- Luffy gets his first wanted poster and bounty! It's so great to compare this scene with the Live Action and to be able to draw even more out between the two! The strawhat crew sets sail for the Grand Line, but first, a few adventures with Ironfist Fullbody and a pit stop at Loguetown, coming right up! It's all finally happening, and I'm just along for the ride!

LA wanted to do Loguetown, they asked for 10 eps..
Now starting S2 with Loguetown is cool as well, Gold Roger's presence to resume it all over again is great.
I think you're right that not as many people are interested in a viewing a "second time watching" but your format and commentary is unique and I think it would fit. You've always said you were on the journey for yourself so be like Luffy and take whatever path feels right.
I would maybe wait until a bit further into the series though. Not because of spoilers but just because you will have and even better picture of the world and have more to say in your live action review.
Edit: on the other hand maybe it's better to do it while it's fresh, I have no clue 😂
Live Action definitely kept in mind a number of thinks that were developed further into the story and worldbuilding, so I agree waiting to do another watch react of Live Action could be prudent,
It's interesting to note that Luffy's bounty could have been higher since the marines were not entirely aware of Luffy beating Alvida, Captain Kuro, and Arlong paying off Nezumi. Cant wait for uncharted territory!
Good catch, even they mentioned that while 30 million is a lot for the East Blue, it's not exactly outrageous. Wild to imagine it might have been higher!
Not until ep 68 - 69 you will be free of the things that was included in the LA. From here on to ep 67 including a simple filler arc, things are new, then those two 68-69 are what you know about.
Though ep54-55 has some major canon stuff, for world building..
Loguetown: the city of beginning and end.
The ProLOGUE and EpiLOGUE town.
Little heads up for you: they are some filler episodes in One Piece and they are fun to watch. They give a sense of fresh air from the story with some fun world knowledge and some fun places. Give them a try.
I'd totally love to watch a second watchthrough of the live action! Even the anime is great for rewatching it over and over again since there always come new revelations up.
Logue town is still my fave name of any town in the series. Its so clever and an Epilogue/prologue to so many things simultanously

I think my goal with a second (or second hundredth) viewing is not to preset thoughtful commentary on what I'm seeing, but trying to be a conduit for what I was feeling when I sat down to watch each episode.
More of a truncated storytime of sorts, but with a sprinkle of commentary as well!
It should be a lot of fun!

Loguetown is such a cool short arc, so much will happen there O.o
This period when the crew is just the East Blue five makes me think of the more unhinged moments of freshman year of college: a bunch of young adults on their own with zero supervision for the first time.
A question for you, and forgive me if this has been brought up already and I missed it: Oda does mini arcs on the covers of manga chapters filling in little gaps of what some characters are doing. The anime only covered the first two of those arcs. Would you want to be told when those cover arcs come up? Or leave it as something for when you get to the manga?
Uncharted territory, here we come!

First of all I admire your dedication to the reaction and thank you for all your effort. I just wanted to ask is it this episode or the next that we are getting into your unseen territory for the anime?
Apart from the Barrel scene at the end of OPLA and the reveal of Smoker (which I've just now met in my recordings), everything from this point on is new. The only thing that might be familiar is when we get to Garp, Koby, and Helmeppo in the anime.
But I consider the end of this episode really the end of the scope of the OPLA, with the final moments being more like the setup for season 2.

Off subject of this particular episode, but I was just thinking today, i hope you stay away from ANY visuals from the current anime season, because just one image will be a spoiler.
I'm sure it's almost impossible to stay away, and you may have already seen what I'm talking about, but I'm just giving you a heads up. Even the latest volume of the manga has a big spoiler on the cover.
