Better yet, "Heretic" and "Longlegs" will be great double bill features. The only thing is "Heretic" doesn't come out until November 15th😅

I have a feeling this has the same plot like The Skeleton Key and Get Out, especially when Brandy says “she wants you to think it was me”.

@@juanitawashington106Actually, right after she says that, she also says, “she wants to replace me.” So I further suspect this is a body swap horror flick.

@@PragmaticAddictyeah I just don’t agree. A24 is overrated. I’m tired of getting excited for things because it’s supposedly from a good company that’s known for blah blah blah and then the last couples movies from A24 were just ok, nothing special.
But you are welcome to ur opinion and I’m sure many people think it’s going to be good.

@@forestpark73 it looks different from what I’d typically expect from an Eggers picture, definitely agree with what people are saying how it feels something along the lines of Get Out, with the themes of racism, the dark comedy of it, but with it being from A24, I’m hoping they go really nutso with it lol.

Who knows. I dont know why it looks like a knock in the style of hereditary.
I just have so many questions - what’s all gonna transpire, what’s the secret behind the woman, how could this seemingly normal husband POSSIBLY come from this woman.. Also I’m just a sucker from creepy old lady movies lol and the blends of dark humor and themes of the film like the racism, possession.. it just seems like such a batshit crazy film.

This looks cool to me or it has the potential to be cool and weird and maybe even funny?? Who knows I just think it looks interesting to me and a tone that’s not typical for a horror film. But I hope this movie hits! Robert Eggers is my favorite working directors right now. I fucking love his movies and Max has helped him write some of his other films. (I think The Lighthouse) but if this is good then the whole Eggers family needs to come out of the woodwork and start making shit because they must have some gene in them or something. 😂
Yeah! When I heard that the brothers of Robert Eggers are making their debut, being a horror film from A24 - I expected something promising, but not this lol… This film looks like an absolute blast though!

It was definitely a packed trailer. I’m hoping they got plenty more to show. And with the film just coming out in a couple months, I’m hoping this is the only trailer we get.

@@kaleahcollins4567I disagree.. this is an indie horror film - Beetlejuice is a Tim Burton film. They’re in two different categories. A24 has a massive following, especially when it comes to their horror films. Plus, these directors are in relation to Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse, upcoming Nosferatu) who is a highly respected director working today.
