I'm back from the summer break and I'm happy to announce that finally all my recordings are now available on almost every music platform, like Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, etc.
Next week, the long-awaited remake of "The Lion King" will be released. That's a good reason for me to finally do Hans Zimmer's only Oscar-winning music. For this video, I arranged and recorded the track "This Land", which is my personal favorite music from the film score. I hope you enjoy it!

I think this is the only soundtrack that makes you feel nostalgic, sad, depressed, and then enlightened, joyful and appreciative in one track
Exactly it changes your mood so much in one track, that’s why I think nobody could do it better than Hans Zimmer.
Love how the synthesia colours match the colour scheme of the Lion King. Great attention to detail! (As well as great arrangement, as always)

I swear, Hans Zimmer is the king of making hummable orchestrated songs. His work in the Lion King and the Prince of Egypt are some of my favorite soundtracks ever.

Yeah but I like Patrik’s song choice better. He does more epic movie stuff that sounds amazing, whereas Roseau does more classical stuff, which is good, but not as fun to listen to usually.

It's interesting how certain songs trigger certain memories. Memories you would've long forgotten. And then one day you're on youtube and hear a guy playing piano to a song you heard 100000x as a child and can recall specific memories. Thank you for taking me back in time.

Today I tried blindfolding myself and choosing a song from my subscription list at random to see who's music I really thought the most of. Hands doen Patrik Pietschmann. I've never eve heard of this song before, and now I'm in love with it.

You must just learn and play a lot only the difficult left hand, then the right hand and then mix them very slow.

Ich liebe außerdem den Minimalismus deiner Videos, das wirkt so edel und transportiert dadurch eine passende Stimmung. Freue mich immer schon, wenn etwas neues kommt und es gibt nur wenige Kanäle, wo ich mir dann wirklich mal die Zeit nehme, das Video in Vollbild und vielleicht auch mehrmals zu sehen.
