC 10 and the Oneplus 3. They did look light up so I wondered if you checked that as well. Cheers!
"The most comfortable 5.5 inches I have ever held."
Hehe
I see what you did there
i looked for this
Fuck, I immediately went to the comments to type that quote.
God dam, you beat me too it. I hope he was talking about the phone :))
"Most comfortable 5.5 inches I have ever held" I'm sure your wife would share a different opinion.
For a reason it says "i have ever held"
=))))) u made my day
LMAOOOO
WOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I was going to comment the same exact thing, about what linus said about 5 in a half inches. lol
"It is the most comfortable 5 and a half inches i've ever held" *Pauses for immature laughter*
ahahaha
lool
Besides Luke, right?
Vishal Nehra [facepalm]
Vishal Nehra that's what she said
"5.5 inches, it's still too big for my hands" -- Linus 2016
Still, it's the most comfortable 5.5 inches he's ever held.
haha i came too
Tss yeah, what's he talkin bout a buncha peckas or sumpthin... tss...
and I came at 5,5 inches
you came for this you say................one question, in what way?
Linus did you really say "The most comfortable 5 1/2 inches that I have ever held." at 2:24 xD
lol
LOL!
yeah i noticed that to, i feel sad for linus
other things may be more or less then 5.5 inches.... ;)
that must really be some phone given the number of 5 1/2 inch objects that he has played with.
When you realize a small phone has more RAM then your computer/laptop
Feelsbadman :(
my computer has 4 gigs :(
16 gigs ddr4 :) ... which coincidentally doesn't really do much more compared to ddr3 lol
+A b r o a d I think I incorrectly used the word 'coincidentally' lol
I have 32 gigs.
Most comfortable 5.5" you have ever held... Really?
I thought he would follow up on that (like saying that's what she said) but he just carried on
That's probably because he figured the comment section would do enough of that for him.
I feel like that s7 edge, which also has a 5.5" display, would feel better because of the rounded back.
I'm using OP3 and I can admit it, YES! it is the best 5.5" I've ever used.
He's more used to holding his 4 incher LOL
LOL "the only high tech company who knows how to count" Good one :) Yeah quite a novelty to have a product with proper product numbering.
I bursted out laughing at that point.
Technically it's the 4th phone lol.
It was a nice point, but with the oneplus x between them, I think playstation still does the better job ;)
+Derek Vonk Nope. Playstation made the Playstation X and their Playstation Portables count from 1000, to 2000, to 3000, to "Go", and then for some reason, to "Vita".
+AlakaSamJR that's because they were livin la Vita loca :)

ayyyyyyyyyyyy
Literally scrolled down to see who else got this XD
"I can say comfortably that it's the most comfortable 5 1/2 inches I've ever held"....
Lol, I noticed that too.
Started laughing when he said that
That's what she said!
+wihlke I'm pretty sure the world average for penis length is shorter than 5 and a half inches but whatever you say
I think the average size is about 5 inches so it's par for the course lol
Why the hell do developers think a thinner phone is better? Id rather a thicker phone that's fits snugly in our roundish hands and also has way longer battery life, I really hate recharging my phone every single day.

rather have a slightly thinner phone so it doesn't feel too big with a case on it. I think here it gets a pass because of the quick charge.
Not a 16mp front camera linus. Its an 8mp albeit the rear is the 16mp. Proofread
+Joey Pinili derp.. My bad. Misspoke.
+LinusTechTips it happens sometimes to the best of us. :) nice video yet again linus. Keep em coming!
more like misspoke, and mistyped, was in onscreen graphics as well ;)
an amazon leak a few hours before launch did show 16MP front and 8MP rear. Maybe they got confused with that.

I like the idea of the background music but I think the vid didn't nailed
Maybe lower the music a touchdown and use some easy music
(And also like the normal reviews)
But overall the vid gets a like from me
Its ok, but they should have played it at the beginning and at the end...
agree with this; perhaps go with some simpler music, as it was a tad distracting
Trying to focus on Linus with that jig in the background was hard I think and I was paying more attention on the song than his review.
Unfortunately, I had to stop watching because the background music was so distracting :(
"The most comfortable 5.5" I have ever held."
Glad someone else heard that the same.
I was just about to comment this :(
I knew somebody would comment on this. TOP KEK
no shit man , u ever feel iphone 6 5,5 " ?? it feel like holding a tab ridicilous....1+3 5,5 " is the best
This music makes the video unwatchable. Way too loud and distracting, please do NOT make this a regular thing
I completely agree. It's hard to concentrate :/
the music was shitty and too loud
bad edit. volume should have been way lower during dialogue. if it was correct you wouldn't notice it
Didnt even notice the music until i read this comment aye.
Agreed
why does iy feel like this review he seems to look at all the positive stuff about the phone but with the g5 he focuses so much on small things he did not like.. just saying..

build quality of g5 does worth the price imo

honestly I wish they still had SD card slot. as I'd love to be able to comfortably store all my music without needed "the cloud' especially when im out and about with poor phone signal and data caps.
The same.. Cloud storage is just an unnecessary inconvenience.. I'd rather have local storage that actually works with me.
It has 64 GB of storage...
all my music is currently at 50gb. 64gb is not enough space for that, then add apps and games and movies/tv shows or what have you. what is wrong with having optional expandable storage?

Guess you guys just have an abnormally large amount of music on your phone. I'm going from a 16GB 5S to 64GB so it's a big jump for me!
I'm not a fan of the background music...
so distracting
It ruins the whole video.
Too loud IMO.
completely agree
LTT's video editors often mismatch music on volume and the energy of the shot
Who else is watching this without socks?

***** either

or make the resolution adjustable, so VR people and pixel heads can be happy, as well as people who want better battery and more speedy performance

Jamie Carranza Doesn't matter! Still you will be using all pixels and power consumption will remain same for the screen. It's kind of concerning that Linus didn't at all mention battery life...
I only watch Linus's videos just to watch his point of view about it, whereas if I wanted a comprehensive phone review I'd watch channels like Android Authority, where phone reviews are their forte.
but he did. 5:45
+Yay295 No, he didn't. All he mentioned was the battery size and how fast it could charge.
Oh yeah, Linus usually picks on the battery alot.
It's got a 3000mAh battery, so there's not much to really say. Battery life was very good and I never ran out while using it. I didn't use the ambient display feature, though.
You're right that it merited a mention.
Yo Linus, what other 5 1/2 inches have you held? 😉
Are you sure it is the most confident 5.5 inches you have ever held?... lol!
I caught that too xF
+AR Mohamed xD
Comfortable not confident wtf xD
Didn't know somebody was thinking what I thought. Lol
When this exists, why would you ever buy an iPhone?
Only Isheep buy Iphones.
When you live in Australia. They sell it in Malta, Vietnam and many more regions, but they don't sell it in Australia.
And they don't sell it too in Indonesia. Thanks to my country's policy.

Can anyone explain why not having NFC is a bad thing? I've never used mine and always disable it.
Some people use NFC. You are not the only human being on planet earth. Welcome to the real world.

You maybe also want to take a look at Xiaomi, the new Mi5 isn't too shabby either :)
0:24 "Now that he's all GROWED up" lmfao!!! XD
I'm telling you right now oneplus if you want someone to review your phone during production or experimental production bring linus with you.
+WOPPER You do realise this isn't an $800 phone right? It can't have everything Samsung phones have.
+WOPPER And I chose Samsung for the example because everyone is comparing this phone to the Galaxy S7.
watching this on the onplus one 😂
Watching this on the 2
Watching this on the 3... LOL jokes iPhone 5 still
Aww
not really ;)
same here :)
Any reason why he keeps dipping his right hand under the table??
***** lol never seen that before. It was throwing me off.
He's checking to see if this is really the most comfortable 5.5 inches he's ever held.
Daniel Wallace savage hahaha 😂😂😂
Loool
Nnamdi Jideani He is holding his 5 and a half inches
anyone know what back does the phone have ? it doesn`t seem like a cover but neither it is the original back. if it`s a cover what cover is it ? thanks.
Dbrand skin.
+Nookiezilla on Alu
Bibis Product Placements I know?
+Nookiezilla yeah, but +codemasterz maybe not...
+Bibis Products Placements
But you repylied directly to +Nookiezilla.
Linus said, "That is the most comfortable 5.5 inches I've had ever held thanks to the rounded edges". People can get some different ideas from that too :P
2:27 😂😂😂😂😉😉😉
😂😂😂😂
HHAHAHAHAhahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2:13 that's what she said
*lenny face* Sorry on mobile I don't have a version of the copy paste lenny
*lenny face* Sorry on mobile I don't have a version of the copy paste lenny

I snorted a little at that.
*insert dick joke here

Fits like a glove!
that music is obnoxious as hell...
yeah, not a big fan of the music in the background
If it was a little less loud maybe...
Sounds a bit like a porn clip music
not a fan of disco?
+Spektrik that's disco?shit,no wonder it died
6:38 16 mp front camera?
OK Linus - So out of the choice of this, the S7/Edge and the Z5 Premium, which wins if cost wasn't in the equation?
+Isolated Thinker for me the s7 is a no-brainer if cost isn't a factor because the size is much easier for me to handle.
LinusTechTips
I've got a similar issue. I'm currently near the end of my contract with my Z3+, and even though the Z5 is something like 5mm taller, it feels more awkard to wield. THAT SAID...I like that sony keeps their UI vanilla. Touchwiz scares me. lol
Where did you get that black skin on the back from? +LinusTechTips
touchwiz became much better compared to what it once was. i would use anyway a custom launcher on any device (nova/smart3)
+Saptarshi Das dbrand
Background music in the beginning is too loud.
2:20 "most comfortable 5 and half inches I have EVER held" ayyyyyyy
Onepluse 3 ........
HAS A BETTER CPU AND RAM THAN MY FUCKING LAPTOP I USE.......
(its a school laptop but what ever)
cpu's on phones and conouters arent really comparable when it comes to the ghz. phones always use passive cooling while a conputer uses air cooling
Lol same fam I have 4gbs of ram 😂😂😂
+Jürgen Ruut knowledge
+MSWindowsinside That works too
Jesus f***ing christ, 6GB RAM?!
Chinese brands love making crazy features for attention
There is a saying in China that 1080p and 2k make so little difference, and giving up 2k can make better battery life. But memory issue exists.
6 gb probably contributes a lot to os smoothness and games
+Grey Valentine Ram has nothing to do with screen resolution and having to much doesnt hurt the phone anyway
axon 7 is even better
The last time I was this early, there were only two genders
There are only 2 genders , despite what tumbler will tell you.
+Andrew Joy I'm going to tell Tumblr about this.
WARNING: THERE HAS BEEN A HAZARDOUS WASTE SPILL IN THE AREA. ALL SURROUNDING BUILDINGS MUST BE EVACUATED IMMEDIATELY.
the music vs voice levels in this video are really good, Love the music too :D
Well this seems like an awesome phone for the price. However since ordering it I have been having trouble with getting their cases as they are out of stock as well as not getting any news of when they will be in stock. Furthermore it seem to take ages to even ship out my phone. (Compared to other retailers its been 4 days and its still not sent out yet). Just warning anyone who is looking to buy one
PS Everyone just keep re-posting the same shitty comment quoting Linus hoping to be on top and not saying anything important at all.
Thanks for the contribution. The main thing I despise about the tech field is the immaturity and social dissonance that most people display. It was kinda funny the first time, not so much every other time.
the most comfortable 5 and a half inches you ever held, apart from luke.
Ya forgot the NFC mate xD
But fr tho, people would want that phone and expect it to become a reality but even if that did happen, the cost would be too high and people wouldn't end up buying but instead just dreaming and hoping one day they'll get it.
I just realized.... "Tri force fuckware" xD Im dying fam
7:40 In OP3 defense, you don't have to go to the side menu to switch to video mode. You can just swipe vertically on the screen to switch between modes.
I would buy...except it doesn't work on Verizon.
Also, music is too loud and terrible.
Verizon sucks
same. sprint dont work either :(
Chippinganimal sprint sucks
why doesn't it work , sorry I am not from the US ?
There is a bug crawling on the table at 5:41 IS IT SOME HINT? :D
Where can i find the backplate?
I just cant seem to find it. The only one i found was the cover. Not this slim skin
What is the name of the back of his? Can't seem to find sandstone :i
+Jaxstyle I don't think that he used Sandstone. Probably matte black.
Safe yourself some time and don't look below, there are only some people talking about sex jokes
***** Below the video...
1+3=4 Thank me later
Wow I feel like I should almost have waited before getting my oneplus 2. Well I'm happy with it so whatever
me too!
Yeah same!
I know, they finally added NFC not a deal breaker when I bought the OP2 but it's an awesome feature. Overall I have really enjoyed the phone but OP3 seems like a big improvement over the OP1 and OP2, nonetheless, these are two great phones
That's why I don't change phones to often
Yeah same, but honestly, after the multiple software update the OP2 had, it seems to have almost all the same features, and runs just as smoothly.
I really liked your oneplus 3 review keep up the good work 😬😬😬 definitely earned my subscription 👍🏾👍🏾
Why is his black, its nice!
It's a Dbrand skin.
They sell it in black and in gold.
Just wished it worked on verzion :(
yea I'm sad about that, oneplus 4?
Ayyyy we got the Moto Z tho ;)
+NerdTechGames Inc HOW?!???
+NerdTechGames Inc what is that
+Eli Song he meant custom order not costume lol
"the answer is 4" ... oneplus 3.... xD
oh. ohhhhhh i was wondering what they meant by that. no seriously hahaha
Great video! Background music was fantastic. Fits perfectly with a awesome phone :)
Is it really the most comfortable 5.5 inches you've ever held? :)
Loose the damn dbrand skins, please, for the love of god. You're doing a massive disservice to this phone, even with your positive review.
Dbrand gives them the phones for them to review
What are you going to do, it is shit product placement.
then go ahead and send them the phone so Dbrand doesn't :)
Dbrand skin looks good. it doesnt look so much like a HTC or iphone with it. come on the its external design is generic
Really wish they would show the phone BEFORE and after the skin. Heck, show the skinning process!
prefer this than an iphone
Your review was, by far, the best I've seen.
I sometimes binge watch tech reviews and yours is as entertaining as is insightful. Very well done. You've got yourself a subscriber :)
no sd card = No purchase
Wondering about this, being a phone noob - Ain't 64 gigs of ram more than you could ever use? Or do you really need more storage.
So for that purpose I use another external 64gb sd card.
ah thanks! yea I tend to delete all my old stuff, but if you are more pro about it, and wanting to keep old things its needed when its...4k? video.
Hello there!! what kind of cover is that on One plus 3, Love from India
hes using dbrand skin
H_E'Z do you know the combination he USED?
oozeman - Minecraft Graphics! I think its material dark or something check dbrand.com
H_E'Z I know dbrand, but is the colour of the phone used black or gold?
oozeman - Minecraft Graphics! Black ofc
I watched the video but I don't think he talked about battery life?
He did, it's 3,00mah and has better charging called dash charge
but that doesn't tell how long the battery actually lasts
+David Hager 4-5 hours screen on time and charges 60% in 30 minutes
Marshall Morgan 4-5 hours?! I get 2 and a half max on my nexus 5!!!!
David Hager lmao i get about 3hrs on my G3 with 3,000mah
Linus, a correction needs to be made in the video. In the quick rundown of some of the specs, you stated that the front camera is 16 megapixels, which is not correct. It's 8MP. The rear camera is the one with 16 megapixels. I personally found it odd to highlight the front camera, since you already did it once, and I found the megapixel count oddly high with the front camera, and therefore questioned it. Looking at the specs reveals the above information.
2:23 lulz
Savage
thats what she said!
I was hoping someone else noticed that hahahah
"i-catching phone". I see what you did there Linus
great review - what weather app is that
OnePlus lost me at "...no microSD card slot..."
64 GB man on the base model. Do you seriously need more? Lmao
+Erwin Klaseboer ikr
You might, if you wanted to use it to store movies to watch, or as a portable DAC over OTG as a Music player, you could totally use up 64GB.
Why would anyone take RAW videos/pics with a flapping phone.
Front facing is 16mp??.. What??
He's a lame reviewer his background music/ cam visuals sucks & he made an error in the video its 16mp rear camera & 8mp front camera
It is a shame it does not support Verizon's 4G LTE coverage, if it did, I would have bought one
Me too.
None of them really work on Verizon, but I also think Verizon doesn't really like off contract phones.
+Baddog Gaming yeah I've noticed that! if their reception wasn't as good as it is l would be upset!
silly americans with their weird non standard bandwidths
+tjeulink every country has its quirks, they are run by humans so of course they are going the be flawed
Love your review, comprehensive, clear, and not at all boring!
Please no more background music. It's too distracting
"When it's all grown up" Pls Linus... Its only four. Do you even math breh?
But that makes it 20 in phone years
+agafaba Ooooooh... So that's how it goes!
It is technology..not living thing.
actually he said "growed up" lol it sounded so wrong
BAMB00STER4EVER hahahaha lmao xD
1 + 3 = 4
Really?
How you keep so much enthusiasm in your videos is amazing
Stop hiding phones with skins in REVIEWS for the sake of sponsorship. At least not in reviews for heavens sake!
It's just what dbrand has asked for and they have to do it to get review units and make money
1) if they didnt put a skin on it, they wouldnt have a sponsorship, and there would be no phone reviews
2) the review is of the phone, so why do you even care if it has a skin or not
3) LTT needs sponsors, so if you dont want them to have sponsors then go ahead and pay them yourself the $50000/month it takes to run a business and then you can stfu
Dont let them use you, your review style tbh is one of the best out there.
i mean
if you really care about whether or not the phone has fucking skin on it or not you can go watch another channel
i for one love dbrand skins, so. to each his own.
Watching on my Oneplus 3T 😂
One plus 6t is available now ... [ December 2018]
6t for me
Even more comfortable than Luke's 5.5 inches?
@2:20 "The most comfortable 5 and a half inches I have every held" lol gooood onnnneee
You know why I love Linus? Most of his videos have an even number at the end.
Guy, where did you get the protective case? Very nice.
"the most comfortable 5.5inches I have held in my hands".... lmao 😂😂😂... I highly doubt that's true Mr.Reviewer... this was hilarious... can't stop lol
great review as usual,
BUT OMG THE EDITORS did a mental job on this one!!! Keep it up!
The most honest and elaborate OP3 review posted so far. Thanks. Cheers!!!!!!
what stand was Linus using at the start of the video for his phone?
You can get the OP3 for 400€ and the G5 for 430€ at the moment where I live. What do you reckon? I am pretty interested in the wide camera of the G5 and it is a bit smaller, also other reviews didn't trash the lowlight performance like you did. On the other side the OP3 seems to have a less awkward beta product build quality and the developer/ROM support seems to be way better with Oneplus devices.
Good review, thank you.
I think you can switch from photo to video with an up or down swipe directly, so not necessary to open the menu from the left.
Hey Linus, cool review! Just wondering if you also measured the heat from the charging cubes for the HTC 10 and the Oneplus 3. They did look light up so I wondered if you checked that as well. Cheers!
great video... the back cover looks awesome... does dbrand ships to India really inclined to have that cover for myself.. any idea guys?
