How beautiful and mysterious sound of Mr. Galway's flute! I'm sure that no flutist can make such tone except for Mr.Galway. he is a true genius of music as same as Horowitz or Perlman. I've heard that he practices almost every day. He is also a man of effort. So, he was able to raise up this lovely little song "Madrigal" to extreme high position.
In spite of 74 years old, he is keeping the best position as a musician. I have been supporting him for over 40 years and then I shall continue. By the way,The name of my mail address is "galwayera". To tell the truth,I wished the simple name of "galway". But this name had been already used by an other British person.

The tone that you have is just beautiful. The sound isn’t airy which is really good. I’m thinking about doing this song for solo and ensemble. This is just an amazing example of how to play it!

Unbelievable how the lowest notes carry such volume and tone. They pop and make the flute almost sound like an alto.

Boaring, so I will hear through this with knowing what these flute and piano men are - just a man.
Heard this twice and still sounds same.
Too much Bel Canto vibrato, takes away from the pure,tone, and tonal color variations,
I agree, I prefer the late Fenwick Smith's version
