Really enjoyed the content of this episode, something different to shake things up. Also some cool stuff in the gallery. Wiener Circle Hot Dogs in Chicago has a great Chocolate Milk Shake if you are not a fan of Chicago style hot dogs. ;)
Love Tremors! I've seen all 7 movies and watched the SciFi TV series. The kit looks cool. There really isn't that many kits from the series at all. What kits their were, were produced 20 years ago and are hard to find. Agree, tomato soup isn't real soup. I eat my grilled cheese with cream of mushroom soup. Glue - styrene I am still Testor's tube glue for life. For resin / vinyl I love the loctite epoxy. If I need super glue for something quick, or to hold something until the epoxy sets, then I use those mini tubes that come in a 5 pack at Dollar Tree. It's the perfect size for a single project and you don't have to worry about it drying out. I've even had some partial tubes that were still usable after being open for a week or so. Hotdogs are gross. All beef hotdogs are bearable. Deep fried beef hotdogs are good. The only way I can eat hotdogs are burned on a grill, or over a fire, then covered with ketchup or BBQ sauce. Kit I most regret not buying - the Perna Goblin King. Passed it up at WF 2006. Molds burned out shortly after that. Never available again. I started using the Mr Surfacer primers and they are amazing for priming small stuff. That is all I will use now for anything 1/12 or smaller. I am currently trying to find a new primer. I just killed my last can of gray Kmart primer :( Loved that primer, went on smooth and thin and was like $2 a can. Rustoleum is too thick. It floods the piece. Krylon is better, but harder for me to find. Still not as nice as my old primer. Pretty sure some of the guys wholesale to MiM. Over the years, I've heard a few guys mentioning doing that. Fun episode. Did you forget a question, or did I miss it? Pretty sure someone asked when Scott would build and paint a kit.
@@modelclubtv My only excuse on missing the Goblin King is I was still new-ish to GK and thinking $150 was a lot of money for one kit. Also thought it was going to be available longer and I might be able to save up for it. Didn't realize what a pain it was to cast and how quick it would tear up the molds.
A friend of mine told me he puts a bit of 3n1 oil on the applicator of the super glue( wiped on with a cloth) and it keeps it from gluing itself to the cap. I tried it, it works!
Hi Guys. Do you consider Billiken kits garage kits? I remember the Billiken Cyclops and She Creature and they were the first kit I saw that got me into modeling.
I don’t know who that Leaky Lee is that wrote to you, but I do know Leaky Lee did the old song “Little Arrows”. I’ll let you figure out the connection. I’m a a loss???
OK! I can accept a lot of movies that Scott hasn't seen but "Tremors"!?!?! Forever from now on Scott not watching ANY movie is a show trope. Boooooo!!!!! "Pickle Jiz" 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
@@modelclubtv Tremors (1990) is a 34 year old film, almost 35. I believe more that "Cookie Monster" is in fact a sasquatch than Scott saying he has seen or not seen a movie that was made in his lifetime.
Really enjoyed the episode. Good laughs….. thank you both.
Thanks for reading my note and putting these kits to a worthy cause. I hope they bring joy to there new owners
Thank you so much Chuck!! I can't wait to honor your friends and give these kits a new home!

He did answer the building a kit question. I completely agree on the Goblin King! Thank you for reminding me what an idiot I was for passing it up!
