I really dig the 90’s inspired character designs, everyone looks really attractive but have a very “down to earth” neighborly attitude which adds to the charm. I was looking for a farming sim to eventually sink my teeth into for my downtime, but one that also adopts fantasy + dating sim elements might be a nice change of pace
Played the demo yesterday, and am so charmed by it! It just feels so cozy and cute (and has so many nice little QoL things that I really appreciate, though admittedly I have no idea how to catch fish....) Also (I think) you can romance the dragon and two older looking characters so... I'm very excited for this game lmao
Fishing is like in Animal Crossing, except the fish in this game don't get scared if you throw the bobber too close/right on top of them :) But they will swim away if you try to reel them too quickly/too late. To catch crayfish, you dive--you need to jump into bodies of water and look for dark bubbling circles.
I love artstyle and sprites ❤ I love old school anime artstyle so this is right my alley. I also like how organized this game is and it's easier for u navigate and search for NPCs. I feel like I'll buy this game and i would love to date Hayden 👀 Also u can date the dragon???
I never thought about it, but watching a voiceactor play games is so much fun, the voice you give the characters match them so well (especially hayden!!)

As an English teacer, I am so glad he, without making a big deal out of it, corrected the game's grammar at 11:49. They wrote "laying" but the correct form was "lying." Well done!
I believe the "I overslept" message indicates that a player wakes later in the day if they run out of time before reaching bed. When I have a small initial inventory I think about stashing tools in a chest when I can. For example, the watering can is likely only used at the farm and doesn't need to go to the mine.

What a fun playthrough of the demo! As for the love interests... I'm feeling Ryis, Balor and Eiland as far as the male love interests. And as far as the female love interests, I like the designs of Reina, Adelinde and Juniper as well. But I'm curious bout the love interests that haven't been revealed yet so I'll be discovering those secrets first before choosing a lead to seduce once the full game releases
I love the aesthetic this game has going for it but had a few minor gripes with the demo. They were mostly minor nitpicks with control or mechanical things that could easily be adjusted (like the scroll wheel being inverted) but my biggest issue was the dialogue feeling rather bland. it read as very dry and uninteresting and I hope that's less of an issue in the full game.
I felt like it was really good actually? Very funny and witty though it depends on the character. For me, it was an upgrade from stardew which can get pretty repetitive

No flavor and not much personality from individual characters, everyone felt all business. Understandably I get that it’s a medieval fantasy type setting so that’s presumably why the dialogue was so prim, but it wasn’t just the sophisticated characters; everyone read like that. I really didn’t get a sense of unique character voice from anyone, which was a shame. Some dialogue options for the mc were fun though!
not every cozy farmsim is stardew. the setting is more fantasy with nobility and magic. the gameplay so far also has lots of different mechanics like a mana bar and bug catching! like someone else said, the cast is also more diverse and it’s not even in early access yet. i love stardew so much but give the game a try before immediately comparing :)
So first, I'm really digging the retro-style anime character art. But, it's really disappointing to see closely all these 2D life/farming sim games copy Stardew Valley. I guess there nothing wrong with that if you dig stardew, but I'd love for some of these games to dig a little deeper into RPG and Survival mechanics.
I'm irritated that these games blatantly rip off the early versions of Harvest Moon: layout, mechanics, stories, events, Items, aesthetics, and even the damn sound effects! And yet, no one ever gives the series credit. (I understand that you can't lay claim to farming and marriage etc.., but come on! it's all within the exact same context!)

The German word "Eiland", a cognate of the English word "island", is a poetic term for an island. Its plural form is "Eilande". Hope that helps.

When I played it myself I had a feeling SungWon would be a man after my own heart and be into Juniper and lo and behold I was right (great taste imo)
