Awesome!
She’s indeed an awesome aircraft.
My first ride as a left seater, back in 1998.
Fond memories.
What a beautiful front view during takeoff. Another excellent video! Greetings from Argentina.
City is my favorite airport in Europe
I'd rather ride in a turbo-prop than just about anything else. Beautiful video, thank you so much!
The Fokker 50 is a special turboprop aircraft. Built like a brick...so tough and strong.
Wonderful plane....
Loved the video, great views of the Capital. Not a climb out to have engine failures!
What fabulous view from LCY
Beautiful views on take off. Thanks Quinny

"Parking break is shet, we're clear to shtart..." Captain Goldmember!
Great look at city center...
I like u content
British, polished and elegant even flying.
It's a great plane for STOL ...!! ( a pitty Fokker does not longer exist )
Thanks to the (now) powerfull P&W 125b Engines, an ideal Plane for short haul flights....!
Yes, I was sorry they didn't also record the approach and landing.
It has pretty good range too
Great high def video....:)
Nice view.
I remember the days when you could visit the cockpit, my wife worked at city airport years ago and i can actually say i been up front for a take off and a landing at this pukka little airport, its changed so much since the days of the dash 7which I’m sure was the first planes to use the airport, the views from up front are brilliant, especially landing, the runway looks so tiny, then came the whispering jets, brilliant airport, 🤟👍👍😎😎brings back some good memories.😎👍great vid....
Can I just say the landings and takeoffs on this channel are beautiful and inspiring 🤩 I love the content and I am on the road to get my ATPL. This channel really motivates me by seeing all the different, diverse and unique pilots, landing and taking off on amazing planes 🤩🤩😃 I genuinely decided to make my UA-cam channel based off this channel. I was soooo inspired so I made my channel completely based off this channel 👍 I was very inspired to make my vids based on your amazing vids 👌 a new video is dropping out tomorrow... love the content ❤️ (and planes)

the legendary fokker 50 , trust they dont phase them out just yet . is the captain wearing the standard uniform ?
It looked very cool and comfortable. Less military-like.
F50 is a great aircraft
Hi nice video 👌👌
The cockpit kinda looks like the md11 and dc10 and l1011
LCY is London's best airport for flyers to get to
Why was the Fokker 50 phased out of airline service much earlier than
the De Havilland Canada/Bombardier DHC-8 or even the ATR 42/72 series???
Good question. I cannot answer but maybe someone else is able to give us an explanation
Nice
ist auch ein gutews Flugzeug.
At the end, ATC cleared the aircraft to FL100, which in my experience is 10,000ft, why then did the altimeter wizz past 10,000ft? Confused!
@P Aguero ok fair enough, I may have misunderstood. Cheers pal
What was the open item mentioned during the pre-flight?
As I recall it was "position lights." In the US we call them "navigation lights," red on left (port) wingtip, green on right (stbd) wingtip, white on tail.
👍👍
Why do they report altitude in feet? Isn't metric the world standard?
It's feet in the US, so no, not "world."
In aviation they use feet and knots.
Почему не по русски???Где перевод??
I’ve never really understood what they’re doing at 12:51 can someone explain please :)
Adjusting the altimeter pressure from QNH to QNE
When they reached 6,000ft that was the transition altitude. They transitioned from regional QNH to standard pressure setting (which is 1013mb). Standard pressure is the same for all aircrafts after passing the transition altitude
Mubashar Yasin Thank you so much!

The Fokker, wtf?
Captain doing the checklists? Weird.
Depends on who's the Pilot Flying (PF) and Pilot Monitoring (PM). They switch duties during a duty day, sometimes even during the flight.
@@KutWrite exactly right.
F/O is driving.
The first officer is either bored or arrogant and his captain definitely doesn't like him lol.
First officer voice is so annoying😒
Why does he pronounce S after every damn word?!😂
Cause hes belgian
Loudest (and most annoying) commercial turbo prop ever produced...
Just my opinion, of course...
Why are you flying in this pandemic.. cruel and wicked
Who says this was recent?
it's not recent, and 2nd of all.... what's wrong with flying?
