Are you on the coast? I lived in Tillamook for a few years and did alot of riding up the Kilches and up the Trask. I am thinking about moving back.....
Thats some tight single track but groomed nice. Looks like west of I5 somwhere with all that vegetation. Like on the ocean almost. How do you guys get such clear voice sound recording in real time over the sound if the bike? Some sort of high end system or just good mics and noise cancelation and vox?
Thanks for commenting! I use a SENA 30k and using an audio splitter I plumb it into my gopro. It works pretty well most the time. Sometimes it works perfect and other times not quite so well. I think the Sena intercom has some kind of noise canceling technology that works on the helmet mic. These trails are pretty good for the most part, but like most, it can get sketchy at times but that's why we ride offroad. 😉
It brings XC-W back to close to XC horsepower values, but it is a smoother response for better traction output. So, while it brings a lot of power back, the XC still should have a stronger "hit". Good question!
I love those two stroke sounds. I am waiting for the snow level to move up a little here to get the Beta 300RR back out on the trails.

I ordered a map switch for my xc-w. I feel like it would be pretty fun just to chop the throttle and get it a little more attitude.

What gearing are you running? I’ve just switched to 13/48 in my 300 TBI and it’s added an awesome amount of snap
I recognize those trails. Glad you are enjoying riding your bike. I don't even want to try a TBI because I know it will put a hole in my wallet.😂

Do you recommend the full $450 programmer, or just getting your ECU flashed by them with the standard two maps?
