Thanks to internet I finally find the flute piece I listened to in the next room 20 years ago when I was a kid
I was playing clarinet back then
Sir James Galway!!!
We are proud as flute players to have an amazing flute master
Yes, we are proud as musicians to have an amazing flute master, we are blessed to have Pahud 🥰
Studying this piece for my grade 7.... the way he plays makes me dream!!! such beauty!
Sir James Galway!
Your tone will stay alone for many years to come. There is no one can match this intensity and vibrato reflecting HUMAN VOICE !!!
BRAVISSIMO from your long time fan !!!
hear Emmanuel Pahud and you will change your mind, they are both the definition of what can be made on flute.
Kemuel Ruiz Dorta pahuds tone isnt as vocal on most recodings. maybe its different live, it probably is for sure. his tone sounds super basic at first compared to galway. give it time and one can see how he is so successful
Have heard both live ..Galway more so back in his heyday...G might be preferable on refinement...perhaps P has more power.
Master of the World!!
Sublime as always! Bravo.
Beautiful! They should say above who the pianist is - this is a partnership piece. I understand it's Phillip Moll.
I get weary of the common omission of the pianist's name.
I am playing this sonata on my senior recital. What a great example of how it should be done! Absolutely beautiful.
Belfast should be proud - his playing is always sublime.
I have heard so many famous flutists perform this piece, and the second movement is the one I listen for in deciding which ones I prefer. Sir James Galway's interpretation of this movement is the one I prefer above the others. His tone and dynamics are fabulous, but what makes his performance unique is his expression. His emotion comes through with every single note! Amazing!!! He is a such a lovely person it comes through in his playing all the time ❤
I adore your playing and aspire to be this amazing, i'm playing this piece in my grade 7 exam and you just make it sound like art
Inspirational.
He's not too worried about dynamics and I like that!
Absolutely sublime❤️
So many years since I heard him play: like a good wine or cheese he has improved beyond measure!!!
good OMG.fantastic
Holy crap I need to play this
Beautiful

I bet he's not Playing a James Galway" flute from Conn. I have a JG3 flute and its garbage.
No hi ha res pitjor que tocar la flauta i no coneixer la seva naturalesa.
Herrendous and revolting
In what way?
@@somebody9033 in every meaningful way, like usicality, tone quality, tone colours
@@alhdgysz OK, what exactly about his tone do you not like?
Jealous?
@@lindaginther4940 for what exactly? Nowadays every student is tought to do the exact opposite of what he does (vibrato, throat, lips).
