Aww this reminds me of when I got my beardie 11 years ago. Definitely don't be afraid to hold him. He needs to comfortable with human contact so it's just better to tame them when they're young. Btw not trying to tell you what to do or anything you obviously did a lot of research before buying him. Luv you and your videos.

Dubia roaches love the dark so if you can cover the container in something dark, they will breed even faster. There are moisture pellets you can get for them which are really good for keeping them hydrated. They also love to hide and eat carrots.

      That size dubia dont breed
You need them to be like 1.5inches to 2inches and they need 80°F , a monochrome dark sterilize 5 gallon with egg carton

Bowser is sooo cute! I recently started breeding Dubias! I have 20 pregnant Adult females and 10 adult Males. I keep them in an 18 gallon Rubber maid plastic tub with Organic soil and multiple Egg cartons for Hiding spaces! I also added a plastic Tupperware lid to put Potatoes, Carrots, Zucchini, Cucumber, Peaches on for them to feed on and stay hydrated. I also drilled some small holes in the Rubbermaid enclosure for air flow. Breeding Dubias is pretty easy all together. It’s been between 85 and 95 degrees where I live so I keep the tub on my porch. I also keep a hydrometer/thermometer to track their temps and Dubias love darkness and humidity so that’s very important for breeding them!

Aww he’s so cute! I remember when my bearded dragon (Fury) was this small. Letting you know as he gets older his poops are going to be so much bigger! Fury poops like a dog😂 but what is really for me is we trained her to poop on a paper towel so we can pick it up and throw it away! Just a little suggestion because Fury used to poop in her food bowl and now that she is bigger it gets super hard to clean up because it gets in the cracks and crevices of the food bowl😊😅

My family and I used to breed dubias. We had blacked out containers with screens anout three inches from the bottom. We had a finely milled powder for the bottom and layered cardboard egg cart up. We had gel water for them, powder food, and we gave raw veggies and nutrients. Make sure when they start breeding, you take the babies out as you see them to their own container. The adults will eat them. As a recommendation, when your baby is ready for a cage upgrade, the front opening Zilla terrariums are a dream. Feeding, cleaning, and handling is much more comfortable for the beardie because you're coming into their environment on their level, as opposed to above them where they perceive threats. Good luck, he's very cute 😊

So cute! I love when they eat and crunch their bugs. My little beardies hatch date was 3/11 😊 mine is pretty little too. Just wanted to give you a heads up that other people who have owned that may have said that it is hard to disinfect and clean. Also that it starts to fall apart and can be dangerous if your dragon bites the chunks of fake rock/sand off and eats it by mistake.

Another thing you need to do is bath him 3 times a week. Cause bearded dragon's actually would drink the bath water and absorb it through there cloaka. Also it would help him when he starts to shed. Just get a tubberwear from the store and fill it with semi warm water. Just high enough to brush his belly but no more. Also I can post a video on how to breed superworms. If you interested and mealworms. Also there is a link online of all available fruits and veggies. I have given mine seedless grapes, cantaloupe, plums, banana, mango, and kiwi. All stuff that isn't acidic basically.

Also dubiaroaches.com and aafeeders have good prices online for dubias your beardie will go through around 700-800 a week. Also you’ll want to use a calcium without d3 and calcium with d3 and vitamins 3 times a week and also don’t feed mealworms they have a hard exoskeleton that can cause impaction so use superwoms, butter worms, wax worms, and hornworms instead

@@camillejeanne213 Yes really. It’s disappointing that so called “professionals” are lying about this kind of thing. Orange for one is a colour, not a morph. A normal bearded dragon can be any range of colours from red to yellow to orange including the most common one; gray/brown. This does not mean it’s a morph. If you’re curious you can search up morphs/genes in bearded dragons, there are a lot of good websites that explain exactly what a morph is! But if you’re curious I can name a few; trans, hypo, dunner, zero and leatherback. There are obviously more but these are my personal favourites :)

I’m not really sure if it’s either to give them calcium every day but that might just be with older bearded dragons. I don’t know you should ask a vet

Wow good job but DONT WAIT 2 DAYS! Only because they won’t want to be near you in the next couple days and that’s just not a good idea make sure you to take my information, also I don’t know if you meant lettuce? but lettuce isn’t good for them

    • @AdrianaRose
      @AdrianaRose 4 роки тому

Bellah McBryde I think she just said lettuce but in the video I think she said she fed it mustard greens and turnip greens and bell pepper. I have a habit of just saying lettuce because it’s easier for people to understand instead of mustard greens or turnip greens for people are like what the hell is that😂😂😂

I have a beardie too. She's a leather back morph and her name is Lettie (named after the bearded lady from the greatest showman) She's special needs cause she has a deformed front leg and her back foot is missing toes. I also have 2 igauans, 8 pythons, a tank full of hissing cockroaches, leaches and I breed dubia roaches too. I also have 2 cats and 4 kids lol congrats on your handsome little beardie. Also bee pollen is a really great thing to put on their greens if they ever get picky. I have to do that with Lettie cause she prefers dubias over greens haha. Also they love cilantro!!

Bowser is a dope as name if you ask me!
My boy will be 2 in may and his name is Charizard! He has a 69g terrarium and a Charizard decal on the bottom left corner lol
Maybe I’m a nerd, but I like the name Bowser on your dragon!

As the beardie gets older please invest in a bigger cage. Also 20- 30 crickets for teen beardies 40- 80 crickets for babies hope this helped

Be careful with the substrate you have, if he eats too much up it it can fuck up his insides.
For my beardie I use a Matt that has texture to it.

Ahh so cute! We ended up taking my brother in laws bearded dragon and she was the best. So social literally walked around the house all day with her on my shoulder. We also got her a harness and she loved going outside. My brother in law also somehow trained to do her business in a blocked off area in her inclosure. Also we used long plastic chop sticks to feed her cause I was scared she’d stab herself on the metal tweezer things.

Hi congrats on your beardie ! Hes adorable. He can be fed 4x a day. And eat as much as he wants in those 4 time slots for 15 minutes at a time. To breed dubias you need to have adults. The males will have wings. They need 90° heat all day and need food everyday. If no cleaner bugs involved then clean everyday. Keep in a dark tub with a hole cut out in top with a mesh screen. Also not sure if you have one but theyll need a 10.00 uvb tube light a t5 or a t8 will work. Also a basking bulb s 50w or a 100w will work depending on the size of your enclosure . Theyll need 12 hrs of light and 12 hrs off. Some staples are kale, collard greens, mustard greens. Occasionally strawberries and blueberries. Good luck on your beardie

And how much pellets and what vegetables can they eat?

Hi hi my name is Terry and a little advice on your bearded dragon the nose and their eyes won't be able to shed off the skills you might want to take a tweezer and when it sheds pull off those pieces because the eyes will come over the nose and eye sockets will stay on after they shed so you'll have to pull those pieces off sorry this is such a long message talk to you

Hi! I wanted to gove you a tip, if it's not too late. I have 4 beardies, and 6 babies that hatched last week. If you're gonna have a baby, you shouldn't go to your job for a week. They require lots more attention that older beardies. They are alot like human babies, you con't just leave them for longer thatn an hour or two. It's probably too late, but just keep that in mind. Good luck with your dragon:)

Hey I loved the video! You are doing absolutely amazing with bowser, although one thing I noticed was that you had a repti carpet with rocks and sand in it. That can really not be good because the little loose pieces of Little Rock’s and sand might be accidentally digested by him which can actually kill them so be careful! Other than that you are doing amazing, I can tell you actually did your research!❤️

That’s awesome you got your baby bearded dragon wow I bet you are going crazy does he eat good you should introduce him to greens vegetables a little bit why he’s still young because if you don’t he’s going to be picky when he gets bigger he wouldn’t wanna eat greens much like vegetables when he gets older so it’s always goodTwo introduce that to them earlier I did and now my baby bearded dragon Rudy is eating bugs like mill worms wax worms all that shit in there now I love him so much😊
