    This is probably the best demo of this pedal I've seen so far! Thanks for really showing the features off wonderfully. The loop at the end with multiple delay types is quite impressive. Great playing and sounds too, thanks!

    Where this beats everything for me is the ability to loop with the effect. For someone who jams at home, relying on delay for jamming has always meant no delay, which defeats the point

      I've got one, honestly you could make an hour long video just dabbling the controls thru every effect and each one's 2 parameter knobs and still not be done. Not to mention the tap tempo feature with the tap division box added in for different time signatures.

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  5 років тому +2

      Hello, Jeff! The Canyon would work just fine with the SH-01. You can just run it in line between your SH-01 and whatever you monitor through (mixer, recording interface, speaker, etc.).
      Thanks for the interest!

      I would consider getting a better synth. Usually Roland does really well, but I never liked that synth. I just ordered this pedal and I wonder how it’s gonna sound with my little digital and analogue synths that have no FX. To me the Gaia failed at sounding analog when it was supposed to sound analog on some wave forms. Maybe I just didn’t use it right though or it’s just a personal preference in sound. I think more demos should be made with these types of pedals with synths.

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  5 років тому +6

      Hey, John. Thanks for your question, appreciate you reaching out to us. Depending on the mode, the Grand Canyon pedal either has DSP Bypass in TAILS mode (which allows the effect to continue when bypassed) or Analog Buffered (True) Bypass when TAILS mode is disabled.
      Please contact me direct if I haven't answered your question completely.

    Has anyone had both the Grand Canyon and the Timeline? Wondering which one to get. I don’t have any delay pedals in my board at the moment.

    • @sweetwater
      @sweetwater  5 років тому +4

      Hello, Constance! There are similar effect types on both pedals, and either is a great addition to your board. They're about the same size and allow for use of an expression pedal/footswitch, too. While the GC has storage for 13 presets, they're not MIDI addressable. It also includes an onboard reverb. The Timeline allows 200 presets to be stored, MIDI program change, and continuous control, and is true stereo.
      So much more to discuss on both, but we have limited space here. Please contact me for more details and I'll help you select the best option. Thanks again for your question.
