The black in the engine bay looks sick. For my car, I can't wait to convert it from Atkinson cycle to Otto cycle. Got the camshaft I need, just need to actually do it (gonna get help since I can't find how to loosen the timing chain tensioner)

Most excited about getting new wheels, not a big fan of chrome. Plus tires will be massively upgraded from the primacys which I am even more excited about.
Bonus: one of my best friends got a GR86 so I am looking forward to joining him when he does his free track day.
What I'm looking forward to most in 2023 is finally getting to learn my dream car, and owning a car worth working on. This is my second car, and my first one was a Prius, and the car I learned on was an SUV. So driving something RWD, and so much faster and lower than the cars I've previously driven has quite a learning curve. So far I've unwillingly lost traction once taking a turn too fast. And having a car that actually allows the user to work on it is amazing. When I had an issue with my first car that basically bricked the car, it turned out it needed a software update. So I'm glad I finally have a car that I can pursue my passion with and be able to learn and grow as a person and as a car enthusiast.
I can't wait to put on UEL headers and pair it with my GR exhaust. It's deep on its own so I expect it to be suuuper deep and rumbly after. I'm also excited to do my track day in May at Carolina Motorsports Park!!

dressup bolts are really nice. thought of getting them for my gfs frs and my wrx, an i was thinking sometime this year in 2023 about buying new wheels for both our cars, were currntly rocking the stock ones for now lol. glad i could still watch your videos you really inspired us to work more on our cars. keep it up !

Kevin, glad to see you landed on your feet! Planning on buying your overlays once the weather warms up enough to be able to install them properly in New England. But my real goal for this year is to take a week and drive down in Charleston SC and spend some time with my son who is stationed there for the navy. Hopefully he can get away for the weekend and we will head over and drive the tail of the dragon! Will be great to spend time with him, but have not decided if he will get to drive my new baby or not.

My biggest thing I'm looking forward to is getting my 22 brz out of storage due to the midwest winters we get. I've been watching your videos, and it has been making me want to drive my car more. Also, I might change up my exhaust set up this year. Unfortunately, I think mine is too loud atm.

Honestly mostly just looking forward to the spring time. I'll be doing headers and likely a tune in the spring, and the early spring cars and coffees are my favorite part of the year. Gonna cash in on that HPDE day as well some time soon!

Hey Kevin! What do you recommend for cleaning the engine bay? How would you go about it? Yours looks immaculate! @Kevin Vo
You can just use a quick detailer or a degreaser if necessary with a variety of different brushes. You can also use a steam cleaner if you have access to that. A lot of people power wash their engine bays, just try to cover the battery, fusebox, alternator, etc. and don't spray them directly.
Definitely would've went with burnt. After I ordered all the mods for my 22 brz it got totaled so for 23, I can't wait to start putting them on my 23 brz once I get the time.

Personally I'm looking to see how much a turbo setup would benefit this new 86 vs the old one. If it was apple to Apple comparison I think it would be cool to see. I haven't seen any one else do a video on that. An in depth video series or one video would be sick IMO. I'd watch it either way lol

This year i'm looking forward to a new duckbill spoiler, cold air intake, axleback exhaust, lit kits from Lit Logos & Velossa, and so much more. Also the warm weather but Alaska's been warming up a whole lot recently. But yeah, I've finally started the hobby i've looked forward to since i was a kid!

Watching your videos, I bought a GR86. Your videos are very well made with good explanation. With the dress up bolt kit, it would make my GR86 beautiful inside and out! I have big plans for this car, road trips, car shows and more!
