The stage 4 in contra 3 is one of the manliest stages in videogame history, period. You start riding a futuristic motorcycle at high speed, shooting baddies who are also riding futuristic motorcycles at high speed. You destroy part of a battle spaceship soon after, then you jump from your ride and grab on to a helicopter's missile, where you fight what i can only describe as *an alien-cyborg-flying-ninja*, only for the helicopter *fire the missile WITH YOU HANGING ON IT, and you proceed to fight against the forementioned battle spaceship in the middle of a storm of missiles that you use to hang on*. All that while this music is playing in the background(plus the boss theme at the end, obviously).

Amazing memories... this is probably the most balanced Contra of all: good challenge, nice graphics, awesome music and crazy level design! The only problem is it has only 6 stages...But they all kick ass!
Think about the sheer ballsy bad-assfulness of leaping from a hover-bike at top speed, to grab on to a helicopter carrying a cruise missile, and then cranking THAT up to jumping from cruise missile to cruise missile in-flight before they hit the target. One handed. Because you're firing a machinegun with the other one.
Haha i luv this stage. at beginning on the mototcycles it'd be blasting those flyin pink bikers and scoring those 1-ups!! then fighting that damn blimp with lasers at the end while hanging in mid-air hard stuff but fun good times!
Ok lets begin: Stage starts with the roar if your hover motor bike. Music kicks in when the foes fly over head as you blast them as needed 1-ups are a plenty. Next: Stage miniboss attempts to take you down with seeker missles and trampling you. Next: Stage boss V1 hovers you ans uses all defense mechanisms to take you down to no avail. Last: You and partner attempt to take down enemy warship via missle attack. You one hand the onslaught while avoiding enemy fire, and survive nuclear blast. WIN!!
this and 2nd stage music of the first contra are the best tunes from the whole series in my opinion. Destroying a war-flying-ship while hanging from missiles is really badass, more if you can show that only with 16 MB.
The most amazing thing when this song starts: is the huge ass amount of aliens flying over you when the one ahead gives the signal. You know you're in for some intense shooting!

Cuando el helicóptero suelta el misil y uno agarrado a el, "que demonios!!"
Y encima tenías que luchar contra una especie de hombre-cohete y derrotar al Boss de nivel moviendote en medio de una lluvia de éstos.
En modo "hard" la pelea con el boss final de ese stage fácilmente te puede tirar todas las vidas, así tengas 10 vidas jajajaja es una locura
Y eso que en modo hard el misil va mas rápido, lo que le da aún mas emoción
