It's been 50 days with my speed. Yes the tyres and suspension don't feel like a miss but a different character and I forget sometimes i am doing 100+ . One thing is the brakes could do with more bite on both ...small thing tho
Has your Speed 400 changed after getting some km on it? Can you tell me if cruising at 100-110-120-130 even is ok or is there vibration that is annoying? Thanks--trying to find out what higher speed travelling [touring] would be like on these bikes
@@drd3816 I frequently travel upto 130 , with the error of 15kmph call it 120 , it's absolutely stable and you are almost numb to any extreme sensations at those speeds. At 140 on the odo your begs have a slight vibration that goes unnoticed because you reach 160 by that time and my rpm is locked at 7.5k rpm even after the 1st service so I'm not sure what happens at 9k rpm
@@Traveller_Da hey man thanks for the response i get to try the one on order i have coming in January so good to hear some reports...thats interesting that you are locked out at 7500 rpm--good to hear not much vibration so i read that Triumph Bajaj heard there was some vibrations in the Speed 400 and changed something at the factory to make the Scrambler 400X smoother. Some bikes get smoother with time once broken in too but from what you say sounds like they got it fixed now...congrats man and on sweet bike!
Beautiful bike!!! As a 50 years old beginner (1,82 cm high with 110kg weight) looking for his first bike, love this scrambler!!! Will do 70% commuting (town, work etc..) and 30% touring... Do you thing that bike can do some light touring? Thanx and regards from far away Serbia :)
"Ride safe!" Your closing words were very apt.....maybe don't overtake on a blind corner with a truck approaching? Interesting and thorough review, if a bit nerve-wracking at 15.55!
Dino bhai, thank you for the details, I want to buy one of the two but stuck in between. I am based out of Hyderabad and my residence has little bit of patchy roads or cement roads. I usually ride with pillion and we're on higher end of weight spectrum(seat comfortability). I am not a regular tourer but might go for 30-40 kms ride in and around city may be twice a month. Please suggest which one to buy. I heard that Scrambler top end is a bit compromised because of lower end grunt. How much is the usual top speed for Scrambler?

Dino bhai. Would you go for this or the new 390 duke?
I like this one more. Duke is Pure Brutal Power. Best suited for aggressive Riders.

Sir what about the gear box is it smooth ?
And also what about the braking system ?
what should be minimum height for this bike? i m 5'4 & I driven speed 400 was much comfortable but I think this bike Is much taller
I think above 5'7" or 5'8" persons would be comfortable
Dino bhai, video to accha hai, but 8:48, should not have parked the bike on the road for shooting the video.
Thanks for your lovely review.
Although your helmet mike is not that clear, kindly get it checked.
Will the 835 mm seat height be a problem in traffic for a person with 5'9" height?
No. You'll be good with it.
Not at all. I'm 5'8" and I don't find a problem.
This is awesome 😮❤
