    Sir, If my LTCG in sale of property is 2 Cr and if purchase a property worth 1 Cr, then can I completely avoid tax by investing balance 1Cr in REC bonds? That is can I avail both benefits (sec 54 and 54 EC) in the same transaction.

    Removal of indexation benefit is very harsh decision by government,will prove harsh for bjp in votes.... should consider roll back this decision. Nirmala ji will prove havoc for bjp.

    But Fy 2023-24 mai hmne 200000 ke stock purchased kiye hai or 10000 ke sale kiye hai ab hme kon se itr file krni hogi.????

    Sirji, LTCG Tax से भी ज्यादा तकलीफ होने वाली है CG reinvestment पे !! पहले indexed cost के बाद बचा हुआ profit ही reinvest करना पडता था cg tax बचाने को !! अब बगैर indexation वाला पूरा प्रोफीट reinvest करना पडेगा !! मे अगर पैसे की जरूरत के कारण पुराना प्रॉपर्टी बेचके, indexed प्रोफीट इन्वेस्ट करके, बाकी रकम का अन्य उपयोग करना चाहता हुं, तो अब वैसा नहीं कर पाउंगा 😢

    agar ancestral property hai 2001 se phele ka or partition hua 2020 me
    toh indexation lagega ya nai
    and agar lagega toh Tax 20% dena hoga ya 12.5%

    I have a Query when the Government is asking don't take cash while selling property which is ok .. if the builder who sells flat he is supposed to take everything in cheque and not cash then why do builder ask for cash... Black money and receipts are not given by builder to save his own tax ...? Why does Government makes those strigent rules ? Is it because there is some profit coming from Builders to Modi and Nirmala Sitaraman

    just like shares value as on 31/01/2018 has been grandfathered, the property indexed value as on 1/4/2024 or 23/07/2024 should be grandfathered. other alternative can be making indexation applicable only for property below sale value of rs.2 crores .

    Respected sir I have purchased a property in February 2019 in rupees 62 lacs but now a person wants to purchase this on October 2024 in rupees 62 lacs . This 62 lacs is 100 % white money. Then can I purchased a buider flat of in rupees 120 lacs . On paper value is only 22 lacs but I have 100% white money, how can i purchased this type of house where there is difference in on paper and Market price

    Good video, Recently I sold my property purchased in 1988. The cost of acquisition is around 12 lacs. I made agreement for sale on 13/7/24 (before budget) (kachha agreement) for Ra. 49.50 lacs and final sale deed was executed on 26/7/24 for Rs. 49.5 lacs. Please guide how to calculate LTCG as I made agreement to sale on 13/7/24 (before budget announcement) and final agreement was done on 26/7/24 (after budget announced) Whether I will get indexation benefit and can reduce the expenses incurred for selling property such as travelling, Brokercharge, stamp duty expenses etc. And what rate I have to calculate LTCG tax ie at 12.5 or 20 percentage

      Agar 1.3 lakh ka plot liye aur 5 lakh construction ( proofs chahiye ya valuer certificate ) - total cost 6.3 lakh hogi agar 23.7.24 ke bad sale kroge jaise 10 lakh ka sale kr diya toh tax 10-6.3 = 3.7 lakh pe lagega

    I think you are allowed to invest in 2 residential flats and not 1 like you said upto 2 crores. This is what I know before budget. So have changed it to just 1 property now?

      You are right but in video I said because ltcg is more than 2 Cr without indexation now only one house possible
      Otherwise in old regime two were possible

    Whether LIC policy maturity amout is Taxable or Tax Free? I have filed IT Return for FY 2023-24 and TIS has shown 10% recovery which was as such charged while filing IT Return.

    SIR, My Personal Case---- I Purchased a Commercial Property Shop in Delhi from DDA IN March 2012 (First Allottee)...Cost of Shop @32 Lac and Registry extra @193000 rs and property tax submit 45000 rs till March 2024...I sold shop consideration value 48 Lac and circle rate and stamp duty paid by buyer @ 58 lac......... How much my tax and and if any, how to minimise or avoid tax..... please suggest..... thanks 🙏 sold shop in MAY 2024........ BEFORE 2 MONTHS OF BUDGET

    A) How to calculate "cost" of ancestral property?
    B) Cost as FMV of property in 2001... how can we (practically) obtain that?
    C) I heard that for properties acquired before 2001(family property) benefit of indexation will continue... Is it true?

    सर मैं ने अगस्त 2023 में 50 लाख की मकान खरीदा , जो कि MF से 26 लाख अपने व 25 लाख पत्नी के मिलाकर खरीदा दोनों को LTCG टैक्स बना , मैंने अपने टैक्स की रिबेट 54F में लिया 1.पत्नी का तो टैक्स देना होगा ?
    2. मेरे पास अभी भी लगभग 20 लाख के SIP फण्ड के से पैसा मिल जाएगा तो क्या मैं 54F के तहत अपने बचे फण्ड को यूज़ कर सकता हूँ ??

    Sir, मैने एक फ्लैट लिया था जनवरी 2012 में, cost थी total 28 lakh rupees, ये में मई 2024 में बेच दिया 36 लाख में। इस पर लॉन्ग टर्म कैपिटल गेन टैक्स कितना भरना होगा। और ये 39 lKh bhi आगे नई प्रॉपर्टी प्लॉट खरीदने में लगा दिया। सलाह दो कितना टैक्स बनेगा।
