Hollow Knight: Absolute Radiance boss fight. Requires you to fight through a boss rush of 45 hard mode boss fights just to reach it (which you can only do by completing other similar boss rushes). Failing at any point forces a restart of the entire thing. Absolute Radiance then turns this Metroidvania into a bullet hell, and is by far the hardest fight in the game. By this point you’ve also been fighting a very long time, and are probably running on adrenaline and the fear of failing, which doesn’t help. I found this very challenging, and think it deserves a place on this list!

A LOT of Terraria bosses have a chance to appear without being summoned. There are also things you can do in the world that can unexpectedly and inadvertently summon them. It's usually a low chance, but man does it make you shit yourself when you aren't prepared and are in a particularly bad location for it.
To mention, regarding the bloodborne old dog, the chalice dungeons don't scale with ng cycles. Also, the defiled chalice where you have half hp isn't the wrost one. There is one I remember being a 75% hp reduction. And if you're feeling really courageous, there is the glitched chalice that is a 99% reduction. Have fun with anything in there.
I personally had more trouble out of the damn darkbeast in the defiled dungeon but the whole thing was rough. I also noticed in star fox they didn’t cheese the eyes by shooting a bomb at the right time and destroying both eyes as soon as they come out, makes the boss way easier
In the defiled chalice dungeons you actually get like 50% physical damage resistance. However that defense boost dosent extent to elemental and arcane damage, which is why those bosses are that much of a threat

So glad that I got the platinum on FF7 Remake. One of the trophies requires that you complete it on hard mode, something i wouldn't have bothered with otherwise, & it's just SOOOOOO much better on hard mode. I'm Surprised you didn't mention Smash Bros for Wii U. After weakening both Hands on higher difficulties Crazy hand erupts into 4 more forms AND on levels 8-9 he transforms into "Master Fortress". And since every continue results in a forced lowering of difficulty, there is a good chance that you will only get one shot at the Fortress without having to restart classic mode all over again. The Fortress is a hazard filled maze that requires accurate platforming while fighting off shadowy enemies AND the clock as you search for 4 weak points. Damn.
As much as I enjoyed Starfox 64, I could never get to the true boss. It's not that it was difficult, even as an elementary school kid, but something about staring into an endless abyss of emptiness in space really gives me some sort of variation of vertigo. It makes me anxious and nauseous. Same reason why I can't play many space-flight games, or games like Subnautica. And then one time, playing with just my brother, we got two at the same time and then spent the next 40 minutes chipping away health, dying, damage a bit, die, damage, die... Fun times.
Hades with most extreme measures was pretty tricky. Three full health bars, all new movesets, and multiple armored enemy spawns. Barely beat that goliath.
Never got far on the original contras, but Neo Contra. Man that was tough to get to the final boss. I don't even know if I actually beat the final level because not only do you have to play on hard, you have to hit s rank on each mission
I've played Star Fox 64 more times than I can count. But I've never fought Andros' brain before. I've fought the robotic version (and frankly I still don't know how I got that one and not the normal one.) Now I need to go back and try to get the Brain fight.
My first Bloodborne playthrough, it didn't take me more than 4 tries to defeat any boss. Most I got on the first try. Watchdog of the Old Lords in the Defiled Chalice took an entire day and 40+ tries. It requires a near perfect fight against a very big and aggressive boss. It's brutal.
Most of the time the devs can play the game they created on the hardest difficulty they created with little to no issue, when you see E3 gameplay it's normally just a QA tester playing and they aren't the best
There is speculation that Galacta Knight is actually what Kirby is destined to become once he grows up, much like how Meta Knight is in fact just an adult member of Kirby's species. When Meta Knight asks Nova to fight the strongest warrior in the galaxy in Superstar Ultra, Nova sends him to fight Galacta Knight instead of Kirby. Kirby is the strongest character in the Kirby universe, so the only reason this would be is if Galacta Knight is (or could be) what Kirby becomes.
Oh after you complete Star Fox 64 you get Star Fox with sunglasses and a bonus music menu and a few bonus multiplayer maps. To get this mode you have to play legitimately and you can't access it through the GameShark however the game shark does give you a lot but it's not really fun because considering at the end of the day you're just ruining the leaderboards for yourself.
With Contra 3 I guess it depends what you class as the 'final boss'. The brain thing can be fought on easy, it just has less attack options. Only by playing on hard do you get chased exiting the tunnel and even then it's basically the same enemy.
that fight with Bahamut and ifrit makes pride and joy like a stupid Bot (I had nightmare about it😂) but I got the platinum in it and I still proud with my self for having it
I would have thought the smash bros rep would be master core/master fortress from Smash 4. This boss doesn't appear until around the same difficulty as crazy hand, then has 5 forms depending on how high the difficulty is beyond that.
Watchdog of the Old Lords in Defiled Chalice literally made me quit Bloodborne for 5 years before coming back and beating the entire game again, including him, last month lol. Also funny how the footage is him fighting the easy version of the watchdog because that doesn't even come close to showing the utter destruction that damn dog can do in the Defiled Chalice.
The comment about Galacta knight being a cute little pink guy...just shows the parallel between him/her/it and kirby at that point. Capable of beating 12 souped up bosses, you fight someone similar to you at that high skill level
Ninja Gaiden is also a good one. On mid & low difficulty, at a certain point, you refight one of the earlier bosses. On a high difficulty, that fight is changed to a new ridiculously difficult fight.
I'm so glad to see Watchdog of the Old Lords mentioned. I ended up completely giving up on the defiled chalice dungeon after a week of trying to beat that thing.
You should make a video on the most brutal challenges in video games. e.g The pantheon of Halloween nest from hollow knight is insanely hard. Theres like 50+ bosses and you have to fight every single one of them and their powered up versions. You die you have to restart the challenge
Velo, from Crash Nitro Kart while playing as Tiny, or Crunch can be outright cruel at times as well. For an older and favourable game, I hated it playing through that race
(Watches all the way up to #2) Man, these bosses I've never even heard of sound really intense. I wonder what could be tougher than all of them? (reaches #1) Oh...yeah, that makes sense.
I can't see a reason to play this kind of battles. It's like self punishment, self torture. A powerful way to frustrated yourself and giving you a very bad time.
Sans can do only one dmg, BUT, he can negate the invincibility frames of the player and also can do a hit PER frame. The game runs at 30fps meanin in only ONE second he does 30 dmg. This means you only have to get hit for 3.2 seconds to die.
I would argue the amygdala fight in the cursed chalice dg is actually worse, since the dog is predictable, it is tedious and hard but you'll beat him. Amygdala however, is gonna jump at you and you even know it's gonna jump! but the fact that camera automatically looses focus on the jump + the range of its attack is gonna make your survival almost random xD
It always amazes me when someone puts a beast as the hardest bloodborne boss. Beasts are way harder if you panic, and way, way easier if you are calm and collected and using beast hunting gear. They basically punish you for not being familiar enough with the games mechanics. Some bosses, like Amygdala in the same chalice dungeon, are hard as nails no matter how you approach them. They don't have a weakness, and no amount of focus will make the fight any shorter or less stressful. Where as you CAN cheese the Watchdog, even if he was hard for you.
Amygdala in the defiled chalice dungeon isn't that bad if you just play patiently. Basically using the same tactics that you describe when fighting the beasts. And yes, focus does help.
Terraria Tip: Play on Expert Sure it’s harder and new players with curse my name until their dying day, but those rewards are worth it. You’ll adjust to the gank... eventually.
I'm proud of my Bloodborne Platinum because I beat the Defiled Dungeon by myself. No one unless you pay them is willing to go through that hell of a dungeon help someone do that dungeon.
I didn't expect you guys to mention Inner Agent 3, kudos. Buuuuut none of that footage was actually against Inner Agent 3, just the regular fight against Agent 3 that happens in the main story.
So, I would agree with Master Hand and Crazy Hand, but not in Ultimate's Classic Mode. The Classic Mode fights don't change based on difficulty, they change on who you play as. Sephiroth, as shown in the footage, always fights them on Northern Cavern Omega, but PacMan's boss is Dracula, Kazuya's is two other versions of himself, Mario's is Gigabowser, Wolf's is Galleom, etc. Master Hand and Crazy Hand in Smash for Wii U, however, change stages based on difficulty and they ultimately become the Master Fortress on 8.0 or higher. Master Fortress is the toughest boss that the game ever throws at you, even going so far as to provide a heart container since it knows you'll fail eventually. THIS version of the Master Hand and Crazy Hand fight is way harder to fight and, unlike the version of the fight in Ultimate, is based on the difficulty you play at.

I've fought the robotic version (and frankly I still don't know how I got that one and not the normal one.)
Now I need to go back and try to get the Brain fight.
I occasionally will rewatch FF7 remake reveal reaction videos. Still gives me chills.
The hard and boss rush modes in return to dreamland make it my favorite Kirby game
It's brutal.
wow! Contra!! floods of nostalgia hitting me har
didn't know the bosses even had names lol
Oh those videos of people beating title defense mode and DK blindfolded are crazy impressive
“Especially on new game plus”
Bloodborne chalice dungeons aren’t affected by NG cycle.
Classic case of not checking facts, just get the content out smh
@@nlikeflynn8837 What is this, Fox News? lol
In that case it's way easier haha if you leveled up to 200
The chalice dungeon bosses in bloodborne don’t scale with new game plus. They stay at the same level no matter how many play throughs you do
Awesome and perfect😀.
The way Falcon says Midgar.... Priceless.😂
Fun fact: most people on the comments now haven't even watched the whole video yet.. neither do I
+1
Nope 3 secs in
That's a lie
I Did
Nah
Sakurai plays Smash Bros. on the hardest difficulty casually
Most of the time the devs can play the game they created on the hardest difficulty they created with little to no issue, when you see E3 gameplay it's normally just a QA tester playing and they aren't the best
Let’s not forget the true boss of every metal gear solid game, Hideo Kohima
There is speculation that Galacta Knight is actually what Kirby is destined to become once he grows up, much like how Meta Knight is in fact just an adult member of Kirby's species.
When Meta Knight asks Nova to fight the strongest warrior in the galaxy in Superstar Ultra, Nova sends him to fight Galacta Knight instead of Kirby. Kirby is the strongest character in the Kirby universe, so the only reason this would be is if Galacta Knight is (or could be) what Kirby becomes.
Kirby is EXACTLY where i expect secret bosses. After Super Star Ultra this became standard
Pride and Joy Prototype was pretty damn easy. Bahamut + Ifrit was much more difficult, even if you knew what to do properly.
that fight with Bahamut and ifrit makes pride and joy like a stupid Bot (I had nightmare about it😂) but I got the platinum in it and I still proud with my self for having it
I would have thought the smash bros rep would be master core/master fortress from Smash 4.
Everyone always says the watchdog in Bloodborne is the worst, but the chalice dungeon giant with the chain hook drove me insane! Took me a month.
Wild arms 3…when you start drilling down into the depths of the planet… damn
1 mistake: ng+ DON'T AFFECT the difficulty of the chalice dungeons
In Gunstar Heroes for the Genesis/Megadrive you can only fight all forms of Seven Force on the Expert setting.
You should make a video on the most brutal challenges in video games.
e.g The pantheon of Halloween nest from hollow knight is insanely hard. Theres like 50+ bosses and you have to fight every single one of them and their powered up versions. You die you have to restart the challenge
Blood borne: cuts your health in half for only one section of the game
Demons souls: hold my beer
*hold my estus
@@ShikariHybryd *Hold my full moon grass
Velo, from Crash Nitro Kart while playing as Tiny, or Crunch can be outright cruel at times as well. For an older and favourable game, I hated it playing through that race
They showed the regular agent 3 fight. Trust that the inner version is basically playing vs a hacker
(Watches all the way up to #2)
Man, these bosses I've never even heard of sound really intense. I wonder what could be tougher than all of them?
(reaches #1)
Oh...yeah, that makes sense.
Terraria Tip: Play on Expert
Sure it’s harder and new players with curse my name until their dying day, but those rewards are worth it. You’ll adjust to the gank... eventually.
when are we gonna acknowledge that falcon literally is illiterate
"Suffis to say" lol poor falcon needs hooked on phonics
0:03 Glad to see Armstrong here
I'm proud of my Bloodborne Platinum because I beat the Defiled Dungeon by myself. No one unless you pay them is willing to go through that hell of a dungeon help someone do that dungeon.
Sae, the main boss in Fatal Frame 2, can only be fought in hard mode. And it’s a two for one boss too 😬
Chalice dungeons don't scale with ng+
I didn't expect you guys to mention Inner Agent 3, kudos. Buuuuut none of that footage was actually against Inner Agent 3, just the regular fight against Agent 3 that happens in the main story.
Guess Gameranx haven’t played any Tri-Ace games.
Never heard of tri-ace before. What kind of games are they?
That worm creature from borderlands 2
I got earlier on every gameranx video the last weeks.
'TWAS OBVIOUS I ONCE WOULD BECOME.... Well... Not a Viewer actually because I'm the first on this video, thus making me a superior being on this website.
Too many Anime games and videos lul. Happy to be here, happy to be early. Happy to enjoy another gameranx video. I LOVEEEE YOUR QUALITY, GUYS!
What a surprise, but its satisfying when you beat them after a year or 3.
