A friend of mine just bought a Mach 1 just like this one except for the wheels. His came with the upgraded wheels. What a beautiful car. It sounds great too.
I really like this Mustang. However these are pretty much $70K cars now and frankly, no matter how great it is, that is within $15K of a Cayman T. I'm sorry if you work for a living there is no way you can pay that much for a Ford Mustang when a Porsche (A PORSCHE) is another $150 a month. The Mach I is a great $55K car that unfortunately costs $70K.
I paid $57500 (msrp) for my 2021 mach 1 700a package. Not to mention cars like the cayman with 4 cyl turbo engines will be around for a long time, while the end of v8 rear drive sports cars is imminent.
I would rather disagree because let's be real .... are you biased just because of the name or something else, because at the end of the day in the sports car world, who cares if a Porsche is a Porsche or a Ford is a Ford? Performance is what you should be looking for and this Mustang Exceeds a base 718 and a Supra in their capabilities; Power, Acceleration, Top Speed, Handling, & Tunability. Not to mention, those high end Mustangs are more reliable from what I've heard.

I love the GT500 too. I have been trying to get one without the dealership markup, with inflation so high and the stock market going down I can’t justify purchasing a GT500, especially with a markup and I think 2022 is the final year for the GT500.

I bought the 22 mach 1 in April. I absolutely love this car. My 2019 proformance 1 mustang was fast but this mach is much faster. Coming from the 6 speed to the 10 automatic was the hardest part. But the drive and power is unbelievable. Worth every penny I think

For me it was the best decision to buy a mach1. It was my dream car in the childhood. It is exactly what I expected. A real car with a lot of emotions. I like how this car drives and sounds. Even in germany we have this exhaust 😁 this is way better than any boring BMW or Mercedes’ and Audi. I don’t care if it is not this fast. It is way more fun and heritage. A dream come true for me

Dealer sticker had a $3995 dealer add on for a "package" that included window tint, wheel.locks, hood pin stripes, and what the salesman called dealer markup. They took the entire package price off the deal. I paid sticker but with what I got and the markups at the time, think I got a good deal.

I special ordered a fully loaded 2021 Mach 1 and I absolutely love it! I got the handling package, recaros, and the 6 speed tremec. I think it’s an amazing car and I’m so happy I bought one.
If you have this car and you're getting mileage of 14 city/22 highway you're not driving it the way it's meant to be driven. If you're getting single digit mileage you're doing it right.

Gotta agree with you. The interior should have at least orange colour stitching or orange highlits on the door panels. I really like this Mach 1 design (especially the normal 2019 facelifed version) rather than the previous one. Really gives it the angrier looks of it. But don't get me wrong I do love the current GT350, GT350R & GT500 too. But in my personal opinion, the 2019 model and this Mach 1 (especially this Spider Jet Gray Mach 1) really caught my attention. And the exhaust note? Eargasmic to hear indeed
When I see the price of modern mustangs, which used to be their selling point, that they were cheap, I can only choose a camaro or challenger or literally anything else that’s slightly comparable.

I bought a used (4100 mile) 2021 Mach 1 with handling package and Recaro's in Jet Fighter Gray a bit over a month ago. I put an order in on a 2022 (Grabber Blue), but bought the used one since I'm honestly not sure if or when the 2022 will be built or come in to the dealer. I did not want to miss getting one either way. V8 manual cars like this have their days numbered for them unfortunately. Whether I keep the 2021 or get rid of it if the 2022 comes in, either is a car I hope to keep the rest of my life. If I wouldn't lose any money, I'd maybe opt for the 2022, but with the taxes paid on the 2021, I would likely stand to lose money if I got rid of it unless I sold it at a price ~$6000-7000 over what I paid.
Ok, but the Ford site says the Mustang is equipped with "cooled seats." Some manufacturers do state "ventilated seats," though. There is a difference in the 2.
@@wbwayne8887 Anyone that has been around for awhile knows that is a play on marketing. If Ford has refrigerant flowing through their Mustang seats, great. If ventilation (fans) cause cooling, marketing to a cooling affect. Yes, there is a difference.

You are stuck with whats sitting on dealer lots which aint many, and dealers want 5-10k markups. No thanks, i can order a Camaro SS 1LE or Scat Pack Widebody at 1% below invoice with affiliate pricing.

ZL1 or Hellcat yes technically you can use an affiliate discount code at time of order or purchase from the lot, but dealers could and would likely decline to let you do so again unless you have a good relationship with them already seeing as how they can pretty easily get $10k or more on these cars with ADM markups. But like i said a Camaro SS 1Le or Scat Pack Widebody are common enough that affiliate pricing at time of order should be accepted by any half decent dealership

Ok, so you have the Camaro ZL1! That is a great selling point right there!!!!! I have a 2018 Camaro RS 6 speed stick. I love it. Only has a little over 10,000 miles. I may go for the ZL1.
Joe. Do some research. Only the Cobra Jet and Boss Mustangs offered the shaker hood. My first new car before college and Vietnam was a Red 1969 Mustang 351 Cleveland 4V Mach 1. It only came with a black hood scoop on a black hood decal with a 351 badge on the side of the scoop.
IF you can even get a Mach 1. Ordered a 2021 and it got canceled a lot of Performance pack order's did. They offered me a 22 but I HAD to have Twister Orange. So I searched the entire US for a Twister Orange GT PP car and honestly, I don't see what these are going for over MSRP worth it at all. Glad I got what I did love the car to death.

it may be quite unpopular, but my favourite mustang is the Foxbody. its so small and light, and if you can figure out a way to swap that engine with a modern cayote, or even an ecoboost ( imagine how light that would be with the right suspension) its such a fuckin HHNNNGGGGGGHHHH perfect car
Glad I got my GT PP1 2019 when I did. Car runs great, and sounds excellent! Has active exhaust, and is a M6, total blast to drive with Magneride and the 401 package. Loaded to the max! The damn car gets awesome fuel mileage, and runs like a raped ape! Can't seem to come to terms with the $$ they are asking for the Mach, when my car will prolly blow them away with the better options. Damn Stealerships always wanting more for basically less! Beauty review though, wished it was the M6!
1:13 The Mustang 2 was exactly what the original 1965 mustang was all about it was Sporty affordable pony car not what the mustang had become later a big large muscle car. That’s why they sold do many compared to previous model years.
A great performance car. Has everything but the shaker hood. May not add a lot of performance but does add the Mach 1 character. It's the classic look of the Mach 1. Also, the sticker price is reasonable in my opinion. It's the " Greed " of the dealership to add on " Additional dealer profit ' or " Market adjustment " of $25K . The local Ford where I live are terrible with this. Hell, they add $50K on the GT500.
Mustang gt premium build 6 months ago had an msrp of $40,200. No the msrp of a GT premium is 42,295. A $2000 mark up directly from Ford. Terrible time to buy a mustang. when prices go back to normal and 93 octane goes back down to $3.50 in south Florida......I will get me a grabber blue s550 with the Cali special.
I could not agree more. There are so many little details ford could have done in the look’s department. Some kind of shaker hood on all the gt mods. Joe you should worked in the design department for ford. And always great job Lori.
My first new car before starting college and waiting for Vietnam was a 1969 Red with gold stripes 351 4V Cleveland Mach 1. Everyone keeps saying Ford didn't add the shaker hood. My new Mach 1 had a black hood scoop on a black hood decal. The only Mach I Mustangs with shakers were Cobra Jets and Boss Mustangs. Loved that car but had to sell it after a couple years because of life. I love the new version. The issues are finding one and the crazy dealer markups. The crazy thing is a solid 1969 Mach 1 cost more than this car
Love that sound the car it self looks great the design and style is cool yes it does need the shaker but with the support going across the engine you can't bumper so you need someone to do something with the computer and work some magic great work Lori and Joe Thank you both have a great day be safe happy healthy

A year later and glad i put my hands on a 2023 Race Red Mach 1 manual with handling package. The new ones are nice but they lost me with that interior .
My first Car was a 65 Mustang, then the next mustang I bought was a 92 Mustang 5.0 fastback. My current purchase will be a 22 Mustang GT. Cant afford the MACH 1.

70k plus a surplus gets you a Supra, M2, ttrs, and so on. Choosing a mustang over those cars is crazy to me lol

Personally my favorite model of this car is the Shelby gt500 mustang . I think Ford did a great job with the car by the way.

Not necessarily. I got my 21 GT without markup and the dealer dropped the 4K add on package. Got tint, pin stripes, security package included.

I love "on throttle!," even when Joe's excitement sometimes drowns out the loud exhaust note, but what about the break-in period suggested RPM limits?
A proper break-in avoids constant RPM. that is worse for an engine.

This vehicle is nice but not worth the price difference from a Mustang GT. You can buy a premium GT for about 35-40k. Not worth the extra 20k.
Joe. Do some research. Only the Cobra Jet and Boss Mustangs offered the shaker hood. My first new car before college and Vietnam was a Red 1969 Mustang 351 Cleveland 4V Mach 1. It only came with a black hood scoop on a black hood decal with a 351 badge on the side of the scoop.
IF you can even get a Mach 1. Ordered a 2021 and it got canceled a lot of Performance pack order's did. They offered me a 22 but I HAD to have Twister Orange. So I searched the entire US for a Twister Orange GT PP car and honestly, I don't see what these are going for over MSRP worth it at all. Glad I got what I did love the car to death.

Only thing else it should of come with is say 50-70 more horsepower so there is a clear difference in acceleration between it and a regular 10R80 GT.
it may be quite unpopular, but my favourite mustang is the Foxbody.
its so small and light, and if you can figure out a way to swap that engine with a modern cayote, or even an ecoboost ( imagine how light that would be with the right suspension) its such a fuckin

Glad I got my GT PP1 2019 when I did. Car runs great, and sounds excellent! Has active exhaust, and is a M6, total blast to drive with Magneride and the 401 package. Loaded to the max! The damn car gets awesome fuel mileage, and runs like a raped ape! Can't seem to come to terms with the $$ they are asking for the Mach, when my car will prolly blow them away with the better options. Damn Stealerships always wanting more for basically less! Beauty review though, wished it was the M6!

1:13 The Mustang 2 was exactly what the original 1965 mustang was all about it was Sporty affordable pony car not what the mustang had become later a big large muscle car. That’s why they sold do many compared to previous model years.

Great car but huge zonks for the lack of LED in the front turn signal and the embarrassing rear brakes.

This car is 100% worth every penny!it's really hard to not like a car like this.
A great performance car. Has everything but the shaker hood. May not add a lot of performance but does add the Mach 1 character. It's the classic look of the Mach 1. Also, the sticker price is reasonable in my opinion. It's the " Greed " of the dealership to add on " Additional dealer profit ' or " Market adjustment " of $25K . The local Ford where I live are terrible with this. Hell, they add $50K on the GT500.
Joe I think Ford should use you as a consultant. This car is about 95% the same as my 2015 GT minus the twin turbos and 940whp.
Bought a 21.5 GT antimatter blue. I was thinking of getting mach1 but decided to buy the GT with PP1 and added magneride.
That to me is the best value for the cash.

Mustang gt premium build 6 months ago had an msrp of $40,200. No the msrp of a GT premium is 42,295. A $2000 mark up directly from Ford. Terrible time to buy a mustang. when prices go back to normal and 93 octane goes back down to $3.50 in south Florida......I will get me a grabber blue s550 with the Cali special.
I could not agree more. There are so many little details ford could have done in the look’s department. Some kind of shaker hood on all the gt mods. Joe you should worked in the design department for ford. And always great job Lori.

Love that sound the car it self looks great the design and style is cool yes it does need the shaker but with the support going across the engine you can't bumper so you need someone to do something with the computer and work some magic great work Lori and Joe Thank you both have a great day be safe happy healthy

I ordered mine in September 2021. My order was just sent to the factory and is supposed to be built next week. Finally got a window sticker. I’m hoping I’ll have it mid August. Almost a year wait… 😣

A year later and glad i put my hands on a 2023 Race Red Mach 1 manual with handling package. The new ones are nice but they lost me with that interior .

My first Car was a 65 Mustang, then the next mustang I bought was a 92 Mustang 5.0 fastback. My current purchase will be a 22 Mustang GT. Cant afford the MACH 1.
