I'm not really into trivia games, but a looot of people are. And - at least in my country - they are often played during the holiday season. With the right marketing I think this could become a smash hit.
If there aren’t enough cards, that’s a deal breaker for me when it comes to party games- especially if you play as a family or in a regular group. Some of Big Potato’s games are really fun- like Herd Mentality, but after 5-6 plays, you’ve seen everything.
Yeah, there's only 120 cards in the base game. You could always add cards from other games. I picked up the raunchy "I Wish I Didn't Know That" trivia game from Target for $5 (sale); which had 500 cards/questions. The questions from here actually so much more fun compared to the more mundane original game.
my problem with the game was that the questions were so esoterical, snakes just had to sit back and don't do anything. Making the winners the lucky ones who ended up as snakes more times... Because it's really a 1 in 3 chance. no one of the humans knows anything about the right answer most times...
For that price not including a ⌛ timer ist bad...on a game night I don't want to unlock my phone for the timer all the time. Besides that its a nice Werwolf lite
To know that they're not a snake, so not trying to con you into believing a wrong answer. If they say they think A is true, they're not lying. They might still be wrong, but...
The small amount of components means you can take Snakesss on a Plane.
Not sorry.
Could someone please post a link to the live play of Snakesss? A quick UA-cam search gave no joy.
it is the video titled "Summer Spectacular Live Play Deadpool vs The World" last third of the video
@@james-s3362 thanks

The cards have sharp corners. That's a bummer.
Yeah, why aren't they rounded?
Is there a comparison to be made with Deception: Murder in Hong Kong?

If they ever make an after dark version they should name it Hot Snakes *giggles*

Not enough games with mongooses, the best animal
@Gankatron 5000 nope, its mongooses
@Gankatron 5000 fun fact, a group of mongooses is called a "mob"
I feel as though games like Balderdash and Wise and Otherwise did this same exact thing much better.
If it has Phil Walker-Harding on the box, then it can’t be all bad.
Actually, the snakes get just 1 point per non-snake player that got the answer wrong, not 2 points.
Badger badger badger badger
Mushroom Mushroom
Snaaaaake snaaaaake ohhhh it's a snaaaaaake
Im not really understanding the purpose of the mongoose at all - i might have missed something

@@RaduStanculescu thanks that makes sense now
Seems like this game is ripe for expansions
I clicked to watch this review thinking the first of the three 's' is an 'a'.
That's a totally different game...
You lost me at social deduction
tbh I think its not quite social deduction
