I weirdly enough related to Cartman in this special, even though I was an essential worker. It was so peaceful, no tourists crowding the streets or packed trains, plus absolutely nothing to do at work. If there's one thing that I'm gonna miss from those times, it's that peace and quiet.
Same. We started closing early, no one was in the store after the first few days, I would just go in and do a cleaning shift (only cleaning cuz of covid) and then get to leave. Ended pretty quickly, its more busy than its been in years now
I just love when Randy mentions Pandemic Special he's talking about both the weed business and the name of the episode "The Pandemic Special has to end, well because then it wouldn't be a special" 🤣
and then Kyles dumbfounded "I cant believe it...", its a really strong scene. Partnered with Eric's ending in the Post Covid Special it really shows that deep down he does love the guys a lot.
I like the soft music you put in the background of your voice, and when it stops when you drive certain points home or include scenes. It makes the video soothing and informative at the same time. Great work. 👍
I always found it hilarious that at 9:41 when all the parents are on Zoom, Kenny's mom is the only one who's still using the default iPad username. Clearly this has to be because they're poor meth addicts who probably stole the device or did some kind of a trade. Hilarious attention to character detail that you almost miss if you're not paying attention 🤣
Hey everyone, thanks for all the support these last couple of months, I appreciate you all ! Also I apologize for the lack of uploads, I’ve been very busy with school and work. This video has actually been finished for a while now, but when I went to upload it it was blocked by Viacom on the grounds of copyright infringement. I appealed it and they denied the appeal, so I’m currently in the process of a second appeal, however the video isn’t blocked as of now so I decided to make it public. I’m not sure if it will stay up, but I figured you guys deserve a new video. Anyways, thanks again for the support! Edit: also I am aware I put part 2 twice lol my bad
Did you notice that when the scene shifts to Disneyland and Mickey Mouse the statue of Mickey and Walt has the same ominous feel as the Kim statues in North Korea Implying that Mickey runs Disney similar to how Kim runs North korea
Honestly I identified with cartman in that first scene. I loved those ads with companies pretending like they cared about more then just money. “We know it’s been tough and can’t wait to see you again.”
"times are hard, so we're working hard to keep you taken care of" Translation : "I know you're stuck at home, but we're finding ways to still be able to make sure your paycheck is spent before it's cashed."
I think the reason it worked so well is they made sure they told ALL of us how stupid we’ve been and how mean and hostile we’ve been through such a hard time where it would’ve been really nice if everyone felt the same and supported each other and Matt and trey break up us kids in the backseat saying you’re both being children now think about that 😂
The scene where Stan breaks down really hit me. I'm an adult an I've surely thought about the affects on very young kids in their inital formative years -like babies and toddlers- and how this will be the norm. But I really hadn't thought about the psyche of young kids (approx. age group of the sp kids) who are old enough to have a relative grasp on their world and schema. They're old enough to understand that this isn't what they know, but they are still...just kids. Idk it hit me hard that I'd never even considered that particular developmental stage until this episode...
when I originally watched the episode, I thought Sharon having Randy's mustache was a joke on her giving Randy some 'quality' time but the Pandemic Special makes a lot of sense too
Wow, this was such a well constructed and well written video! You are a very underrated content creator, this definitely deserves more attention. Keep up the great work!
man i was like cartman i loved the fact that we were homeschooled i did so much better than in normal school but then the pandemic calmed down just a bit and we went back to public school
@areyoutheregoditsmedave mainly that not taking the vaccine was selfish and that masks worked, but I would have to watch the episode again to really remember it all
I lost four of my family in the beginning of 2020 - the lockdown was horrible, yet so changing. I rediscovered South Park that year, i loved that show as a kindergartener and once had a tantrum cuz i wanted to watch it so bad lmao. South Park helped me through the Pandemic so much, it will always have a special place in my heart
I truly feel sorry for everyone who had to live though the pandemic...I live in a red state, so we never shut down, and never had any mandates.. literally nothing changed for us, but I saw what others were going through, and I'm just happy it's pretty much over now.
You were lucky in most ways. I live in a swing state that’s been blue in 2020 and midterms but I live in a county particular a neighborhood that’s vastly red only 2 miles outside a major city on the east coast that’s very progressive so I got a taste of both having family, friends, restaurants, malls, stores, doctors, etc that are in or live in the city where it was full out restrictions and make while at home a red ran county just 2 miles outside city loose and eventually very loose restrictions towards the second half of CV19. I’m glad things are getting back to normal also for everyone it vastly effected people already struggling CV19. Great Comment btw 👍🏻💯👏🏻
With this high quality of content, I was surprised when I saw the sub count. I look forward to the day when that number hits the thousands and hopefully even millions :)
I always thought the mask gag was laughing at people who wear them but don't wear them properly since they're pretty pointless if you don't cover the nose.
The Pandemic Special and The Vaccine Special saved my opinion of South Park. The last season before this was very meh to me. I have restored faith in Stone and Parker. And the last few season before that kinda sucked in my opinion
After I watched this video I expected you to have way more subs than actually do. If you keep up this quality you'll be one of the big boys in no time!
Speaking of unrelated humor and despite loving adult animated series I never actually expected to find the funniest side characters to be a frikkin towel! Lol!
I like your content. Subscribed. Can't wait to say "I subbed to you when you only had 568 subscribers." in your 1 million subscribers celebration video!
What’s kinda funny to me is that I got to go to build a bear for the first time ever on my 17th birthday, which was a mere week before the shutdown. Poor poor butters.
I loved this episode. Cartman's opening song about "existence-ing" while "social distance-ing" was the perfect way to open the show. (It is being called the "Introvert Anthem" and searching for it led me to revisit the brilliance of the "Book of Mormon", so I get more SP notifications than I can count.) By the time they brought Eric in squealing, I was already laughing, so to follow it up with the police bit and then Garrison, I was done!😂 While it WAS a bit on the nose/over the line, when Garrison said: "I am going to ACTIVELY do nothing.", I was literally rotf. I think Matt & Trey went back to their roots where 45 is concerned, and decided to be as subtle as he is..😂🙃🤣 I liked this analysis a lot.
When it talks about build a bear I understand, I was supposed to go with my class to Washington DC, we were told we would go next year then the year after that, now we know we will never go
Christ, the lockdowns. It's weird to think about only a few years. I remember it but as a never ending malaise. I remebr the scorching summer during the first year and being able to enjoy the rare heat wave. But i cant even remember the winter anything after that. Just me in my room. Proughing through youtube or video games and the like.
My school was extremely stupid, and started school without any quarantine, and didn't require a mask or temp checks the entire time. I'm surprised and thankful I didn't get sick
I loved this episode, as well as your channel. I personally related so much to Stan,I hated not living my kife as always... i was felling has i was living the same day over and over: staying in the computer for the whole day to study and crying. That was my routine. I'm so happy that the whole situation is over. It had also some perks though
Know this is an older video and the pandemic is mostly behind us now in 2024. But for myself the pandemic, somehow was just, for the most part a good change of pace. Yes I was constantly worried for my family worried they’d be taken from me by the virus. But at the same time on a personal level I was still more or less happy. Not having the monotony of going to school everyday was a welcome change of pace from the past decade and a half of doing it. As an introvert myself being able to stay indoors but still able to talk with my friends when I wanted to meant that I didn’t feel chained down.
I don’t agree with South Park take on president garrison in the special, but when garrison shows up with a flame thrower I busted out laughing so hard.
The whole "randy feels bad for profiting off a pandemic he caused" bit i thought was supposed to be a jab at the pharmaceutical industry. But your idea makes more sense. Big pharma doesnt feel remorse
I weirdly enough related to Cartman in this special, even though I was an essential worker. It was so peaceful, no tourists crowding the streets or packed trains, plus absolutely nothing to do at work. If there's one thing that I'm gonna miss from those times, it's that peace and quiet.

I particularly liked the corporate ads pretending they actually care about people.
@@rhaeasoul8531 Yeah, screw people! They're overrated at best!
i was also an essenctial worker I just loved there was no traffic and that it was quite always at night. im glad most if back to normal though
Lmaoo I worked at McDonald’s and was labeled a “frontline worker” and got payed mote
Finding this kind of quality writing and video is very rare specially for such small youtuber
True!
It's nice.
He's a good and smart kid. Can't wait for his take on the latest special
He truly is one of my favorite youtubers. He is so chill to listen to.
For real.
I just love when Randy mentions Pandemic Special he's talking about both the weed business and the name of the episode
"The Pandemic Special has to end, well because then it wouldn't be a special" 🤣
I ALWAYS cry at the scene where Stan breaks down crying and Cartman actually sympathizes.
and then Kyles dumbfounded "I cant believe it...", its a really strong scene. Partnered with Eric's ending in the Post Covid Special it really shows that deep down he does love the guys a lot.

Except Kyle. Fuck Kyle.

True, he's a great narrator and writer

Quite an impactful moment when Cartman doesn't kill the pangolin.
Craig's dad punching butter's dad was so satisfying to watch
I think the reason it worked so well is they made sure they told ALL of us how stupid we’ve been and how mean and hostile we’ve been through such a hard time where it would’ve been really nice if everyone felt the same and supported each other and Matt and trey break up us kids in the backseat saying you’re both being children now think about that 😂
This may be true but only one child in this situation is stripping civil liberties from the other

I spent time at home with my hubby, went biking in the country side, renovated the house and lost weight. An amazing year 👍
The Pandemic special is really great Randy was so funny in this episode especially what he was doing with ahm his Tegrity weed 😂😂😂
Wow, this was such a well constructed and well written video! You are a very underrated content creator, this definitely deserves more attention. Keep up the great work!

I can really relate to butters
Just discovering your South Park videos, and I am loving them!
I love how the special is a time capsule of 2020 now that so much information has changed and been debunked or proven right.
like what?
@areyoutheregoditsmedave mainly that not taking the vaccine was selfish and that masks worked, but I would have to watch the episode again to really remember it all

I had COVID when the episode aired, it was a very good episode and I laughed my ass off.
channels as good as this one are like 300000 to 1.
keep it up g, its cool to see someone like this on the come up
I truly feel sorry for everyone who had to live though the pandemic...I live in a red state, so we never shut down, and never had any mandates.. literally nothing changed for us, but I saw what others were going through, and I'm just happy it's pretty much over now.

That this video is super good. Didn't realize that you only have 150 subs until I was halfawy through it. Great job.
I love ALL your videos. I hope you continue making more South Park and other show requests! ^^ ❤
With this high quality of content, I was surprised when I saw the sub count. I look forward to the day when that number hits the thousands and hopefully even millions :)
Just rewatched this episode yesterday and it still holds up even two years later.
Such a great video, this channel deserves so many more than 240 subscribers.
I doubt butters parents would have actually taken him to builder bear.
“The Pandemic Special” felt way too real.
great video.. already waiting for the next one ! don’t forget me when you pop off
I’ll remember you ;) just keep your pfp the same that’s how I’ll identify you haha
Me to
Plz
I always thought the mask gag was laughing at people who wear them but don't wear them properly since they're pretty pointless if you don't cover the nose.
Bo Burnham's song 'comedy ' from Inside hits exactly what you're talking about. "Should I be joking at a time like this?"
"sometimes we no to laugh to not be sad"
starts crying
The Pandemic Special and The Vaccine Special saved my opinion of South Park. The last season before this was very meh to me. I have restored faith in Stone and Parker. And the last few season before that kinda sucked in my opinion
Ya ngl cartmans response was 100% my response. I literally never talked to anyone before so nothing changed I just got my ideal life for like 2 years.
"how comedy make people laugh?" wow such insight
HOLY SH-- I THOUGHT YOU HAD 200K TO 2 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS

Also my birthday is a day before yours
It’s crazy to me to see how much you’ve grown ina year, keep goin man
Surprised you didn’t mention cartman showing kindness at the end
I actually planned to mention that but didn’t realize I forgot to until I finished the video haha
What is most crazy is.. cartman thorugh all this became a better person.. out of everyone.
It's crazy how you can get stoned and watch these with your buddys or learn life lessons from it
Awesome channel, can't wait to watch it grow!
After I watched this video I expected you to have way more subs than actually do. If you keep up this quality you'll be one of the big boys in no time!

youre so amasing at your content, well deserved subscriber
Your channel is amazing bro
best part about this era of south park was that it was applicable then, but it did NOT age well lmao.
I can safely say I never watched tiger king because I have better things to watch
It's actually quite good
Look at you being a special boy, here is a sticker
I really liked this episode of SP! It was funny and had some sweet moments! Long live, South Park ❤
The Ending to that special with Garrison was a warning, and thankfully America heeded it. This video was awesome
The first time I watch my mind want he has 50k sub at least of how good the content
So I think u need more subs
If there's anything!!!! You can say... South Park - never holds back!
Great video very much enjoyed! 👍

Holy shit this channel needs to blow up. +1 subbed.
If Sandshrew is an Armadillo, Sandlash is a Pangolin.

gotta love the evolution of Vic Chaos aka butters

Great video! New sub :p
Wait I didn't see you were small, I saw this and figured you had at least 30k, someone needs to advertise these videos they're great
Know this is an older video and the pandemic is mostly behind us now in 2024.

7:39 it’s very rare to see mackey day EHKAY instead of MKAY
Conclusion from this special: Randy Marsh created C*vid
DUDE I PREDICTED THAT THIS IS THE PLOTLINE AND IT TURNED OUT FO BE TRUE LESS THAN A MINUTE LATER😂
I absolutely love the video idea keep it up :)
The whole "randy feels bad for profiting off a pandemic he caused" bit i thought was supposed to be a jab at the pharmaceutical industry. But your idea makes more sense. Big pharma doesnt feel remorse
I thought these pandemic specials were way to 1 sided and ham fisted.
This guy really doesn’t know that South Park is making fun of his own views?
Explain
This video is a essay of this episode not about his views on covid
Bro I was sopposed to go to the Bahamas and then the pandemic hit
Did you get to it
Wonderful video, amazing channel.
Great videos
i had the same response as cartman
you make great content 💕💕
can you believe that 4 years later there’d be kids romanticizing going to school during lockdown 😭
god i absolutely LOVED lockdown
seeing this in 2024 is surreal
