Interesting project, Brinegar! For me, I simply place a few buckets filled with water outside, throw in a bunch of vegetable leaves once in a while, and that's it. I manage to have a daphnia culture living well, although not in large quantities.
Dear Bo: Of course, Daphnia will eat a plethora of microbes. They will also consume yeast and spirulina, in solution. This, particular bug, is supposed to be their, favorite fare. So far, I'm very pleased, with my purchase. Thank you, for your, continued support. All my best, Sincerely, Brinegar
Dear Paul: I do want to share my experience, with what works, in the hobby. This is the best way I've found, to culture "green water." Thank you, for your, continued help and encouragement. All my best, Sincerely, Brinegar
Dear Ali: I had a look, at your, UA-cam Channel. You have some, fantastic aquaria, with healthy, happy pets and plants. I’d love to see some videos, of your work. I don’t usually look at “shorts.” Will you please post a video, describing some of your hobby? I’ve subscribed, in hopes of seeing this. Thank you, for your support. All my best, Sincerely, Brinegar
@@ejbrinegar Dear E.J. Thank you so much ! It means a lot And coming from you its a great motivation for me.. Yes i am gonna post actual videos too about all my aquariums , plants , fishes , loaches and shrimps.. I am growing and learning , stay tuned ❤️
@@ejbrinegar Surely this month you will be seeing them Just joined youtube 15 days back Last night my cherry shrimp laid many shrimplets So quite a load saving them from my neon tetras and raising them up😜 Love And Regards Ali Aqua Diaries
Dear Ali: Oh, I didn’t realize you only recently started your, UA-cam Channel. On the About section, of your Channel it says, “Joined Mar 17, 2012.” I thought this indicated you had been YouTubing, for nearly 11 years! Although they are best kept in a “shrimp only” tank, cherry shrimp are so prolific, I have them, in several tanks, with fish, and they keep their colonies going. A “shrimp only” tank isn’t very interesting, as shrimp don’t tend to move about, as much as fish. For me, FishFam videos are quite interesting, if the aquarist is knowledgeable and has a “teachable spirit.” I tend to ignore “shorts” and avoid the work, of UA-camrs, who insist on doing things “their way,” even when I advise them, that I’ve tried it that way, only to find that it doesn’t work. Thank you, for your support. Sincerely, Brinegar
