- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new holiday / Christmas bake with me! Cookies are for Christmas and pies are for thanksgiving!! So I made seven christmas desserts / holiday desserts and a savory snack mix I guess you can call it that! These recipes were out of this world and outrageous! If i had to pick an order in which to eat I would do the brownie cookie first. and the sweetened condensed milk snowball cookie next... haha and then it's a free for all I would be shoving the rest in my mouth simultaneously haha! My grandson, ( our oldest grandchild) when he was almost two, started calling me Onion! 😂 Before that, he wouldn’t call me anything. I made a macaroni salad and I noticed him picking out the onions. I told him that if he didn’t like onions, I would never put onions in his salad again. He smiled at me across the table, pointed at me and called me Onion! Soooo now I’m Onion from my grandchildren and their little cousins. My husband’s name is Papa Pill. 🥰

I love how things like that just stick! My uncle and I were playing together, he read the can of drink he had, it said “made with Splenda” but he said it being silly and said “Splendo” and so he was uncle Splendo after that moment 😂 idk kids are so funny
I don't know if you read comments, but I just wanted to thank you. This holiday season has been, at times, brutal for me. I lost my son a couple months ago and my mother a few months before that. While I have my faith that literally keeps me afloat, I am still sad. Your videos have truly lifted my spirits and made me smile. So thank you, thank you, thank you. From this Mama's heart to your Mama's heart, I love how you love your children.

Yes I would say any cookie or candy in any country is made up from basically the same stuff.
I didn't mean just for sweet stuff, and I didn't mean to offend anyone. It was just an observation because I'm used to very different cooking and baking. Never used corn syrup for example.@@lindseymiller8165
Omgosh, when you inserted the clip of “can you dig it” while making those chocolate cookies then almost breaking your neck because of that stool 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m embarrassed at how many times I rewound that part and laughed harder each time. I’m crying. Quality tv right here 🤌

My oldest child is almost 16. (He's the first grandchild on both sides). When he was younger he used to watch a lot of Dora the explorer. My father-in-law chose that he wanted to be called "pap pap" prior to our son being born. But when my son started to talk, he thought we were saying backpack. Like how Dora says "backpack backpack!" 🎒❤😂. Needless to say now all of my children and the family know him as their backpack. He disclosed to me that it's the most endearing name and that he loves it. And he wouldn't ask to change it
My grandson Sterling started calling me Gaga when he was just a baby and every grandchild since just followed his lead!!! I love being Gaga!!! ❤❤❤😊😊😊

Growing up it absolutely wasn't Christmas without my grandma's Cinnamon Bread... it was a homemade enriched dough that she lovingly made with her own bear hands (that's right... I said bear)... after the first rise, she would pinch the dough into little balls, dip them in butter and pull them into little rectangles that got dipped in cinnamon sugar and lined up in loaf pans. Second rise, bake, ooey-gooey cinnamon-ey perfection... it comes out like a pull-apart bread loaf that we would warm up in the micro and slather with even more butter. I miss my grandma the most at Christmas. Love ya as always, chica!

Mornin Party people! Hope you all had a great holiday! It was weird for us in Upstate NY, No snow 2 years in a row! Whaaa?! lol We're assuming Jan, Feb, and March we're gonna get rocked!
Right??? I also live in upstate NY, and it was downright balmy for Christmas! My kiddos played outside after opening presents! 🎄
Same it was 53 here, Halloween it was snowing
I lived in upstatr NY for 5 years in the early 2000s, the first year it started snowing in october, and our last snowfall was the beginning of june. JUNE!! I cant imagine being upstate and not having snow during Christmas. I miss upstate NY so much. Its such a beautiful and peaceful place.
My grand kids call me Gramma, because Nana to me reminds me of my really old Nana and I wasn't old when I became a grandmother, I was 37. My daughter was 20 when she had her 1st son
My husband and I are Oma and Opa. It warms my heart when you mention your Oma with fondness.

My grandson is Born austalien and i am german. My daughter asked me , how i want that my grandson would call me in the Future? So i decided it would be Oma (german Granny). My daughter and i are realye Look alike. And it messed with the littel Boys mind, i had the feeling. He could Not stop Look again and again from his mommy to me. 😂😂😂
When it was time to Name his german granny, he Never called me OMA. He called me MOMA! A mix out of Mama and Oma.
Now my 2 grandson calls me Like that, and often my son in law too.

I used to work in to sea front restaurant in the height of summer that was brutal! Even leading up to Christmas it would get so busy, probably one of our bustiest times along with summer and Easter.

Third, I live in Ohio, so one favorite tradition I make are buckeyes. Which are a lot like your Christmas trees you made. Thanks for this, Kim. I enjoy a good cookie video! My favourite cookie to make and eat is a Scottish shortbread. What I eat that others do not like? Homemade British fruitcake. Make it on "Stir Up Sunday", eat it during Christmas (which in our house lasts until Epiphany, January 6th. And that is also the day the tree comes down!) I hope you found some time to play with the kids and otherwise put your feet up!
