Another great ambassador of Jamaica in Saudi Arabia sending a great message to his people back home living together in unity. Thank you that message sinks in. There nothing that makes a great country than unity and love for one another. Continue to shine your country touch brightly wherever you find yourself in the world God bless you brother.
Thanks for a great video. My husband lived in Saudi for a while. This was interesting, thank you Kevin. Xavier you are a great host, so friendly and you put your guests at ease. Keep the videos coming. 😀👏🏽👏🏽
Just for information Xavier is also Javier. There were two boys at my nephew's baptism. The priest had Xavier (Zayvier -- English pronounciation) and Javier (Havier-Spanish pronounciation). Both baby boys are named for St. Francis Xavier or St. Francisco of Javier, Spain. He was part of the founders of the Catholic priestly order called the Society of Jesus or the Jesuits.

As Jamaicans we're probably one of the most adaptable people in the world and we're not afraid of getting involved in any circumstances and are ready to make whatever adjustments that may require us to make sure we get involved with our surroundings 🇯🇲🇯🇲💯
he look like he comes from there so that is most likely why they ask him if he is sure, I'm in Jamaica and I am muslim and wear what they wear in Saudi and my Jamaican people always ask if I'm sure I'm from here and if my parents are Jamaican lol, and they have Jamaican restaurant in Jeddah , or they had one a few years ago that was there for at least 10 years but that was like 4years ago since ive been.
This is why we should welcome returnee..their are many people that have to strike out to survive. They are somewhat sacrificing their lives so that younger generations can find jobs. Their comes a time they want to come home.
You would love keezi walks on the YT. He walks around the world in silence, and you can mute the street noises, if the honking gets too much in some cities.
Strangely enough that happens here in Argentina too. There are few Jamaicans here and we all know each other so when an Argentine tells me they've a Jamaican and the description doesn't match any of us I know it's an African pretending to be Jamaican. Some Haitians do it too. It's as you said to be perceived better because here too they love the idea of Jamaica. They have even started visiting.
@@kevinthomas5118 So is it true that women in Saudi women cannot make a decision without consulting a male?? Women must be covered from head to toe as well. Please clarify.
@@MsGaynorlee No. it’s part from the Arabian bedouin traditions and beliefs many or most of Saudi women cover up but it’s completely their choice to do so as long as they dress modestly. As a foreign you get to wear anything you want as long as you’re not disrespectful to our traditions. Plus Saudi women don’t need permission from men to do anything they want. Yes there was a male guardian law before but it’s now completely abolished.
I'm sorry but I have to address the elephant in the room and I'm not trying to be mean but what is this look he has going? Is it a disguise? Do people really wear mustaches like that in real life? The hair? Do forgive me if it seems rude as I'm sincerely curious about this look. And why is he calling the host Javier? He says his name is Xavier.
You’d be surprised how many people in the world wear mustaches like that-mine is nothing compared to some I’ve seen. And please don’t be sorry about addressing aspects of the program, but best to focus on its content rather than appearances-and I understand you may be curios about it-it’s certainly not a disguise, just a look. You are right about the pronunciation of the host’s name; that was a mistake in my part, and thank you for bringing it to my attention.
@@kevinthomas5118 aww Kevin thanks for not being upset and providing some perspective. I really was just curious to be honest. I have not seen that kind of style in real life so I was taken aback. Not sure Saudi Arabia is my cup of tea but always interesting to hear how people adapt in these kinds of foreign lands that are so different from the usual Anglo Saxon places Jamaicans generally migrate to. Best wishes with life over there, you really seem to love it!

The tallest building in Saudi Arabia was designed by a Jamaican architect from Chicago
You mean Jamaican decent, if they’re from Chicago they’re not from Jamaica, it’s one or the other. Or decent or diaspora
