Speaking of Cell Phones. Back in my younger days of 21-23 I used to by iPhones and High End Galaxy devices for side income. A lady sold her Grandmas phone who passed away, it was a Galaxy. However she wiped it or thought she did and to the naked eye she did but it had a Micro SD Card. All photos were stored to that SD card instead of the internal storage of the phone. When I took it home and reset it myself I opened the back to check it out fully. There was the SD. I paid for a service to check IMEI and such of the device and it will tell me the carrier. So I looked up that phones IMEI and it said T-Mobile Carrier and I took it there. They checked the IMEI, pulled up that customers information and contacted them and the lady came in 15 mins to check the SD Card. They had over 1K photos on it full of nothing but memories from the perspective of Grandma. Felt good to give her that joy that she didn't know she had.

I worked for a cellphone repair company, we did thousands of phones daily. You wouldn't believe what we saw that people leave on their phones.
I mean, I guess when it needs to be repaired sometimes they wouldn't even have access to their data or be able to do backups and delete the stuff before they send it in?

I hope you didnt pay 250.00 for this box. Seems like it was picked over pretty well. I have been in electronics for over 50 years and enjoy watching you go through the box. I would love to purchase returned pallets but I know unless you get them from Amazon themselves they are picked over pretty well. Only thing I saw worth anything was the ipod pro and that would depend on what generation they were and if they worked., This reminds me of my days working as a manager for Radio Shack when we used to get shipments in I would delight in going over all the newest electronic items.

I thought the major reason electronics were returned to Amazon was because they didn't work.
Many times the return is connected to warranty service agreement. The unit could be a year old. I turned a failed laptop in that was 14 months old that had an extended warranty.
... Amazo offers free returns .. free .. free shippng and handeling .. did I say free ..?... people love free and they return (freebie) if it does not smell right or whatever .. Some scammers even .. imagine that ..!!
3/4 of all returns to Amazon work just fine with a large portion still being brand new, factory sealed.

Another pretty good box! Sad people don't think to reset the phones before returning them. They were lucky you ended up with them and they got deleted instead of in the wrong hands.

@@lesterb9807 not normally refurbished stuff, mostly returns, and shelf pulls. The stuff can be new, used or broken junk. You never know what you are going to get.

Some of them are trash...... Like for example those one where you're guaranteed to get a graphics card. Sounds good right? Well guess what the person got a graphics card but unfortunately the graphics card was extremely used not new like what you would expect

This is my first time watching your content and I am very pleased. A good video and an honest guy. I wanted to buy one so this might have convinced me.
More stores are charging a restocking fee so people aren’t returning much. Amazon doesn’t do that and they don’t check what’s in the box. People send weird things in those boxes.
I work for Amazon returns and we absolutely do check what's in the box.

I have questions I'm hoping you can answer, I bought a small box that happened to be a mystery box which contained a non brand smart band 7 worth $7.00 for 30 something dollars but it showed 6 items in it in the picture. So my question is, is the small box 1 item, medium box 2 items and large box 3 items? What I don't understand is they call them pallets, 1 item is not a pallet, how much does a pallet cost?

before you reset the phone you need to remove the google account off the phone first or it can get google locked when someone turns it on. it will ask for the old google account info. But if you remove the account before resetting then it doesn't happen.
Amazon UK Allow scam, so called Amazon Mystery boxes, where they show you will get a lot of items and actual only get one item and its value is less they what you paid for the box, been shown to be a scam, BUT Amazon UK still allow it on Amazon.
Why would a seller charge _less_ for a box than the individual items are worth? That makes no sense; the business would quickly run out of money.

I work for a company who sell to Amazon. When they return goods to us, 95% of it works fine and it’s all just thrown in one big box usually without packaging. Absolutely atrocious.
Unfortunately, the allure of being an Amazon vendor has to do with getting onto the world's biggest stage and potentially realizing on significant economies of scale. Sadly, you also need to accept its drawbacks and Amazon's generous return policy brings out some of the sleaziest pigs who return just about anything in any condition.

People… people… people … please do your due diligence before forking out your hard earned money on these SCAMS … some content creators get gifts & even money to put out content such as this …. I’m not saying this is one of them but research before buying a mystery box from anywhere… I actually know a bunch of people got SCAMED spending hundreds of dollars & only got birthday cards with envelopes
