This is what end game looks like, something for us to aspire to once we have many years of professional experience behind us.
Good god this was beautiful. Your production value is just second to none Adam and I will definitely be treating myself to a few of these items. Beautiful setup and filming man
Minimalist and CLEAN. Makes my traditional painting studio space look like a trash dump XD My mindset is ADHD, and my workspace is chaos meets inspiration.
I feel like this may be a lot of us, lol😂
Why do people always use ADHD as a synonym for chaotic? It isnt.
The annoying thing about ADHD is that you want the clean organised space and it helps, but you spend days organising and in 5 minutes is trash and chaos, I don't know how it happens.
I'm typing this while I'm organising and cleaning my workspace at 3 AM.
@@dnlurpiabecause to a lot of people it is, it doesn't necessarily need to be but it is common enough.
Jesus dude this setup goes hard. Great production quality. I’m doing one of these tomorrow but yours looks better !
Have said it, will say it again: I love your clean and yet very moody setup so much. Right before your space flooded, I began to take down all the stuff from the walls, created additional desk space and shelving, which allowed me to finally mount my Huion to my desk and give everything its place and there is no clutter you have to move from A to B every time. And there's still cat-space for Bear to lay in his favourite corner of the desk and have his naps. Greetings to Gimli, he's so precious
I can entirely appreciate every word that you just shared. I'm feeling that too with my new much freer space. I didn't realize just how much clutter there was until I started moving pieces out and consolidating everything into fewer and fewer items. It's also had a profound impact on my video production - setting up and shooting videos doesn't require me to rearrange my studio to find space for a shot - now I just point and shoot - eash-peasy :) Thank you again for being so awesome Lex
@@AdamDuffArt Yeees!! Makes workflow so much easier if things are already in place and you can start immediately. And just like noise and music, my space affects my mood and my mind so much, that the new clean and cozy vibe lead to mental detox, more clarity and - most importantly - harmony and peace :)
Great video! Thanks for sharing your workspace philosophy.
Thanks for sharing with us your setup. Now I clearly understand what I need and how to organize everything more healthy. I'm sitting like a shrimp currently
Glad you've found your balance for a setup Adam. And the cat is very much essential too!
Such a perfectly balanced setup that you truly made your own. Outstanding video, Adam 💯
Wow maybe your best yet! I appreciate the focus and mindfulness around the jobs to be done.
Great timing for this video as I'm about to make a huge office change! Going to go to a standing desk and I've been working on getting my desk free of clutter and downsizing too. Of course, my cat (Twitch) likes to lay on the keyboard but I like to think he's trying to be helpful :) Love to see your set-up and how you get into the working mind space!
What a beautiful video - superb aesthetics, bravo
So much zen vibes to watch this 😍 So beautiful artist setup😍
I can hear the water stream of the zen fountain and the bells ringing by the wind.(It's a metaphor. Not really)
@@conchesodan what? 🤨
Your Intros and text are always very elegant, would love to see a video on your video editing techniques and how you use final cut pro tips on color grading and all that. Great video as always. please keep up the good work..
tabby on the front, reference monitor on my right, keyboard at the bottom, yep thats exactly my setup. I use a 12 button MMO mouse to bind all my stuff so dont need that multikey thing. its a great setup
I pretty much missed everything after the word "tabby" - it was "tabby..buabuabuabua...bua bua.. I just kept picturing your little friend and everything else just got lost on me lol.
Beautiful mahn. 👏🏼
Man! Looks amazing! Only by watching I get quiet and focused. Thx for sharing😊
This is the dream setup I’ll never have! Thanks for sharing. 😊
Always love seeing how different artists set up their workspace. Great work!
love the clean space! As clean as it can be when working in many fields :P
I prefer mine a Flame of Frenzy style setup where everything is in chaos, and yellow.
If I were to review my own studio it’ll just be a glorious 10 minute reel of my belly
I like the LED strip along your desk edge. ❤
That looks great. 😍
I'm doing up my little art studio room at the moment, but it's not going to be near as clean as this, Haha. But, it's a small room where I've fit two desks that can lift to be standing desks. One is for my new PC so I can get creative digitally and maybe finally give Elden Ring a try ;), and the other will be a traditional art desk where I can draw, watercolor and make a nice big mess.
Really love your setup though, if I was more of a professional I'd probably opt for a lot of that gear as well, but alas, my setup will be perfect for me. Cheers. :)
beautiful workspace and presentation
That wacom stand is perfect for a feline friend to rest next to-- I'm assuming the tablet gets a little warm after a few hours, too (bonus for gimli!)
Adam, you heard about Emil Farris and her comic My favorite thing is monsters? Just an incredible story. Would you consider making a video about her history?
The huh duhs six hungos by ol' mate senny!
beautiful set-up
do you speak like that off camera too? LMAO inspirational
This is very beautiful but seems also very expensive. I know, i know how it sounds. All great ideas but just top budget area.
Different topic: How do you built in your daily work the standing desk ritual? I have one mechanical standing desk as well but never really use it
It's nice to see Tom Buck hidden cameo too :D 3:10
4:53 would you look at that he's got the HUH DUH SIX HUNGE-O's from OL MATE SENN'
nice set up Adam. what is the under desk keyboard stand you have? bonus points for having a space for kitty
All these kinda videos I find always leave out the important things D:
"this allows the cintiq to be positioned at a perfect viewing angle"
okay, what angle? why is it the perfect one? How much are you looking down/up from where you are sitting (sadly not visible in the video even though one can maybe estimate from the neck up, your body angle, and the angle of the tablet)
How does bodyheight/deskheight/etc influence that
things like that
What happened to the studio displays from your previous videos? Or maybe as a more general question: Can you make a video about why you made changes compared to previous iterations and which parts of the equipment did not stand the test of time? I feel that understanding what did not work as intended would be very helpful.
Also, it‘s a beautiful and functional setup as always. Love your style.
Niiiice
Swag.
Im surprised hes using the Cintiq 27QHD; he's seemed to really like the Kamvas 24 he reviewed a little before this. I got since he's got the more expensive one he'll use that instead 🤣
I loved the Kamvas but the Cintiq felt a little more familiar to me so I held on to it
That said, my Cintiq has been in storage for a few weeks now - I’ve been daily driving the Huion Kamvas Pro 19 and honestly - I’m not missing my Cintiq
I'm guessing the American Psycho omage was intentional?😅
How kind of El Gato company they sent you a fury companion (Gimli) as well🫶
Honestly, after the floading, I am glad you took it well to renovate the studio to your taste and comfort!
I am impressed, it looks like a dream studio!
Thank you for flexing on me for 7 mins and 36 seconds
YOUR CAT’S NAME IS GIMLI I could die
It may be elegant, ergonomic but let's be honest that this it's far, far from being minimalistic. This is hi-end costly gear.
Ask all the students and beginners who use old Wacom Bamboo Pen, an old laptop and cheapest headphones what minimalism is :)
Yes indeed - you're making a very good point. Some of this gear is expensive - but swappable with more affordable options (save a few exceptions of course). I traded in more quantity with less quality - I get a better job done with less clutter. But a budget option setup is definitely worth exploring - I'm receiving an XP-Pen soon for review and you've just given me a great idea.
Ergo Duff
This is the least minimalistic setup I have seen. lol

Me, sitting hovered like Quasimodo over my cintiq.... Def need to get a stand/arm for it...Beautiful setup Adam!
Oh for sure, that's a top priority if you plan on having a healthy back and neck as an artist for many years. You want to sit or stand nice and tall with a straight neck and back - otherwise that WILL catch up with you. I want you to live a pain-free life my friend!!
@@AdamDuffArt Aw, thank you brother! Unfortunately after so many years, def caught on with me, but stretching daily and few massages here and there def help.
Thank you for all your work Adam, listening to you for quite some time, helps alot along learning new things about our craft and ourselves even after so many years of doing it.
Wish you and your family the best, keep up the damn great work 🤗!
@@AdamDuffArt Ah, got into writing mode like an old grandma and forgot the question 😄. Between the one you've got and the arm, which one you'd recommend for a 24? Asking since both of them are well, pricey...
