Andy is awesome. I played lead next to him before he moved to Europe. An awesome player and gentleman.
I love how the bassist reacts almost instantly when the trombone is blowing in the lower register and starts walking in the higher register. After the trombonist climbs back up, he casually walks back down. Small details really make the difference.
Beautiful, resonant sound all across the horn. Love his playing.

@lincolnrossmusic it sounds great, but you can get quite awesome results for 1/10th that price or less. A Rode NT1A or a Telefunken M80 record bones quite well. Or for a little more money, an Electro-Voice RE20 with a strong preamp gives a fantastic, thick, creamy sound.
