We had a bad experience last spring in the Guardalavaca area, we booked an overpriced hotel thinking we would not be disappointed, for the most part a great holiday but way too many shortages. We have been travelling to Cuba for 20 years so we understand the limitations and hardship that the island faces day to day, but the people are so resilient and I I don’t know how they deal with the situation. We thought we would never return to Cuba but your experiences and attitude made us step back and reassess our expectations when we travel to Cuba. We are definitely planning on returning thanks to you!
I love your attitude because it’s a philosophy that’s aplicable on other situations of life. Sometimes we let minor inconveniences ruin our day, ignoring that we’re privileged and blessed by god to have a roof, a job, a family , food. Cheers from Mexico

Really enjoy your videos, very informative and you tell it as it is. My wife and i are looking at this resort come the end of April. We have been to Cuba several times Varadero, Cayo Santa Maria and Holguin so we know what to expect. We thought we would try this area of Cuba, we love the beach the Cuban people.
Great video, we didn't have hot water for 3 days last year, didn't bother me, but mi esposa that's another story. You should always bring your Bubba cup for drinks 🙈

Great video as always ! I am spending the week in Varadero at the Iberostar Bella Vista and it has been nothing short of amazing so far. The weather is perfect, my star prestige suite is the best room I ever had in Cuba and my ocean view room is spectacular. Also the food at the star prestige restaurant is very good and tasty with lots of choices. I am very impressed by this hotel and excellent service I will be coming back for sure. Don’t hesitate to try it ! ❤️🏖️✈️☀️
@@Finding-Fish Hi Mike, I don’t know if they have a big following but it seems very popular as the hotel is 95% full and it’s October ! I have to go at 7 am to reserve a beach chair it doesn’t bother me but I can see it being irritating for some. The other thing is the music it’s not a calm and quiet resort but the entertainment is amazing at the beach and the pool. The other good thing is there is no bugs and no mosquitoes and the rooms are very clean and modern. I am having an amazing week !
Great review I was there in early September and we enjoyed ourselves aside from the limited food selections and mosquitos. Like you said beach, pool, night shows, drink selection and even snack bar was good for late night snacks

The star fish beach in Cayo Largo looked great Plus you get to to the free train to Serina beach!!! Everyday if you want including all good and drinks!!! Free!!! Watch the Sirena beach video!!!

First off was awesome meeting you! Secondly had I known you could of used some electrolytes. I had the best thing around... coco hydrate! It helped me as I suffered from too much sun as well.... if you're interested in trying it out, let me know! I'm partnered with purium. Anyways, great video, and I 100% agree with everything. We didn't even notice the 1 day without water as we were at the beach. Miss the beach already!

Thanks to your reviews, we just came back from a trip at the memories Flamenco. We had a wonderful time down there. Alot of your advice helped us prepare and enjoy the trip. Loved the Cuban Capuccino, the beach is amazing, i loved any meat on the grill...so i didnt have any problems with eating at the buffet. We got reservations at the Asian, Creole and Italian restaurants. The pools and salsa dancing plus nightime theatre performances gave us options. The bug spray advice was priceless. It was our first time to Cuba and we thoroughly enjoyed it👏👏👏.

We 100% know exactly what to expect. We have been to Cuba more times than we can count and this time it will be for a wedding on that specific beach so we can't wait. I proposed on that same Beach in 2019.

My wife and I are excited to return to our favorite getaway and will hit our third Memories together in a short two weeks. Never been to the Flamenco but Memories has never disappointed, nor does the odd power outage or cold water. Its part of the adventure. We were wondering if you and Jenny had any advice on getting Diamond Upgrades at the resort (value) vs having it in your package up front. Good day. I think a week for that price is great. I know the limitations and accept. Someone with high expectations needs to rethink their plan or readjust. I even have a hard time to eat in Punta Cana these days so I eat 2 times a day. Power and water running out is not fun. The ice machine needs to run for mixed drinks. The pools look good and ocean.

I've been to Playa Coco and it was great, Pullman was amazinnnng, now Memories Flemenco we didn't have the greatest experience yet will be going again next week because it's dirt cheap. I'm hearing a lot of bad recent reviews and it seems to have gotten worse from when I went but will make the best of it. This is my 4th trip this year to Cayo Coco. 🇨🇺

That Cat at the start of the clip was so friendly and chatty! I let him into my room for just a minute, then decided to name him "Hairy Styles" 0:14 . I loved seeing all the cats at this resort. (and it appeared that many of the males had been "fixed")

No idea when you were last at this resort. We just got back from there. Diamond club as recommended. This place was a dive. No phone no hot water no toilet paper no cola. Slept in the same sheets all week. Ran out of towels. No mini bar stocked with at the least water. Never be back and done watching your reviews
Well Randy Just got back last week when the Resort experienced the water situation!!! When it comes to Cuba and the ups and down I don’t know I can say it any differently!!!! No towels and no sheets for the week!!! Wow!!! Did you talk with housekeepers and house keeping???? Or front desk? If you travel, and to a country like Cuba with a mass amount of issues, kindly talking with front desk comings up with a solution would be my first attempt!!!! I’ve made countless videos about traveling to Cuba and what it could look like!!!! Also Cuba changes from week to week and day to day!!!!

No water, how do they do dishes and wash hands preparing food. Maybe that’s the cause of the sickness. I have been to Cuba 13 times but do worry about flies and lack of washing.❤

Yes totally suitable and safe, Easy to get around and a beautiful beach with lots of Beach walking!!!! Building 1-2-3 are the best and easiest!!! Request those and life is good
Hey quick question! We booked the diamond club suite - with the king and the little living room. How did you qualify as a diamond club member? was it the room you booked? This looks like a steal for the price! I was told not to book on the higher floors, where the water pressure is worse so i anticipate that isnt great
It was the same price when I booked in Low season!!!! Typically in low season the resorts may offer deals like this to entice people to the resorts. My room like you can see was Okay, And in low season not everything was opened!!! So it wasn’t really worth that much!!! Like I stated in the video
I’ve stayed at this Resort 10 times Best building 1-3 I never had a water issue in any of these buildings!!! Even on upper floor but that was 6 months ago

I highly recommend that you eventually enhance your Cuba travel to authentic towns, cities or villages; Santa Clara, Cienfuegos, Trinidad for example. Or split your stay between both a resort and a town or city. Living the Cuban life, authentically and understanding the struggles and the complexities of being a Cuban without the frills of a resort helps one to understand the shortages and why things fluctuate so much. Prior to the pandemic, I was living in Cuba half the year, building a business and working with writers and authors. it really changes how you live your life forever. Your values change. I did the resort thing for 15 years and have stayed at high-end and low end, and have been to every resort zone in the country. They truly are all very similar with anemities, routines, accommodations. They’re nice for a few days to wash away the city dust but a resort stay can never replace spending real time with real people in real Cuba. Thanks for your reviews and I hope to visit one of your resorts soon.

It really depends!!! What food types you like!!! If you have watched any of my videos!!! I’m not going to Cuba for Food!!! When it comes to food it depends on the months and the resort!!! Low season the good quality can be lower then high season!!!

I'M ONLY GOING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME... Does the resort suffer from issue Yes!!! I'm never going to concern myself with that!!!only focusing on the positive!! Best best and great pools.... Have you ever gotten good poisoning/parasites here? Last time I went, my last 3 days were pretty rough because of this. The nurse gave us some pretty strong antibiotics and electrolytes and they helped, but had to go get more when back in Canada.
Ya like 20 years ago!!! But my body is use to anything!!!! You can get parasites anywhere you go in the world!!! Safe travels and enjoy the world we life in!!!

If they were smart they should promote a whole new PLE with The Rock vs Roman Reigns and leave the Cody vs Roman match at WM alone. You get two big matches out of it. He’s online every day- when the deal pops up he books it. He doesn’t typically book early. Some days just a few days before.

I've been to Playa Coco and it was great, Pullman was amazinnnng, now Memories Flemenco we didn't have the greatest experience yet will be going again next week because it's dirt cheap. I'm hearing a lot of bad recent reviews and it seems to have gotten worse from when I went but will make the best of it. This is my 4th trip this year to Cayo Coco. 🇨🇺

Safe comes with the room- in fact almost everywhere we travel- the room has a safe. I hope you get away soon!!

That Cat at the start of the clip was so friendly and chatty! I let him into my room for just a minute, then decided to name him "Hairy Styles" 0:14 . I loved seeing all the cats at this resort. (and it appeared that many of the males had been "fixed")

No idea when you were last at this resort. We just got back from there. Diamond club as recommended. This place was a dive. No phone no hot water no toilet paper no cola. Slept in the same sheets all week. Ran out of towels. No mini bar stocked with at the least water. Never be back and done watching your reviews

Hey quick question! We booked the diamond club suite - with the king and the little living room. How did you qualify as a diamond club member? was it the room you booked? This looks like a steal for the price! I was told not to book on the higher floors, where the water pressure is worse so i anticipate that isnt great
It was the same price when I booked in Low season!!!!
Typically in low season the resorts may offer deals like this to entice people to the resorts.
My room like you can see was Okay,
And in low season not everything was opened!!!
So it wasn’t really worth that much!!!

Thank you. I leave Dec 21 for Flamenco (D Club) - think I have all the bases covered. This is like my 40th trip to the Caribbean (3rd to Cuba).
I highly recommend that you eventually enhance your Cuba travel to authentic towns, cities or villages; Santa Clara, Cienfuegos, Trinidad for example. Or split your stay between both a resort and a town or city. Living the Cuban life, authentically and understanding the struggles and the complexities of being a Cuban without the frills of a resort helps one to understand the shortages and why things fluctuate so much. Prior to the pandemic, I was living in Cuba half the year, building a business and working with writers and authors. it really changes how you live your life forever. Your values change. I did the resort thing for 15 years and have stayed at high-end and low end, and have been to every resort zone in the country. They truly are all very similar with anemities, routines, accommodations. They’re nice for a few days to wash away the city dust but a resort stay can never replace spending real time with real people in real Cuba. Thanks for your reviews and I hope to visit one of your resorts soon.

Have you ever gotten good poisoning/parasites here? Last time I went, my last 3 days were pretty rough because of this. The nurse gave us some pretty strong antibiotics and electrolytes and they helped, but had to go get more when back in Canada.

We had no water for almost half day and the Diamond Club sorry to tell you is a joke. Nobody cared to be completely honest with you
Biggest match until they ring the bell and The Rock is sweating buckets 5 minutes. The entrances will be dope but the match ain’t gonna be special. Lots of chin holds. If they were smart they should promote a whole new PLE with The Rock vs Roman Reigns and leave the Cody vs Roman match at WM alone. You get two big matches out of it. WM is already sold out it doesn’t need The Rock
