- The weather is making its move and so am I. Time to start getting my toys out and serviced before winter. I’m super excited to finally get this bushing fixed. And next up on the chopping block is the fordson tractor, should I find the motivation to do so.

You can't hardly kill a Honda Fourtrax, any year, any size. I have seen them abandoned in the woods, drug out, and with minor repairs they were back on the trail. If you were closer I would offer to buy the CR80 but I am in Arkansas.

Sounds really good Jay.Saw a kit of steel staple/potato masher looking things for @$4 on 'Temu' sight.Those and some JB Weld will make the cover last.A quick respray will make it newish again.Happy Trails.

Rode one of these during a trip to Vegas during a day trip out of the city. Definitely enjoyed the ride!

Jay, have you ever seen any of the 3-wheel off-road bikes? They were popular years ago, but around 1978, they were banned, cause too many tipped over if you weren't careful.

Not an expert but my guess >> the work to try and get the old paint off is probably equal the effort to prep it for new paint. I've painted my son's Kawaski a while back with Krylon and it held up pretty well. Some I see really like Rust-Oleum too. Whichever I can get cheaply or on sale at the Depot or O-O-O'Reilly's would be my first choice LOL. Have you tried a plastic welder to get some more like out of the shell? I've seen a Weller brand on sale around me in the last year or so. $40? I forget.
I have had Krylon dissolve the old paint layer-depends what brand was used- but I have had good results with Rust-Oleum or Painters' Touch
Try some Linseed oil on those plastic panels. I put it on my black plastic trim on my vehicles once a year. Works great
Still got those sic camaro wheels on that Pontiacs! 😆

Check EBay, they pop up occasionally on there. Make sure you’re searching for “ Honda Fourtrax Type ii”
You should take the seat off and take it to a local upholstery shop and have it reupholstered.
