When you cut the holes in the bin did you cut it to be 3 inches in diameter like the sponges you use? Or did you cut it a bit smaller?
Also what tank size do they fit like that in? Thanks

To answer your question as best I can threw text until then : Yes I do cut it a bit smaller!
Then with a razor or exacto knife I cut the middle of the sponge about 1/4" inch down and place it in groove.
