Yup. Bought mine at a Bass Pro shop. They have a huge assortment of cast iron pots and pans and such. They’re made to withstand being used outdoors in pretty tough conditions. We’ve had it for almost two decades. It’s been with us on countless camping trips. It sits on my stove top all the time because I make sourdough and rustic breads in it nearly daily. Also great for stews and chilli and slow cooked meats, etc. Just needs a bit of an oiling now and again. It’s perfect. Gets better with age. And I think it cost us $40 on sale, maybe? I know it wasn’t expensive.
I worked at a children’s store and a good rule for most children is to get the size ahead of their age, if they are six months go for the nine months size. I miss your mom, would love to see more of her when she visits. Your new kitchen is really bringing out the chef in you, congratulations on yet another talent that you have.
If you heat up the Dutch oven first and then put the dough in parchment into the hot pot, cover for most of the cooking time then take the lid off for the last bit, you will get a really nice crust on the bottom.

@@xomacennavlogs Try going to Once upon a child. It’s a thrift store chain for just kids stuff. You could also look for a more local brand for just kid stuff too. Hey girl, a good tip for your enamel cast iron of any brand… making bread is at a high temp so dark on the inside and cheaper is best for bread baking… also don’t have to cook as long bcuz it’s dark on the inside, and one you will use for making soups and stews and homemade spaghetti sauce… I promise you will get there soon when you realize you don’t want to put all that extra crap into his little pure system and you can make it on your own. Cross stitch is with embroidery thread typically, and it is literally little stitches that form an x crossing over one another on fabric either marked with design or counted. Needlepoint is a heavier yarn-like thread on a grid background typically stitched on an angle from an upper row to a lower row. Embroidery uses lots of different stitches with cross stitch typically being a fairly basic often used stitch. It is difficult to tell on screen, but the top of this stocking could be embroidered. The body by appearance and those viewed purchased in the past seem to be needlepoint. You will sometimes find needlepoint seats or seats and uppers on chairs.
It’s fun to see you embracing more colour with your decor. Being perfectly frank, if you had bought yet another cream, or blue and white item for that kitchen, I would have deflated a bit. I understand and respect being disciplined with what we bring into our interiors, but you love thrifted items because they have so much more character and personality and speak to a history of a life lived …. If we’re always passing things by because they don’t “go with the theme” then our homes can become catalogue sets rather than living, breathing, organic reflections of who we are as the people who live there. The odd piece that “doesn’t go” gives spaces that bit of je ne sais pas, that hit of design umami. I internally cheered when you went with the red. It’s a beautiful piece. Bread making is very satisfying. It’s a journey like all things we do by hand, but well worth it. I haven’t bought bread from a store in so long I can’t rightly say just how long it’s been. My Dutch oven isn’t fancy. Just a simple black lodge one. It lives on the stove top because it’s used nearly daily. They’re work horses in a kitchen. I hope yours will serves you just as well 😊
A couple of years back I was driving at a snail’s pace down a small, residential street, when from behind a hedge fence a ball came rolling onto the street, closely followed by a small child. With 0.5 seconds to react, had I not had my eyes on the road and my hands on the wheel, it wouldn’t have mattered if I were going 70 mph instead of 20. That child would have ended up under my car. Just maybe something to think about.
Really, MaCenna is a highly responsible person! New car technology throws us all for a loop! Her vehicle likely has driver’s assistance technology! It’s odd to see, I agree! ❤
There are many vloggers that attempt to drive, talk, and film. Tech on vehicles has nothing to do with following the law and common sense. If drivers end up harming someone, a judge will be reminding them of consequences. Why not just do the safe choice to begin with??? If you would not attempt to drive, film and talk while your children are in the backseat, then why would you choose to do so otherwise??? Tech is not a justification. Be responsible adults.

I’ve just started making bread but wanted something simple
In a semi late bowl mix
3 cups of flour all purpose flour
1 tsp of salt
1 tsp of yeast
Mix in bowl keeping ingredients dry
The add
1 1/2 cup of hot water (temp 140)
If too hot it affects the yeast & won’t rise
Add water to fry mixture, mix well but don’t over mix
Cover and let rise 2-3 hrs in warm place ( I find 2 is good)
Preheat oven to 450 and put Dutch oven in to heat up
Just before putting dough in Dutch oven remove from bowl with scraper onto parchment paper that was pre measured and floured
Put dough in middle
Take scraper and drag through flour pulling side up to middle, do all four sides (you can repeat)
Take scraper under loaf, should come up easy and flip over do no seams
Take a sharp floured knife and cut a design
Have very, very good iven mits and lift parchment and doughy into Dutch oven
Make sure parchment not covering bread as won’t brown. Place lid on and bake 30 min. When timer goes off remove lid and brown 10 min ( the darker it is the harder to cut)
Now you have a crusty round artisan loaf of bread

I was thinking something similar since her mom is there...she could go over the colors and tone them more to MaCenna's palette.
Lodge makes a great cast iron dutch oven for so little dollars.
I'm glad🎉 you got the red Dutch oven. It goes with your tea kettle
Oh my! I love the Carters clothes. My sons wore that and Osh Kosh as well. Such cute and super comfortable outfits. Have a lovely visit with your Mom.
Oh my, all that Spode Christmas at the Estate Sale made me wish I was there.
Omg please put your hands on the wheel you make very unsettled when driving glad mums comming
In my experience, the darker colors for cast iron work better….the light colors stain readily. It’s enough to keep the interior clean!!
P.s. check if you have a Once Upon a Child and Kid to Kid. They buy clothes and will have tons of options for Christmas outfits. Also Marshall's has really cute stuff too!
The christmas stocking is needlepoint, not cross stitch
I hope yours will serves you just as well 😊
I LOVE the color of that Dutch oven in your kitchen!! I hope you find more cookware that color. 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ohhhhhh, I loooooove the tablecloth! You always score when it comes to estate sales. ❤👍🏼
Love the tablecloth❤❤, is a good find!
@@MinaLee61 No one is accusing her of being irresponsible.
@@MsMVH Ok, read all response’s!
@MinaLee61 you missed my point to *you* entirely.
