dude: hey boss we have a ton of e-waste and our new laws prevent us from throwing it into a landfill...
boss: don't worry i have an idea!!!
keep taking notes and you're hired.
😆😆😆
Holy crap, man lmao Thanks for taking one for the team! Love your videos, brudda. Definitely an interesting one.
Dang those are some graphic cards. Some of those looks like they would run on windows 98, 2000 or XP era or looks like those could be use for something basic and that it. Interesting video and would forget how many times I even brought mystery boxes on that PC game PC Building Simulator.
It can get annoying, too. Unexpected delivery delays, getting a broken high-end GPU, etc.
I'd rather stick to Bits & PCs. I don't trust Uncle Tim or his Bargain Basement at all.
Win98 doesn't support anything newer than GF6 series (at least not without modified drivers)
yeah.... windows 98 doesn't support PCI-E or SATA vary unstable.
windows 2000 50\50 if you back port XP drivers
so basically tech by matt payed for a box full of rust and dust lol
Do return it, that will teach them not mess with the tech community
I've seen these before and all I keep wondering is who's dumb enough to actually fall for this? While what's inside might be a mystery to you as the buyer, they know exactly what they're going to put in those boxes, and it damn sure ain't gonna be a card they can sell by itself for anywhere from $400 to $1500
Dumb people.....dumb....people....
Thanks to you and a few others I've seen do this. Really took one for the team by wasting your money instead of us. Like others I'd definitely be interested in the return process and how Amazon tries to justify this mess.
I definitely want to hear about your process of trying to return these.
Excellent video! This video should be seen by Amazon, and Amazon should immediately ban that seller(s)
Amazon will promote this kind of stuff if you look at a lot of it. If it's not losing them money(And in most cases it isn't) They'll let it continue.
Dang man I was expecting like atleast some 500 400 or 600 series cards
I want to see a video of you trying out some retro games with these!
Love your videos man
The rust is from cheap cargo shipping across seas from China. There's a ton of people importing tons of old recycled an used parts and selling them like this at huge profits.
Awesome job on this video Matt. Well done sir.
You should put all those in one single machine and see if it can game.
Thanks for the vid, love your content. Cheers
Fun and interesting video indeed! Just a different type of video i really liked. Should probably try to get refund especially the broken card from 2009 haha
Sending them back is the first thing I would be doing, though I had spotted them also advertised would I purchase one of those mystery boxes. The answer would be definitely not, you are better off purchasing a low end RX or GTX card for around $150.
Lol inthink it's the first time this year a video of yours popped Up in my feed (subbed for a long time btw)
Welcome back!
Such an engaging video! Thanks!
I bought a S3 Graphics S25 Matrix card from an eBay seller that showed up in this box. This card is a Chinese market only HP card, and I asked the seller where he got it. I was so confused why so many of these cards are popping up state side. He buys pallets of Amazon returns and this was on one of the pallets. He said there might be more. People are returning them, LoL. I'm glad to get the card I got, but if a person was looking for a modern card, then they would be highly disappointed.
Jeez, my first custom pc had an HD 2600 AGP and would probably smoke all of these
I'm curious if you can get refunds on every box that had a dusty and rusty GPU in it since they are essentially trash. Not sure if Amazon would side with the seller or buyer🤷
Best video yet 😤
Ugghhh.... Someone is selling OLD office Pc Parts & getting people to actually buy it by claiming you have a chance at getting a New graphics Card. I bet almost no one would buy these things otherwise.
What is that desk pad and where can I buy it
find a way to run them all in sync kinda like sli but with all the cards
wow my old RX 560 would be gold in this lot, just have to add rust and dust. 🤣
do you think its a good time to upgrade from windows 10 to windows 11
ive done bios update b450 tom max/r5 3600/rtx 2060/32gb ram????
My question is can they be returned or refunded? Especially since when you go on Amazon you are expecting to get exactly what ordered? Never do you have to worry about probability. This is something you would see on Ebay and shouldn't see on amazon. Can you get a refund if you were to buy them?
Those "?" in the boxes are hilarious XD
You think youd be able to run them on sli?
I can't understand how Amazon allows this. It should be very obvious to them as they do not pick products randomly and would have expected all products for the same SKU to be the same size. I'm a little happy that the seller didn't purposely make all packages the same size to indicate that it would have fit a newer generation card as that should be more obvious to Amazon that it's a scam
I know this comment is late but some of those graphic cards could probably run some higher games on the most powerful PC on the planet :D.
Thank you for showing this video.
I kept thinking you were running an ad for "Lester"....
when i was buying replacement dell parts on ebay i noticed a lot of people have like 5 different accounts, probably what happened here
Now you can build a mining rig the probability that you make something is really low but you can make one
Comedy or tragedy? Don't know, but it was worth watching. Please do show the last two cards.
I bought one of those boxes with the same result, so I returned it ,now there trying to charge me for it saying a new and higher quality card was shipped and I returned an old card
Shopping websites like Amazon should just remove any 1 star product and add a word minimum requirement on reviews so it can't just be a star rating
Bro got scammed and sound so calm
Thank you for the video
Is there a part 2?
I saw this the other day and none of them had any reviews and didn't offer a refund.
Yes please make a video about trying to game on those 😂 maybe try some eSports
that wise man is truly wise. your paying them to let you get rid of their E-waste all them cards in maybe 200 years may be worth $1 a piece.
What game where you playing around the 4:00 minute marker?
Hey Matt, can you tell me what FPS Game that you were playing at 3:55 .. looks interesting as I am also a FPS Gamer. Thanks!
call of duty probably the first COD launched
Everything is a hustle.
Oh wait, since this is amazon, you could just return the gpu. The only thing anyone loses is time.
I would like to see if any of them work at all.
I think I'm going to start on a part 2 to this video very soon. Just to see what works, what doesn't and how bad they are at gaming.
These scammers are not even trying to hide their scams anymore. Those are scrapyard-level tech right there. If I was the one doing the scam, I'd have these ready for puchase at around $100 per pop, then for the first few orders, I'd give out RX 570s or 580s. Then when the reviews start pouring in, I'll unload the trash. Then maybe I'll occasionally throw in a decent GPU in there.
These guys, on the other hand, sells literal trash from the get-go.
that s video card would be great for crt tvs via analog
feeling bad for you brother
Fairly sure you will never see your money ever again bud. GL.
What if you bought them all from the same listing!?
After watching it, i feel bad for you
you get more value from untested gpus boxes
Return the hell out of them IMO, they aren't even trying, there are a lot of cards that are half decent even in the R9 200 and GTX 700 and below series which are included in the 70% bracket.
Hell the r5 340x is part of the upper 30%, and would be a smaller slap in the face. The GTS 450 and 550ti scam cards also aren't this bad.
Imagine paying $100 for this and getting a "winning draw" of the GTX 960M from my 6 year old laptop. Dust, corrosion and heat damage included.
it looks like these came out of an old mac
card 10 will just be a pile of rust.
Hey look on the bright side you can do a video called gaming with the worst gpu
Can you return them?
On newegg i almost bought a rx 6600 DRAWING 8gb pcie... nice for $500
You could just Sue Amazon
Low weight= Missing parts, most likely heatsinks
for 500 quid you could have bought 3 rx 5700 xt and resold them at a profit.
Just return them bro, eventually they will stop scamming people
Please report these. especially those that were broken/ rusty and without the display port. What can you do with a 256MB VRAM GPU without the display? Any idea what people would use it for back then?
A major UA-cam channel JayzTwoCents already did this to show that it is a scam.
Rip. Money go bye-bye
Dude I wouldn't give 20 bucks for all of those
I hope you had a smoke after opening that e waste. No I don't want to see you try to use them.
So thats what happens to my old gpu thrown in the garbage !
A Nvidia 9300 dear god.🤐
It gives you 99.99% chance of not winning 🤷
Return them 100% no shame and report them for scamming people
Epic e waste , guess the same person sold all of them
Rename the video titled : How to Get Hosed By Buying Mystery Boxes and Paying For Not Even Premium Packaging.
Try to send them back all of them don't even worth 10$
Please return these and let us know lols
You know you could have easily return these eight? I’m sure you did and got your money back. Amazon will auto accept your return for pretty shady sellers like these.
100% chance the seller is faking the odds to get a good card - nobody is there to check up on them, so why would they put any real expensive cards in the box when they can fill them all with salvaged crap and make more money!
Imagine tho a 3090
Call it for what it is a scamazon.
Graphic cards exactly 🤦🏾♂
Why is this allowed on Amazon?
Sheesh mystery box...More like suppliers trying to scam people with trash products they have lying around...
Return them thats just wrong ripping people off
life hacks #35!
buy a bunch return them to amazon if they got the shit card in them hahaha
Such a big disappointment, just throw them in the recycling bin.
Nice
Super oof..
Probably better of to just bite the bullet and buy a GT 710
just return them
i can pretty much guarantee nobody is getting anything 9 series and up, the racketers running this are just pulling these things out of old junk oem systems
Pokémon cards for rich nerds
Did Amazon do anything for you?
Jayz
