I just bought a P with dlc barrel aluminum frame and x series serrations and the G2 tac grip about 2 months ago and I couldn't be happier. Great video man
I just bought a Staccato P DPO last week. I regret for waiting too long before buying. STI/Staccato are such nice guns, worth selling everything else I have for this. Hope to by the Staccato XC next year!
Looking at the Staccato P, but I'm still a bit confused between the DPO and the DUO models. Both seem to require plates for the red dots, but do both accept the same plates?
Yes, both should take the same plates, the only difference that I found was that the DPO models do not come with the plates unlike the older DUO models that did come with plates already included. However, if you choose to use an optic with the DPP (Leupold Delta Point Pro) footprint, then you will not need a plate because the Staccato's are milled out for the Delta Point Pro.
Bro I love this video review and comparison! I can relate because my everyday carry is a G45 and 19x AIWB. I'm wanting to pick up a Staccato once I find a good deal (it's hard in Cali because I have to go through a private party which they usually upcharge tf out of it). I'm leaning more towards the P over the C2. Coming from the G45 would you recommend the P over the C2? And if so Steel or Aluminum P?
Coming from the G45, for me, the biggest differences was the slide length, grip and weight. Grip length was about the same, and I actually feel as if the P is easier to conceal than the g45 because of the Glock grip angle. However, the P feels much heavier than the G45, but not too heavy compared to the C2. I would recommend the P over the C2 because the conceal-ability is about the same if you are carrying appendix, and in my opinion the P shoots a tad bit smoother than the C2. I like both, but since I also compete with my carry gun I enjoy the advantages of the longer slide and a little bit heavier weight. I have never tried a steel Staccato P but I really do enjoy the Aluminum one, so I would recommend the Aluminum. Honestly, the weight and feel of the P in my opinion is the perfect weight and balance for a pistol. Let me know what you end up getting!
@@scienceofarms Thanks so much for that info helps me so much and makes a lot of sense! Same with me, I always want my carry gun to be the gun I train and compete with the most. Definitely going to go with the P and I hope I can get my hands on the aluminum frame. If not I will probably settle for the steel if that's all that's available. Appreciate it man
@@scienceofarms your welcome, I just happen to have one in the same configuration, btw can you please provide me round count and how many issues you have had so far..... Mine has 1210 rounds (federal hst,Speer lawman mainly used) so far I have had only 3 issues( 2 fte, 1 ftf). I am really surprised that how reliable an entry level 2011 with tight tolerances and fitting is......
@@krishankansal86 Nice! I have only had about 500 rounds through it so far, I have fed a mixture of Winchester 115, Monarch 124, and a really cheap Viper 124 with no issues. Interestingly the Viper kept having light primer strikes with my Glock 45, it was so bad that I was having primer issues every 1/10 rounds with the Glock, but when I ran 200 rounds of it with the Staccato it ran fine. The only problem with the Staccato is that I have been having trouble getting the slide to lock back after the last round.
The Staccato P is the best gun for the money (in comparison to other 2011 in same price range ex Dan Wesson, Wilson Combat, etc..)
Great detailed unboxing! I bought my Staccato C2 Duo last year, it is my carry gun, I absolutely loves it.
You'll Love your Staccato! A firm belt is always recommended no matter what you carry! Enjoy!

Great unboxing.
I just bought a P DPO, threaded barrel, from Dawson Precision.
Hope to pick it up Tuesday.
I have QVO discreet coming for it.
Nice! Let me know how you like that QVO, I currently use a Tenicor malus sol.
I just love the staccato p, I wish I can afford it.
You should do a comparison for CARRY between Staccato P and C2!

I just bought my Staccato P, next year I'm definitely getting C2 for EDC. How long was the wait?
Drop your mags on the ground? Get a good duty belt or gun belt with a drop mag pouch. Trust me you’ll thank me later!

Is the steel or aluminum frame
