Really resonated with the bit about hearing and discussing other people's experience who are new to the game. Get ready to eyeroll at the upcoming comparison but, that was one of the poignant things about Breath of the Wild - experiencing a largely single player game as a multiplayer experience.
Also, the legacy dungeon design alone makes it understandable why Elden Ring took so long to come out.
