- 1st: thin shells ring
2nd: extremely difficult to remove the cable
3rd: fracture in right IEM
4th: minor inclusion or dust speck in left IEM
The treble on these things is really astonishingly awesome. Fit is very poor. And obviously they are fragile as hell. - Ігри
UPDATE: Apos confirmed my refund today! Big props to them. Highly recommend both them and Headphones.com for customer service.
Hi , how are these for technical death metal ?
I didn't play any of that in the time I had them, but I would say they would be great if not for being too fragile and also having weirdly weak bass. Something like the DUNU SA6 has similar treble (though not as extended) and has really good bass, probably would sound quite nice.
Did you dropped it or something? What is the cause of this crack?
I did not. The most impact they had were the normal touching from taking them in and out of my ears and placing them on my desk in in the case. APOS agreed the damage was not my fault and gave me a full refund.
The shell is EXTREMELY thin and the pin holes for the connector are very tight. I just can't recommend when the S8 exists and is great and reliable.
god, i really did put high hope for this one, seems like a disappointment... ty anyway
Maybe the next run will be more durable? I really did love the treble on these.
@@semirrahgewas the bass any good ad they advertised?
IMO no. The FR looks good but perceptually had less bass and less bass extension than my Moondrop S8 or DUNU SA6 - both with single BA drivers.
HBB said recently that Moondrop has bad quality control (he was talking about the more expensive solis II).
It's sad to see. My S8's are some of the best IEMs ever, IMO. The Solis II looks ugly and uncomfortable as hell.
a big crack?
Yep. The resin body is EXTREMELY thin. You can see by the size of the fracture line how thin the material is.
Did you complain at the local suier already?
Any replacement?
