- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out while I share with you this new around-the-house happenings! Kind of like a day in my life where I got some stuff done, worked out, felt good about getting that 'me time', and oh boy did it feel so good! I also whipped up some treats in the kitchen, we made three delicious things in the kitchen! Some energy balls, zucchini bread, and chocolate zucchini muffins! Woop!

I dont know if you know this because i did not…. I was growing zucchini last year and i was like “omg these things are HUGE!”. I was so impressed that i grew it. Turns out….. the bigger they get the more “tough” and less tasteful they become. Its fine for like zucchini bread and stuff but if you are just eating it grilled…. You actually want a smaller zucchini!
Yes, don’t want your zucchini to get large at all it does have that “woody-ness” too it. Keep them how you would get the, in store or at farm stand maybe a tiny bigger if you’d like.
We get the giant ones too sometimes. They hide! I just throw them away. Can't stand the giant ones with giant seeds.
I love a good zucchini and squash sliced up with onion, mushrooms and soy sauce. I could eat a big ole pot of that. I also will get zucchini & squash from Aldi’s, cut it up, sometimes I use onions and add it with chicken strips in a crockpot, then just pour your favorite zesty Italian dressing over it….you better shut your mouth & slap your mama!!!

Kim, you always make me feel better. Just wanted to thank you for that. I have MS and sometimes I just can’t get to stuff. I used to feel guilty. You make me feel better when you say “I’m just doing the best I can.” It makes me remember, “I too, am doing the best I can.” Thank you again.
I have f.m and seemingly never get anything done! But.... I'm pushing myself recently and still cant!! 😆 🤣 😂 oh weeeelllll.

My son was stuck on me until he turned around 5 and I made a big deal out of it, we had some sort of "birthday" on the day he should sleep alone for the first time 😂He's 9 now but he is still very close to me. No weird snuggles but he's a very compassionate boy.
If you and Alex have signed off on something with the addition to be done a certain way and the contractors do it differently, they should bear the costs of reverting it to the original plan.

Try cinnamon in the zucchini bread and use brown sugar instead of white!! Omg makes it SO much better! The cinnamon takes it to the next level!! Wolfgang is looking SO big!!! I can’t believe how big he’s getting! I’ve enjoyed following him grow up. 😊💚

That pipe in the laundry room is ridiculous. They should build your addition exactly how it is on the plan. I’m a builder - I know these things. If your general contractor won’t do that, fire him and find someone else. They can’t do something against plan and then charge you extra for doing it the proper way.

Good news! Tree Hut has had the body butter for like a year. Smells exactly like the Bum Bum cream. If it’s not at Target, I saw it at Ulta last week. 🎉

I was just about to comment thIs. The tropic glow scent comes in body butter. Very similar to BumBum cream. If your Target doesn’t have it, Ulta does.
Oh my goodness, Wolfgang is so cute ❤ My son was clingy like that and I could not put him down as well. When he started talking, he would yell at the top of his lungs, "HALP! HALP!!" whenever I had to hand him off so that I could go to the restroom until I came back 😅

I love to throw in hemp hearts, cocao nibs (in place of the chocolate chips), flax seed, or chia seeds into protein bites. As long as I only add one of those ingredients my kids still love them. Keep doing what you're doing, you're an inspiration to this mom who's trying her best over here 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

After my mom passed away the thought of makeup just was like- why? So I quit. It took some getting used to, now it’s just moisturizer and mascara. And I love how quick it is to get ready to go anywhere. You are beautiful with or without makeup.

I made myself breakfast for the first time in 3+ years today instead of grabbing something quick like yogurt or protein bar. I feel good about that

You make life so much better! Love your humor, realness and honesty. My kids are older, 17 and 12. So wish you were around during those times when I just needed to know it’s ok if you don’t do it all. I always took myself too seriously. You are an amazing Mom and even if you don’t always think it, you have it all figured out! You rock!

I know I am forty five days late but the tree hut shave oil is gold!!! All I use. Best stuff ever!!

I went through that with my son too and it was so hard. I had people telling me I need to this and that and I said I’m going to do what I need to do. Your right he’s fine and he will know he is loved. 🧡
I just started using that O'Keefe feet cream as well. Absolutely love it. Heels were cracking before and now I don't notice it after a week.
Another good thing to do with zucchini...peel them, cut in circles (any thickness you like) put parmesan cheese on top and bake until the cheese is brown

Hi Kim, Wolfgang looked so cute, after he finally woke up in the morning, when you were cuddling with him, so sweet! He's getting so big. It looks like he'll be sitting up & crawling soon, then he won't want you want as much. That's what happened with my boy & last baby too! Mine started running around & got into everything! Love that sandbox area. What a beautiful yard. It does give me a little anxiety because I think of gators just coming up out of the water. Also, my kids would go straight for the water. Im from Utah, so in my mind, gators are just everywhere in Florida 😅
I was thinking the same thing! Gorgeous yard, but do they ever see alligators? She’s never mentioned it.
I have lived in Florida my whole life and I’ve only seen gators at the gator sanctuary 🤣 and I live close to the Everglades.
I guess the discovery channel has me thinking they just sit by the edge of the water waiting for anything with a heartbeat so they can jump out and gobble them up 🤣

We have 3 kids-the last two slept with us until 8years old---our grandson is 9 and loves to sleep with us---they just want to be close and not alone. Yes, apple sauce instead of oil and maybe 1 cup of peanut butter instead of oil. With the chocolate and peanut butter---yum!!
My favorite thing is hearing about and seeing the addition🎉🎉 however, you are completely correct. They need at the least vent into the garage and then up and out. It would make for better clean out too.

I took my first trip to Florida over spring break and my oh my it’s a dream there. I may be moving ❤❤❤
When my. Kids were small it took me 4days cause I only had time for 1leg or 1arm a day cause I worked full time in nursing and tried to keep up with all the kids activities. But it was the best time of my life.
I used to go to my aunties for a cuppa. She was often out. I would do her dishes, sit down have a cuppa and leave when im done😂😂
