"If Mister Rogers & Mike Rowe had a kid- that's Uncle Mullet." Best compliment ever, but I see more Barney Fife & the skinny cop from Terminator 2! LOL
Lol! You're not wrong... 😂🤣💙💙💙
With a sprinkle of Joe Dirt...AKA the mullet you used to wear 🤪🤣😜
You're right, I hope uncle mullet reads this...wait a minute...
Ehhhh, Mike Rowe sucks though.
You are so empathetic. I've never seen anything like this. You're amazing.
This single video is worth a thousand lessons.
Do a drum cover to the impact. It would be sick
Yes, especially in the world of cancel culture. It gives me hope.
Thank you for your kindness Cousin Kin! Big Love from me & Auntie Mullet.
@@UncleMullet You're truly welcome ❤
I love the attitude you have towards life..
I strive to have the same attitude as you.
Cool Calm and Collected... a true Saint.
Even Jesus Christ agrees
Muhaha. Hey, I saw your vice video few months back, and I loved it. I grew up Mormon too, and I felt very similar to how you did. It's amazing when you are able to see the truth in life.
How are you everywhere Jesus? :O
Same here. I grew up Mormon too. I don't know what it is, but even with a falling out of faith, we still tend to be very moral people who want to help others.
That's why if I ever have kids, I'm going to raise them in the Church even if it isn't the absolute truth according to history and science.
They can figure it out on their own like I did, but they'll learn love and compassion at a young age.
Not a Saint but what a real human being should always be. He just showed us how humans should be on a normal basis with patience, compassion and quick critical thinking.
That is one of the most professionally well handled situations I've seen.
agreed
Huge props for how you handled this.
I expected no insurance when she bolted. Weird that she'd be so freaked out over what amounts to very little. Excellent attitude sir.
Me too! Really underlines how much of her reaction was just adrenaline impairing her judgement, rather than a conscious effort to do the wrong thing. Great video, thank you for sharing.
You never know someone's reason. Could have things on her record already that police would have been aggressive about. Idk. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt.
She seemed young. She probably panicked but he calmed her down. Great job.
@@sandrabyrd3338 no you don't, you just listed a things thats not giving someone the benefit of the doubt
It's human nature, and it is what people needs to understand in social media instead of wanting to hang people like they react perfectly every time. Sometimes people freaks out the same way your dog or your cat gets afraid of its tail and run away. Same way for people acting like they would save someone being attacked in subway, no you don't know, no one knows, even someone who did it in the past doesn't know. It's human nature, we have flaws
A first accident is so scary. The young lady is very lucky to have hit your car that day. I'd like to think she is being kind to someone else who's having a tough day. All because you treated her with such compassion. You deserve your ice cream! Nice hair, too.
Thank you for your compassion and kindness.
This should be mandatory viewing before you get a license. This guy is the best human.
Hey Scott, in all seriousness, you should give a Ted talk if you haven't already... We need more people like you to set examples like this. As others have said, you should run for office... No joke. I know level headed guys like you don't want to, but you're the hero we need... Not the one we deserve
If this guy ran for office half the country would hate him
@@goliatheater67373 I hate whoever the media tells me to.
I don't think I can name a single person who would react the way this man did. I'm blown away. I wish I could say I'd be so calm and collected and understanding.
Your compassion made me cry 😭
He seems like he would be a great teacher.
Such a positive attitude and reaction. I’m glad everyone is okay. Thanks for the video!
This is insane! I have the same white Rav4 ALSO hit and they run on, last week! It was in MY DRIVEWAY.
I found the driver a few blocks down (wasn't hard, they had a white streak down the side of their car and missing the fragments I picked up from my driveway).
Decided not to press charges, exchanged insurance. They were a new and young driver from Ethiopia. I surprised myself as to how friendly I was. Kudos to you.
What a testament to how far a smile , calm, ice cream and a bit of graciousness can take us.
This is the video I needed to see. Thanks Uncle Mullet. Keep being a shining light.
Not sure what else to say other than I am so fortunate to have found your channel. My gosh...what an absolute inspiration!!! Yes!!!
Man...hit me in the feelz with this one...handled it like a champ champ...I thank you!!!
He even helped her with her car!!!
Its as if he's a saint.
Very impressive.
Best of luck.
The world needs more of you!
Humanity first, profound example. Thank you sir, you have my respects from California!!
Thank you for making this video. Today was a bad day for me emotionally(self-hatred, lack of motivation or direction) and this video reminded me of the kind of person I strive to be and why that's important. To see grace in action may be the most beautiful thing in the world. Good Job and thank you, again.
Video of crash in Texas. Naturally Whataburger becomes involved.
And Dairy Queen. "That's what I like about Tex-as!".
He said waterburger. 😂😂
@@privateparker5698 Waterburger is VERY Texan. It's so confusing when Texans take outsiders to the Whataburger pilgrimage and are baffled the how the burger joint is pronounced. "What are these numbers on the ketchup?"
Please share this as much as you can this man deserves it
Hope I can handle future incidents like this.
Actually Id hope not to get caught
I agree. I'll make myself a sticky note and put either on my dashboard or windshield about how to remind myself how to think and act in the future.
I hope you have no future incidents like this
@@jakenator13 haha same here but you never know what life is going to throw at you.
What an absolutely wonderful human being
This whole video gave me a warm fuzzy feeling and I want to thank you for that. First time I stumble across your channel today.
I feel I have so much to learn from you, thanks for existing
Good person. Thank you for this example of empathy.
Thank you so much for sharing. Grace is the hero we don't deserve but we get anyways and you showed amazing grace on that day. Thank you.
You rock UM! This could have been so much worse but you handled it like a champ!
No, thank you. Your video brought tears to my eyes. Your compassion and empathy is exemplary. I hope one day I will get there too. You have a good day sir.
Thank you for your compassion
I will never ever stop loving your incredible example of how everyone should treat each other! You showed genuine love and mercy to the woman who not only hit you, but freaked out and left. However, she also showed remorse and maturity by pulling over and owning her mistake. This is seriously one of the most amazing displays of kindness, forgiveness, mercy, and love I've ever seen! God appreciates it too... 🤗💙
Your heartfelt compassion videos always brings a tear to me.
Wow, way to stay calm and resolve the situation. You just got yourself a new sub!
You impressed me with peace of mind. You are a good person. God bless you. Greetings from Poland!
congrats to the lady too who didn't seem to overreact and just followed what Uncle Mullet was saying!
That was exceptional, a very good lesson.
Wow, you handled this amazingly. Well done.
oh man! having been in two hit and runs myself, where people hit my vehicle and drove away, i can understand the instinct, the other party would have gone through. I hope i don't, but if I ever get into a situation like yours, i will surely remember this calm and collective response!
This made it to the front page of Reddit, Thank you for being such a wonderful person.
Glad everyones ok....Love the vids....Hi back to Christine
What an undisputed pro. I'm in awe at how well you handled that whole situation
The world needs more kindness and compassion. A lesson learned for me.
Man this makes me so happy to see, I was prepared for another public freakout.
I strive to be this chill in any confruntation like this.
This video made me a little emotional. I have seen so many traffic and other incident videos with a lot of rage and threats and so on, and some personal experiences where people can be scary. This little video has so much kindness, empathy and care for a fellow human being. Such a simple wonderful gesture. This young lady will always remember your kindness and pass it on one day, I am sure.
Learnt something from you today we all make mistakes, it's how we react to other people's mistakes
Now, you've LEARNED two things.
This guy should be a cop. These are the people we need as cops. Not the current rage-head military wannabe cops we have now, with ZERO compassion or level-headedness.
Fyi cops in other countries are kind to the citizens including the offenders. Only US cops are power starving nutjobs.
@@truejayoh bad troll try harder
Seriously. Cool headedness should be a requirement for being a cop.
@@truejayoh Most US cops are good men and women.
Dude is a fire fighter, so kinda close.
The world needs more men like this guy !! He makes the world a much better place 💕
Wow! Such an example. Thank you. I've got tears because my reaction would have been much different.
I am usually calm, but this is another level, thanks so much for sharing and teaching by example.
First time I've seen your videos and Uncle Mullet Sir I am Impressed! You are what this world needs right now. Seems like everything in the news and on UA-cam is how horrible people have gotten. They show the absolute worst side of humanity. Today I was uplifted and encouraged by your demeanor when faced with a highly stressful situation. Seems like compassion and common decency aren't very common any more. Thank you for showing us that it still exists... (edited for grammer)
You are a class act! My 25yr old daughter had a fender bender while switching lanes last year. She pulled over and was very concerned about doing the right thing. She followed protocol with insurance and (against good judgement) gave the stranger a ride to his destination. His tire was too damaged & rendered his vehicle undrivable. She now knows she should have called an uber for him. Her honesty and kindness was rewarded with a lawsuit. He sued us. He lied. He is an example of why we become less trusting of our fellow human beings. She is still the kind soul she has always been and probably would extend herself for any stranger in need. But sadly, there is something to be said for caution regarding the people of this world.
This was an amazing lesson. This is a master class that should be included in every driver's training. Thank you!
thank you for being a kind and decent human being. this was pretty cool to see. so much compassion!
I am absolutely floored with your approach. I pray for this kind of grace in my every day hustle and bustle. God bless!!!!
Thank you for being a human being and showing the rest of us how to behave.
Ahh Geeze Uncle M!!! Was that by Ingram mall in SA? Glad you, the lady and puppers were fine. As usual you sir are an example to us all. Thanks for being you my man.
You are a saint. Thank you for showing patience and empathy in world commonly lacking them both.
In the recent past I feel like I'm inundated with outrage videos, anger promoting articles, and news/talk of people trying to tear others down. A video like this really feels like a relief. It helps me to remember that overwhelmingly my experience in the US has been with good friendly people. Thanks for making this great video and being a good person in the world! Bonus points for the Dad jokes.
You are awesome for handling this situation the way you did. As someone who got into their first accident about a month ago, I wish it went like this. I was in tears and in shock. Thank you for reacting the way you did.
That was incredible, thank you for that. Many people panic in those situations and fight or flight takes over. Most people in hit-and-run situations are truly panicking. I appreciate your kindness.
What an amazing person. Thank you for sharing this and have a great day today.
Simply outstanding. I needed this today.
Missed your vlogs my friend. You always put me in a good mood
That has totally made my Monday. What a legend of a man. So chilled and helpful and totally defused a situation that could have all kinds of crazy. With the world seemingly going a bit nuts it is people like this that make you realise humanity still has a chance.
Thanks for sharing.
I will take your hug sir, thanks for sharing this in such difficult times.
It's like she rear ended Patient and Wise but Stern Dad. This lesson will stay with her and she will pay it forward when she has the chance. You are a good guy.
The way you handled that situation should be taught to every kid during driver's ed! It was just brilliant. You got the lady to calm down and do the right thing and the end result was the best that it could've been for everyone. Bravo, sir! You're an example to us all.
You're awesome❤️🙏. I've got folks and relatives in Austin and your kindness has just gave me energy to try and be loving as you out here in Japan ina homogeneous society. Have an awesome night.
I have only just picked up this video and the one previous, so happy you are both doing ok, I was worried about you all. Good to see your smiling faces again.♥️♥️
Such a wholesome video. Thank you!
Holy crap the quiet reveal of the punch to the corner of the car.
True saint right here saw she was panicking and handled situation the right way
Good work, sir.
Keeping a level head isn't easy... Adrenaline surge and all the thoughts going through your head make that a challenge.
I was like her car doesn't even look damaged. He sure she's the culprit? Then he walks around to passenger side...
DAAAAAAAAAMN!!! LOL
I don’t know how you do it. But you absolutely handled this like a total badass. Every time I watch one of your videos I’m amazed how you can turn shitty situations into less shitty situations even if other people are mad or freaking out you somehow manage to calm them down and resolve everything peacefully. Much respect.
I saw this vid on Digg and immediately looked it up on UA-cam. You have yourself a new subscriber buddy. The world needs more Uncle Mullets. I strive to be more like you.
Awesome. I am amazed at how many camera's you have for tapping into the love. Good man. Love you.
Your positive attitude is also very annoying haha. Rock on.
People dont realise its just an object it can be fixed and no one got hurt. All people should follow this guys attitude, its the right attitude to have in everyday life.
You handled that compassionately! Well done! Wish more people were like you. Accidents happen
Wow. 1000/10 teaching kindness, respect, true maturity and a handful of other lessons not only with words, but with actions.
I couldn't help it. I cried a bit. Compassion in a time of crisis is what makes us human. That kind of goodness is what this world needs. I saw this on reddit and I'm subscribing. Thanks for this.
Treat people like a human. Thank you.
The part about the adrenaline is so true. If you don't know any better, it comes out in such an aggressive and overbearing manner. I'm not a novice driver, but I learned so much by watching you behave the way you did. Sometimes it's impossible to be compassionate when that feeling of self-preservation kicks in!
Everything went better than expected
You are one of the most respectful collected and calm people on the planet, we need more people like you. The biggest of Kudos go you my friend
Best video of the year. May compassion and love and health rain down upon all the viewers of this video.
Ya reminded me of ol' Robin Williams with the drive thru skit.
What a great video.
Holy crap, this is literally down the street from my apartment! Glad everyone was safe and hope your visits to San Antonio aren't all this eventful!
You made my Monday! Thank you.
You have a new subscriber good sir. That was very awesome and kind of you. Mad respect to you.
I'm glad you weren't in your Toaster either!
Well now I have to subscribe. Thank you for being around
"People are rear ending me, but I have ice cream". Marvelous, kudos to you, love the video, new subscribe.
Welcome to Uncle Mullet cousin Phil!
There are many good mullets here among us.
Thank you for your kindness.

Woooow you genuinely inspired me to be a better person, renewed hope for society.
This is exactly what we need more of in this world. Props man. You are awesome.
