I gotta just say. This is my favorite channel on the internet. But at the same time I am so fed up with the manufacturers I can’t enjoy my rv much longer. It has really affected my life. Yes I emphatically hate Forest River for what they are doing to me but I’m parked next to a 175 thousand dollar Grand Design and others that are just plane getting ripped off. This Grand design has the fridge in the back. The owner is very smart. When the fridge kept going out. Mind you he has not even traveled yet, it turns out they are using the wrong gauge wire and for too long of a distance. Also the fuse is supposed to be only so many feet from the fridge and it’s at the begging of the run. Another words an electrical nightmare. But they have not stolen money from them like Forest River is doing me. Isn’t that an awesome thing to be excited about. You guys are the best. That is all there is to it and many, many more are needed with your style of work ethics. Period.
@@blueoxontherun9188 trust me. You are the best. Others need to emulate your ways and work ethic. Maybe this could become as serious as the situation really is.
C4BO: Laurel and Pierre, you guys are fantastic! There is just no way the average RVer would find what you pick up on! Great job! Thank you for what you do!
We have to stay within a window of facts. From our findings, the consumer should make his or her own decision 🤔 we shouldn't influence their decision with our personal opinion 😉 don't you think ?
@@blueoxontherun9188 I understand that, it is their money. And I understand that your business depends on inspections to continue. I think as a consumer, thinking of the possible purchase, it would help them out if they knew ahead of time the percentage of "buy"/"not buy".
Trust me, we will never run out of work in this industry 😉...but the constant inconsistencies of manufacturers and price point quality people are looking at, doesn't permit us to tank any specific manufacturers as different units have totally different outcome every single time 🙂 Example: we did a Cougar Keystone 5th wheel yesterday, flawless...never happens...never!! We can't tell people what not to buy if it makes sense? There's something for every budget 🤔 and we probably inspect .001 % of units sold. Helping out one aware RVer at the time 🙂
It would be nice if you could add afterward a summary of what was done to fix the problems and whether or not the buyer followed through with the purchase or not?
Great job again! With that major crack in the front and the generator not working right, I hope the buyers realize they are not leaving today- unless they are fools. Since they hired you I would think they are not fools. I guess another Monday build.
88 hz. and no charging means the entire inverter/charger should be replaced. And every device that uses AC from it (fridge? washer?) is now questionable. There's no way to know if running at that frequency damaged electronics, unless you've got an EE degree.
Blue Ox I'm mad! Not at you but the platform your on. I do not know why I wasn't notified that you had a new video out. More than a few I subscribe to has dropped from subscription list and dropped from my notifications. I have had this issue for a while now. I have noticed a few things. It's the channels I almost always give a thumbs up to and leave a comment. Both of these help a channel grow or is supposed to. I love how you show what you do and how you are trying to educate us all. Plus it's also entertaining and Novell approach to making a somewhat dry topic be rather entertaining. Please keep up what you do as you are appreciated.
In my humble opinion, if you want a Newmar, you need to look at pre-Covid and pre-Winnebago ownership. So sad that my favorite RV company is no longer setting the standard others should aim for. 😢
I have to think that was a well worth the cost inspection you did for them, Spending that much money on a new rig you would hope that nothing would be found, but the Blue Ox team came through again! Thumbs Up
Based on where you said you were, I think you are at Motor Home Specialists. If so, even though this Superstar is a 2023 model, it would be considered used as MHS is not a Newmar dealer (last I knew). I am always suspect of a late model coach with such low miles. Napanee, In to Alvarado, TX is approx 1,051 miles and you said this coach had 1,300 miles so why would someone trade a coach with such few miles? Because maybe it is a lemon? I hope your client passed on this unit.
Their quality does not reflect the half million their asking, especially the electrical system. There's a reason why we have the Blue Ox on the run Inspection team . keep up the great work you two Hooha
I wonder if the dealer did a PDI before you did your checks? Some of what you both mentioned, the dealer should have caught/fix. So disappointed to see these issues in a half-million dollar rig.
At $500K there is no excuse for this coaching leaving the factory like this. Most of the items can be fixed by the dealer, but those cracks and the slides would most likely be factory repairs. Kent
I would definitely pass on this one. Fiberglass cracks on the cab over would be no go. Electrical issue could be remedied but unit may be in the shop for a long period to track down even if under warranty. May of affected the batteries life if they were AGM and discharged to low levels. All the other issues are disappointing to see how Newmar has seemed to drop in quality. With all that being said it looks like your customer purchased the unit anyway based looking at the unit on the web site as sold. Hope they got one heck of a deal since it will probably be out of service for six months getting fixed and then you still have a questionable unit.
Disappointed to see such issues on a brand new Superstar. That Alvarado dealer has been there a long time, and I would have expected better of them, too.
I am more and more convinced that RV manufacturing out to offer a bare bones unit that you or your crew can build and produce, cause these new units are the equivalent to a Fiat
You folks take yourselves way too seriously. Get over yourselves, it's just an RV and who cares if you dropped 500k on it? If you can't afford it, don't buy it. Besides, it's under warranty 🤣😂🙃

My thought process as well 😅 😉
Wow, that cracked fiberglass is a big deal!! Hopefully Newmar will replace that. Great job team!
I'm sure they will 😉
Have you ever done a Nexus Super C?
Doing another one this coming Monday as well 😉
C4BO. What a beautiful motorhome. I have no idea where one goes with something this nice. Do not see them at the state parks we go.
Hell no 🤣🤣
C4BO: Laurel and Pierre, you guys are fantastic! There is just no way the average RVer would find what you pick up on! Great job! Thank you for what you do!
If we can also teach what to look for...we didn't do this in vain 😉
C4BO Nice Job!
Based on your experience, what percentage of the RV's you inspect, are ones you advise the potential purchaser to buy?

If one is constantly inconsistent, would that actually make them consistent?
Yeah right 😔😁

We've heard that about UA-cam lately 🤔

You said it 😉
Hi, I thought you might want to know that each time I watch u on the TV I have to resubscribe. I'll continue, it's just so weird. Thanks 👋😊
We've heard this from other subscribers, we're sorry and wish we knew what was going on.
The fiberglass cracks on the cab over would be very concerning to me,
Maybe it's time to also reflect on their sub you're saying 🤔?
500,000.00 or 600,000.00 PDI doesn't exist what a shame. Good job as usual.
The fiberglass cracks would have to be a no go for me. 😧
Definitely an eye opener for quality control 🤔 right?
Another shower pin hole. 🙄🙄🙄
Those cement pad mattresses are no fun to sleep on 😮❤! Tell it like it is Lauren
🤣🤣
The stow and go was very good , but if the rest was just as good as the stow go was , but it wasn't so its a big bust .
Montana is called Big Sky.. 😂
I would pass on that unit - too many issues.
CB4O
Another great video.
Even Newmar pdl doesn't work either!!! If I done work that was That bad I would have been fired on the spot!!!!
I have to think that was a well worth the cost inspection you did for them, Spending that much money on a new rig you would hope that nothing would be found, but the Blue Ox team came through again! Thumbs Up
Definitely was
Very disappointing for the price. It would be a NO for me.
I hope they got a good deal. We would have not buy this unit for sure. The crack in the fiberglass is very concerning. Again, great video.
Thanks 😁
They did buy the unit...great deal I heard 😉
C4BO. ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Who had that coach before?
Directly from Nappanee. Newmar.
It's hard to believe how many showers leak on these rigs!
500,000 for quality like this, no, this boy would have to walk away, now mind you, there is no way that I would ever pay that much for a RV period.
BUST, for over a half a million dollars you have got to be kidding me! RUN!
This is an example of what is being put out now days. Too bad but it was predicted.
Supreme Aire for me or a Renegade Explorer ❤❤❤❤
Explorer all day
Oh boy!

Nice coach. Amazing $500K and the shower leaks like all the rest.

Who wouldn't"t spend $500,000 dollars to get a free coke.
That right there sounds like a mess -Not seeing the difference Newmar 🤷♀️⭐️

Like they do a thorough PDI !! 🤣

Your generator needs adjusting to get your 60 hertz

The great era of Newmar is over

We can't blame the dealership...this was all Newmar issues in my mind 🙂
It's hard to see a half million dollars of value in this unit. The fiberglass Crack is especially disappointing.
I am more and more convinced that RV manufacturing out to offer a bare bones unit that you or your crew can build and produce, cause these new units are the equivalent to a Fiat
Mercy, mercy.Newmar is ruining their reputation... ;(
Another dud for me especially at $500k
Looks like it was a show model. They take a beating and are supposed to be sold as used.
C4BO. My two favorite rv inspectors! I used to think Newmar was the best out there no longer. Pass on this beautiful piece of 💩!
Sad 😔 😟
C4BO
They'll give you a free diet coke😂. Another bust for me. Too many problems especially for the price!
lol I would do anything for a Diet Coke in a can that is ice cold. Or fountain Diet Coke from McDonald’s is the best. Lamo
One Expansive BUST for me, when you find that many little things, don't it make you wonder what you what can't see??? JUST SAYING.
